Although the food hall is an agreeable environment with clean surfaces and well controlled volume, the "Santa Fe Barbecue" joint, which chomp shamefully harbors, is not only a disappointment, but a misrepresentation and disgrace to Barbecue. The flavors are lackluster and forgettable, the menu is limited, and the presentation is uninspiring-- all of which I would be willing to overlook if it weren't for the measly portion I was served. For a $14 ticket, I received not more than 1/4 pound of dry baby back ribs with a reserved drizzle of syrupy barbecue sauce, and a two-by-four tin of fossilize and cold Mac and cheese. Cleanliness and hygiene are also an unquestionable concern to anyone with culinary standards or general dislike of germs in their food. I regret giving this establishment my business.

Fun little place off a main street. Easy to walk to. After 5:30 pm for most food options to open up. Open late to hang.

Second visit to Chomp and was as sweet an experience as the first time. We especially enjoy Matt's custom cocktails with all the unusual tinctures and muddles. Last night I wanted something fruity and he came up with a hibiscus orange flower combo that was exactly what I wanted! He uses a fresh-picked juicy prickly pear muddle in the marg...so good! Everyone is so friendly, the Cambodian food is delish, so is the chicken sammie on croissant from the tea vendor. Love the Italian kiosk and local market items! Looking forward to all the activities coming up!

We were thoroughly enjoying all of the New Mexican cuisine we were also missing some home cooked Asian food that is our comfort, go to! We decided to go to Dumpling Tea & Dim Sum and we were blown away by the food, service and learning about the owners and their journey to Santa Fe!! First the service - we ordered and got our food served to us! The food! Wow! I ordered the Beef Noodle Soup and soup buns! So so delicious!!! The owner shared his story of moving to Santa Fe after being in New York but covid happened. His wife and daughter along with his parents were arriving soon! We were so happy to learn about his story and happy that he was going to reunite with his family! The place is within a plaza area with other businesses. Eventually when visiting New Mexico, you may get tired of eating stuff with green and/or red chiles…read moredumped all over it and seek out a different kind of cuisine. This was the spot I found myself in about midway through my trip to Sante Fe, and happen to find this Asian spot pretty close to my hotel. The Yelp reviews checked out, and some of the photos really were enticing so I decided to give it a go on a chilly night. It's a simple but well appointed place, just outside the main downtown area, and really close to the main rail station.. just a block or two over. Walking in your are confronted with delicious smells and savory aromas, always a good sign. I took a seat and was helped promptly. I had seen glowing reviews about their hot and sour sweet potato rice noodle soups, and decided to get one with beef. I also can't help but get some dumpling, and went with the spicy shrimp ones. My soup came out first, and was in a nice large bowl filled up with hot soup. My first sip was so incredible, I could not wait to plow through the bowl, and I did just that. Spicy, sour, hearty, tender beef and noodles, lots of well cooked veggies... it all came together beautifully. This was the perfect dish with it being cold out. Shortly after, my dumplings arrived, and they were the perfect compliment to the soup. I even put a couple in there to soak up that hot and sour flavor, and that was just delightful. On their own, they were plenty good. I have no complaints about either item. This was the perfect change-up meal from all the New Mexican cuisine I had been having. I recommend it for those seeking a curveball!

I ordered the shrimp fried rice, which came out quickly, piping hot, and delicious. It needed just a tad of heat-bringing spice, and the table-provided chile crisp was just the thing. There were lots of shrimp, and little explosions of nicely-plumped peas and corn kernels in every bite. My wife ordered the fried pork dumplings, which took an inexplicably long time to come out of the kitchen. The server apologized, but didn't explain the delay. However, they were large, perfectly fried, and very filling. She loved them, and luckily we were not in a hurry that day. We didn't order drinks other than water, but they have a decent selection of bottled sodas, beers, and mineral water on display, and they offer Thai tea, ginger tea, and iced teas as well. Everything says freshly, handmade, and the staff seems always busy and on task. Highly recommended.

Sure, there didn't seem to be much foot traffic as in the oldin' days, but it was updated inside (as opposed to the former southwestern look of Villa Linda) and seemed to have some really nice stores (didn't stroll much as we came for one specific thing). I would definitely come back again when visiting and having more time to check it out. From the outside, it does look somewhat depressed so perhaps people sense that it is the same way inside (looks can be deceiving) therefore, don't stop in to shop.

It's home to over 70 retailers according to this Yelp business page. While I didn't spend a whole lot of time here, I did recognize that it was in large part well-maintained and clean - including the women's restroom near the food court. I went here only for Bath & Body Works and The Boba Tea Company. But they have numerous stores including Dillards, Cost World Market, Hobby Lobby, Foot Locker (a Kids store too), Skechers, JCPenney, Boot Barn, and smaller stores like Señor Murphy Candymaker (a Santa Fe Tradition since 1971). They also have a Regal movie theater and LiggettVille Adventure Center near the food court that features a ropes course, zip rails, and a rock climbing wall. The interior is classy and very comfortable. We were seated at a nice comfy corner booth. The soft music in the background was soothing and just noticeable enough without being a distraction. We were served complimentary flutes of local sparking wine and a fresh baked bread basket and butter to start. We then ordered cocktails and three starters. First was a split plate of the endive smoked duck salad with a warm bacon vinegarette. Wow...this was nice and refreshing. This was followed by the crab dumplings with fresh corn and peas and lobster sauce. Delicious! The final small plate was seared foie gras on top of banana bread toast. This was very good. I miss foie gras. Unfortunately, it's banned in California. They had a 2023 Sea Smoke "Ten"Pi ot Noir on the wine list. This is one of the best Pinot Noirs produced in California and not easy to find. This was a no doubter and we ordered a bottle to pair with our entrees. My wife ordered their signature elk tenderloin for redemption because the restaurant the night before failed at executing this. I ordered the tomahawk pork chop. This was cooked to perfection with a nice thin crust on the outside and a perfect very light pink juicy center. We ordered a side of brocolini that was pan roasted with shallots and butter. Everything was very good and Michelin grade in our opinion. Lastly we ended the evening and split the tiramasu type of desert. My wife had the expresso martini and I had an 18 year old Glen Morangie scotch neat. The service was excellent and worth the splurge. This is a must when visiting Santa Fe.
