I really wanted to like this place, but not the biggest fan. The food was too salty/bland, but I also didn't get what they are probably known for. They have a small menu and I don't believe they serve everything that is shown on Yelp anymore. It is popular though and the Thai tea they serve is good; not enough to come back tho.

We came here after touring Los Alamos history museum because we were hungry for bibimbap and soup and they did not disappoint. It was really good. I wish there was a kids menu, chicken strips maybe since my son is very picky. But overall it was a great food experience.

A delicious lunch stop located next to the Bradbury Museum. Staff were very friendly and attentive, our meal tasted good, and portions were good (family style portions). We especially liked the fried rice with shrimp, the mixture was very fresh. Steamed dumplings were a bit soggy and wet, but the fried dumplings had a great balance of crisp. No frills and menu is limited, but restaurant was clean. Would definitely eat again when in the area.

The food was delicious. The fried baozi was absolutely the most scrumptious little delight of the bunch. Once again my little group of people was left satisfied. Not only was the food yummy, but the service was very nice as well. All in all made for an excellent lunch.

Thanks Yelpers for recommending this restaurant. Our lunch plans fell through post Bandelier hike so we were searching for options. What a surprise to find such a tasty Chinese restaurant for this city slicker from Seattle. All ingredients were so fresh. Spring rolls were made to order. Vegetarian buns were perfection. Noodles were prepared just right though slightly salty for my taste. We even purchase take out for a ball game that night. Only thing To change is include more dipping sauce for the spring rolls and maybe add mint to the rolls for added flavor. Oh the staff were super friendly. We conversed in Mandarin and they were very understanding when my son broke a bowl.

I've tried many things on this menu and am never disappointed! I love that they have rice noodle substitutions for gluten free options. The online ordering makes pickup extremely easy, and dining in is a nice cozy experience.

We were so happy to find this restaurant in Los Alamos! The food was fresh and delicious. I had the vegetable fresh rolls that were the best I've ever had and the pad Thai with tofu which was good. My husband had the fried egg rolls (I tried one and liked it too) and the chicken fried rice which he enjoyed. The service was excellent, as were the prices, and there was an option to eat indoors or outside. It is a totally peanut free restaurant. We highly recommend Yuan's.

I did not know that they have a buffet and had we dined in I would have loved to try it! I believe this place has changed ownership since I had last been here as hispanics owned it prior and it looked different from what I remember. One of the owners whom took my order seemed to not understand much english (which is total fine) and ended up punching in cashew chicken instead of kung pao chicken; however, my order was still correct. We were offered a table while we waited (we were standing) which was very nice as they were very busy and had a full house. Now to the good part...the food! I ordered crab rangoons and kung pao chicken with steamed rice, the broccoli beef for my mom, and bff ordered the pork fried rice and the wonton soup. Everything was decent, but not outstanding and could use more flavor. The kung pao chicken was not spicy at all. I had a piece of mom's broccoli and it that was very tasty. Prices were very reasonable as for all three entrees as well as the app and soup came to 45 bucks. I would definitely like to try their buffet if I return next visit.

The restaurant itself is dated and it's not beautiful, but it will do in a pinch. My favorite thing about this place is I can order sesame balls even though they are not on the menu.

I went again today for a late lunch and enjoyed some aspects of the meal. For one, it was just me and two other tables who closed out right when I was walking in. I was quickly sat, and proceeded to have pretty slow service to start. Once a server finally came back around 5 minutes later, he brought some delicious spicy/sweet peanuts to start. Returned less than a minute later to take my order, then proceeded to have great service afterward.. let me start with the spicy baby cucumbers: pretty tasty and a large serving, however I didn't think they were that spicy. The chile oil used is mostly oily with some not so spicy Chiles used (that could just be my heat tolerance) but nonetheless, they were delicious. The hot tea was fresh and he brought it out with water, which I appreciated.. I was however slightly disappointed in the Dan Dan Noodles, I didn't take a picture just because it honestly was served not too appetizing or picture perfect like most of the previous reviews. Everything was mixed together, and the meat was all in the bottom under all of the noodles. The flavor was pretty good, but I didn't get the normal Szechuan flavor or spiciness that I've had in the past at other places. I do love the fresh noodles, but the overall dish was a little underwhelming. I would have liked it to be a little more presentable, along with more of a noteworthy flavor other than meaty broth with some chile oil (again more on the oily side not so much spice). Overall, the experience was decent and good service. I will come back to try something else and maybe it just wasn't a dish for me.
