I have had hearing aids before, but these guys are great. I love my new hearing aids and this is the place to get them.

I have a friend at work who got hearing aids about a year ago and has been very happy with them and the service he received from All About Hearing. I finally got tired of saying, "What?" or "Excuse me?" or "Could you repeat that?" and had some extra money, so I made an appointment. The major issue was the cash - they are not cheap and chances are your insurance won't cover them. Dr. Price did my hearing test and confirmed what I knew from personal experience and my primary care physician - too many concerts and nights warming up between drilling rig motors in Wyoming had left me with moderate hearing loss at lower frequencies and moderate-to-severe at higher ones. They were able to set me up with aids immediately and the service to date has been wonderful. Again, the ones I got were pretty much the top of the line. They take some adjustment, both physically and with additional visits to All About Hearing to filter out some non-critical, annoying sounds. I have had my hearing aids almost 25 years, and I have been with Dr Sally for most of them! Getting them so young was quite life changing! Dr Sally helped walk me through the emotions and adjustment of wearing them, tweaking them and hearing again. Dr Sally listens to what your needs or concerns are and makes adjustments to your hearing aids and/or recommends personal strategies by positioning yourself in rooms or with people to help you get the best hearing possible in every situation. I have had two bad experiences at All About Hearing. If I could give less than one star I would . I had some ear wax I could not remove and after seeing their ad in the paper went there. I was told by Dr. Sally that the wax was probably too deep for them to remove and I need to see a doctor. I was told this at the counter she did even look in my ear. I went across town to Beltone and they removed the wax in less than five minutes at no charge. Six months later saw another ad in the paper for hunter's plugs. I called and were told they were 180.00. I made an appointment for the next day and were told they would cost two thousand dollars. I told Dr. Logan the price I was quoted and he checked with the person I spoke to on the phone. She denied telling me the price. He took the ear mold and told me he would check on the price and get back to me. Two weeks later I get a call and they told me the price had gone up and they were 1900 hundred dollars. Called to have my son tested for Auditory Processing Disorder by an Audiologist on the recommendation of a Speech Therapist. The first time the person hung up on me. The second time the person that answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about. I was trying to explain and she just kept saying that they test hearing. I told her his hearing is fine, that's not what I need. She finally transferred me to someone that had a clue. I was told not many Audiologists work with children, so I will only go back if I absolutely have to. May have to go to Lubbock to get the care my son needs. read more

I've been with my wife for almost 3 years and would not let her test my hearing. I knew there was a problem but I didn't want it to be real. After the test my wife has given me a gift.
