I love this place. This is my place to get my monthly pedicure usually done by the owners wife. However, today I went in around 650pm asked if they were still open and they said yes. Owners wife was in the middle of another pedi. The woman that did my pedi cut my big toe nails WAY too short, you can see my meat hanging out. I was overdue for my monthly service about 2 1/2 months, so yes my toe nails were a little long. She asked to cut them short, I said yes. Her meaning of short is way off. Maybe I should've said "trim" but I mean nobody would want them this short. I didn't get her name but she has short black hair, about ear length and tattoo eyebrows. Maybe she is new ??? because I don't recall seeing her there before. I will continue coming here to get my service but this time stick with the owners wife. Oh and I told her before she started polishing that she cut them too short and she didn't say anything. She compared both toes and again nothing to say and started painting. Wow this place has gone way down hill!! Dirty and not very sanitary. They do not use new utensils on each person but rather same clippers, files etc without opening new pack yuk! Moved here from LA so it's been hard finding a replacement of my usual nail salon, until now. I came in for the first time for just a gel manicure. Very relaxing theme & music. The nail technician was very detail oriented & although there was a language barrier, she was polite. She made sure to ask me if I wanted to cut or just file my nails (a lot of places just cut them without asking!) I switched from acrylic to gel manicure so I've been trying to grow out my natural nails. She was clean, precise, and focused. I am completely satisfied with my results!! I went today to get an acrylic black set in the oval shape. The lady hurt my hands the entire time and cut my actual mail a little too short. It took her forever to get the shape right and the it took forever for my nails to dry. She didn't even finish my nails and left. I was by myself for like 30 minutes. I left with my nails still a little wet and my hands were numb. I've only gone 2 twice and each time a bad decision. My wife recently went to this establishment for getting her nails done by an employee named Miley 3 days later one of the nails fell off. She went back again and saw an employee named Zenda who replaced the nail, but after 1 day it fell off. I am disappointed on the quality work that was supposed be done in the first place. The manager was very rude and unprofessional about the whole matter telling my wife that they were doing her the favor of replacing the nail free of charge. I was in awe hearing this and realized that they have to be using cheap products in the adheisive used to place the nails on. I dont recommend anyone going there for nail placement. By far the worst experience ever I started my experience with banh I explained that using regular nail clippers cause ingrown toe nails and he kinda just laughed and tried to do his thing I was trying to explain to someone who seems to be in charged the First Lady right behind the register who refused to give me her name who obviously had no idea what was going on cause she was talking about removing my ingrown toenails which I don't have they were very basic with my mother in laws and great mother in laws mani and pedicure( Felix pedi/gel mani-pedi) I came all the way from la to spend RELAXING Mother's Day and this was the WORST EXPERIENCE!!!! She filed my nails crooked so one side is much higher then the other and she basically painted not only the nail but also the surrounding skin on all sides. I just moved to California from Florida. I looked and called so many places asking if they did dip powder because that is what I always got when I was in Florida. Finally, I found Paradise Nails and decided to give it a try. (Fair warning: they do not have many options for Dip Powder, I would guess around 10 colors). I came in and they were initially very nice! Upon starting I told the Nail Tech that I needed tips on 2 of nails since they were very short and for the rest I wanted to keep them their natural length as they were longer. She put on the tips and then filed my nails. She went really fast and neglected to take her time or even ask me what shape I wanted. So now some of my nails are square, some are round, and some are square round. They are also all uneven lengths. Then she proceeded to dip my nails and when doing so a bunch of "wrinkles" appeared all over my nails. So, I told her and she said they would go away with the 2nd coat. I said OK. I've gotten dip powder done MANY times before and have NEVER had that happen. Then, after applying the 2nd coat my nails STILL had the wrinkles/lines again so I mentioned it again and she said, quote on quote "don't worry about it." Instead of fixing them properly by redoing them, she tried to file and buff them. Some of the lines did come out but others did not. So disappointed! I was so frustrated and wanted to leave so badly by then that I decided to let it go. Then when it was time to have my nails dry, instead of using the fan (like every other time I've used dip) she made my put my hands under the UV light. The entire reason I get dip powder is so that I don't have to put my hand under the UV light because I have very sensitive skin and nails and it hurts, and I also do not like the damage it can cause to my skin in the future. I asked if I could use the fan instead and she said, "no, put your hand under the light." Also, some of the sides of my nails do not even have polish, just the tops. Horrible. Needless to say, I will NEVER be back. If allowed for 0 stars that's what I would give them. read more

I got the deluxe pedicure and manicure, callus removal and gel nails. Compared to other places, they aren't cheap. But they do offer great customer service and one gets value for their money. I liked how I got to choose a formula from their menu. Other places will often try to sell you extra services as you go which ruins the experience for me. Not here. Everything is decided in the beginning and then you just relax and enjoy yourself... The whole experience was a whole lot better than the average nail studio. Here the employees care about what it is you want, they aren't constantly talking to each other in some other language, they make sure to ask you plenty times if everything is still according to your wishes... in short: they make you feel like a princess. I made an appointment for 4:00 pm at 10:00 am. The man I spoke with assured me that I would be guaranteed that time slot and would not have to stress over meeting my other obligations for the day. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was immediately disappointed. There was not a single person expecting or designated to me and when I told them I had an appointment, they sat me in their pedicure chair only to keep my feet running in cold water! I must've sat in that chair for about half an hour until I realized that there were 2 other women who have been waiting even longer (they had appointments scheduled for 3) to be serviced. If these people waited over an hour and still had nothing done, there was no way in hell I was going to waste my time for a business who doesn't seem to care about their reputation, products and services... or the lack of. I made another nail appointment (while seated in their pedicure chair) at a local competitor, grabbed my purse and walked out like any other lady with standards would. Although it says it's $$$ it's $35 for a deluxe pedicure which includes hot stone massage, scrub, mask, 15 min massage, a drink( canned soda, energy drinks, or smart water) and a few other things. The staff here really pay attention to you and can accommodate even the craziest nail requests. This place is also super clean! They use new tools on each person and you are sent home with them so you know they are never reused. Staff is really friendly. They are never speaking in a different language amongst themselves. The first time I went I was worried about changing salons...but it was worth it. I have been going here for about two years now. It is always clean, and respectable. I love Luis, and Long who are both very sweet. I have sensitive nails, and they pay close attention to my needs. They have a great memory. Also they pamper all their guests. They are curious, and prompt. There is a reason why they can get so busy sometimes, and that's because they are awesome. If you are uncertain there will be a line, and especially on the weekend or before a holiday, call and check if you need a reservation. I LOVE this place. Their prices are affordable. A major plus to them, they give neck warmers, and complementary beverages. I have not gotten the pedicures with them because I can't stand people touching my feet, but I hear their chairs and pedi's are amazing. Very nice people, but VERY poor quality. I usually look at yelp to see reviews before going into a business, however this visit to the nail salon was on the fly. My husband saw that my nails needed a little TLC, so when we were out running errands, he saw this place on the way to another store and drove right to it. First of all they quoted me $40 for a mani/pedi... no gel... Just regular polish. A man started the pedi while a lady worked on the manicure. She ended up finishing the pedicure as well. She did a VERY POOR job of filing (UNEVEN) and an even worse job of painting. Seriously my 11 year old could have done a better job. Very sloppy work. No attention to detail whatsoever. She didn't even paint the WHOLE nail. Also, she really rushed through it and my nails look like I've had them for a week, since she painted them so far away from the cuticle. I will never return here. They may need a lot more practice before accepting payment for their work. I had gotten the Deluxe Pedi & Mani. I believe the price was around $50, which is about the average price a mani/pedi package. It was my first time at this particular salon and I was amazed at the little details: the neck warmer & a free beverage. They also send you home with a little goody bag too. Instead of throwing away the nail filers & buffers and other unreusable items, they let you take it home. They also put in a pair of flip flops, if you forget to bring your own pair. I thought the good bags was a really good idea. The only downfall was the massage wasn't hard enough. I forgot who it was that gave me my pedi but he was being too gentle. I'm on my feet and move quite a lot at the job I do and I needed a real massage. It felt like he was just rubbing the lotion of my calves. They also pay attention on you and only you. I went in when it was a bit busy but the time I was in the chair, was MY time. There were a few moments where another employee needed help from the one helping me for translation but he apologized quickly. it wasn't a big deal to me, since the lady was just right next to me. Everytime he needed to get up or walk away (just to get hot towels for my feet/hands), he'd explain to me why and told me just to relax. I think this will become my new regular pedi place. read more

Red nasty gel nails...not only that, the guy who did my nails kept walking me through the process of what he was doing. This would have been fine if it was the first time applying gel nails but he was so repetitive that it make me feel STUPID. And on top that he had a nerve to rolled his eyes at me when I told him to add an additional coat of gel since my nails where to see through....it was very frustrating. No spa should make you feel this way. I used to love this place but it has changed. I have felt like they are just trying to get you in and out. The two last manicurist I have had, have done a bad job at trimming my cuticles and polishing the corners/cuticle edges of my nails. I have had repeatedly point out areas that need attention. Today was simply unacceptable, the girl hardly trimmed the cuticle in my hand nails. She was already applying the base polish and had not bothered to push back the cuticle and trim them. She hardly speaks English. When I asked her to please trim them, the other manicurist said that she trimmed them when I wasn't paying attention. When I showed her my cuticles, they agreed, then the girl got the electric sander to sand off the root of my nail and thus rid of the visible cuticles that grow over the nail bed.my natural nails are important to me and I don't want them to be sanded thin just because someone wants to speed up her job. I asked her to forget about the gel manicure and just leave my nails alone. The guy that runs the business said "don't worry, she will soak them, push back and trim."
