If I could give this place a negative star I would. This place is horrible. Do not go here. It's expensive $41 dollars for a set of acrylic with gel and $61 for a pedicure with gel. On top of the high cost the nails came out horrible. As you can see from the pictures they are done poorly. My technician got glue all over me. The nails are crooked m, filed unevenly, and she didn't apply the acrylic with care. Some of my nails are smaller than my actual nail so you can see my natural nail underneath. She cut me twice! She never clean the blood up and kept filing which means she uses the same stuff on other people. So unhygienic. She didn't listen to what I wanted. I came out in pain and really disappointed. I can't believe this place has such a high rating. My friend who got the pedicure was shocked on the price for a pedicure and her technician cut her too. My mother and I wanted to get mani and pedis and they said it would be 30 minute wait. We told them we'd be back and we're back 20 mins later. After waiting for an hour I finally got seated for a pedicure and my mom waited another 40 mins. Then they asked if she was getting mani and pedi too. Which frustrates us because we had said that earlier. But we were patient. They forgot AGAIN and skipped over her. Then tried to act like she never said she wanted her nails done. Just horrible service. I also saw them telling everyone it would be 30 minute wait time which isn't true because they clearly take longer than that. My experience was okay overall. I didn't get the lady's name but the way she went about everything was a little rough. My nails look great but she left my hands with debris from filing and buffing. I thought she was rushing -- I don't know if she had An appointment but the business wasn't at all busy. My friend recommended this place so I tried it out. read more

Usually I'm happy with this place, however today I was asked to (pretty much rushed off my chair) step off the pedicure chair barefoot and sit at a near by table and wait for my toes to dry b/they had a customer waiting. Okay so where do i start..... I am always up to try new places to get my nails done. I was apart of a wedding party of 6 girls that had an appointment, So i didn't really have any hear say about the place to get our nails done. So before going to get our nails done i went online and they had a basic mani and pedi for $30 (so it stated). I was just going to add gel polish to my nails and do reg. polish on my toes. I decided to add an Ombre sparkle (check out the pics...I even showed her the brides nail who had an ombre to them for an example) on top of the solid color They of course charged $5 for toes and $5 for finger nails so $10 extra. so that brings the total to $40. Okay, so that was fine with me that they added the charge for the sparkle. BUT.....From the start of me walking through the door they rushed me and the whole process. I wasn't expecting a long pedi being that i was doing a basic one BUT, I kid you not i was only in that chair long enough to have her trim my toe nails and put polish on. My feet didn't even soak for 1 min. Before i could figure out the message chair i was done and on to my finger nails. The process for my hands we pretty much the same (Short but sweet) She wasn't even going to shape them, until i asked her to. Over all the service was very bad! The girl that did my nails had no clue what she was doing. Another co worker of hers kept telling her stuff, and she was getting all flustered (There were 5 people working) She wasn't even going to put lotion on my legs before polish until the other girl said something. Anyway, at the end i went up to pay and she was writing down what i owed her and im doing the math in my head and it didn't add up. All said in done i walked out with a $57 bill for crappy nails and service. All the other girls got what they wanted (but felt rushed as well) and i was just so irritated and tired i just said forget it and got over it. It's only money right? read more

This was the first time i had been to this establishment, it was ok they were quick to get me seated, the woman was really nice but i didn't like the way she did my pedi. She barely scrubbed on my foot with the pumice stone, she asked if i wanted the calluse remover but i declined when she told me it was an extra $10.00 dollars a bit pricey i thought. 5:25p Called 2 places nearby for last minute walk-in pedi. 1st timer for this area. I usually get my $15 spa pedi in SFV 818. Here, $22!? Wow. 1 place had wait til 630. Here, "come on in". Great. 5 ladies working. Nice spa massage chairs. Pretty iridescent glass water bowls. 1 big screen tv with HGTV on. I've never done acrylic pedi. They offered it for $37. Heck no not 4 me. Warm lotion for the gentle foot massage. Hot towel wrap for the feetsies. No Dremel for me, yay. Heavy Dremel was used for lady next to me for her acrylic gel toes. Oh wow, Neighbor Lady accepted parrafin and sea salt massage as well, $62. Hot dayyumm... my nail tech is done with me. Quick polisher. My baby toenail is chwecked(sp?) Diagonal cut for my taste, lol. Overheard this place just finished remodeling a couple weeks ago. I would come again if desperately needed and am in the area. I came in unprepared in work closed toe flats. Didn't have my chanclas in the car she slipped me some paper foam pink slippers w/o me asking. I can't say enough positive about All About Nails. I think before I found this place I went to every other nail establishment in town. The truth is I always get complements on my nails and the gel lasts! In fact, it last so long that I get tired of the color before its really necessary for me to have them done again. The owners are lovey and very accommodating. Most of the time they are a very busy place so its best you just call them before to ask if they have time. I have never been turned down. They really take their time with you and give great massages. They spend about 20 to 30 minutes for a full pedicure and about 20 minutes for a gel manicure. If I get both I'm there for a little over an hour. Every tech in there is friendly and knows what they are doing. Unlike a lot of nail spas you can tell the owners really care about their business and customers. I'm always relaxed, happy and satisfied when I leave! read more

This place is actually dangerous...had a pedicure today and the woman took almost the whole side of my big toenail off trying to get the sides clean - I have been getting pedicures for a long time and actually didn't notice it until later because it didn't start hurting until an hour ago....now I may have to spend my afternoon at urgent care....stay away!!! read more

This place is hit and miss now. For years All About Nails was wonderful, and I think it's still okay sometimes, as long as Charlene is working. Other than that, the quality of the service is debatable. Unfortunately, I have had chunks of my nails filed off because the staff was rushing or careless, other times I have been told to come at a certain time, and have ended up waiting for over an hour to actually be seen. And, after waiting, and telling them that I no longer had time to get my nails done, I got a simple "ok, sorry" as the staff looked for the next person in line. They need to be better with time management so that their customers have a relaxing experience. As a customer, you can feel that the staff is rushed and trying to just move on to the next person, rather than giving each customer a quality experience. It's too bad that this is one of the only places to get these services done in Orcutt but, even then, I don't think I'll be returning. read more

I seriously question if the nail technicians have been trained on sanitary/health code violations! Using your own fingernail to push a clients cuticle back, is not only unsanitary, but also against state board regulations! I repeatedly asked the girl doing my nails to stop. I finally told her it was against state board regulations. She was rough as heck, made me bleed, didn't sanitize any tools, used a big brush to brush my hands off, and then brushed the desk off as well using the same brush. I hope this place gets inspected regularly, because someone is going to get sick. I for one will not be going back. read more

I've been to this place quite a few times and would've given it five stars were it not for a recent bad experience. I always get acrylics when I go and up until recently I have always gotten a superb job. I can be a picky person and the gel nails they do always look good. However I went recently the day before a holiday and they were busy but said they could still see me. The experience was very disappointing, I asked for square nail with normal polish. The nails were very uneven not to mention many splotchy spots on the sides of my nails. There was even a spot that had no top coat at all and it was very obvious. It was clear that my appt had been rushed from the beginning to fit more in. I came back in a couple of days to get my nails fixed. They were very accommodating and my nails looked absolutely great after someone took the time. If you are going to this place wait until they are not busy and pay the extra five dollars for gel because it's worth it! read more
