I contacted them in a rush a week before my daughter's prom for hair and makeup. I saw beautiful work done by the stylists based on pictures I saw on here...BOY WAS MY DAUGHTER HAPPY! It was a 95 degree day, and my daughter was offered a beverage right away. She had her hair done by Anna, who not only talked to her about what she wanted done, but gave her a magazine of up do styles to look through. My daughter had a headpiece also, and told Anna she wanted to wear her hair up for the prom and down for the after party. Anna showed her exactly how to take her hair down to preserve the curls. Danielle did her makeup and did a splendid job. Her makeup lasted for about 16 hours in the heat! She looked so pretty Most important, my daughter kept saying how much she loved her hair..three days later the curls were STILL in her hair and my daughter said...I have to find out what hairspray and products they used, bc her hair was soft, held its shape and not hard in the least bit. Bc of this, two new customers were won over...I had a brief color consult with Anna, and will be stopping by to get my hair done! My hair stylist had left the old salon I was going to so I was definitely in need of a new stylist but I didn't have much luck...I happened to see All About the Tress when I was on Grand Ave and liked the look of the salon so I went in and spoke with the stylist Anna, she was really nice and told me she would start me off with the special for the $18 wash and blow dry special...she sensed my apprehension and must've figured this would help to ease my fears....she was absolutely wonderful! She blew my hair out so nice, showing me new ways to style it...her salon is clean, nice and Anna is really knowledgable and seems to be passionate about what she does which is so important...The main thing that really made me pleased was that she focused on me the entire time I was in her chair, she wasn't running around trying to rush me in and out. I absolutely love coming here to get my hair done. After moving to Queens from Brooklyn, I had a hard time finding a hair salon/ stylist that I liked and trusted with my hair. I went to a few hair salons in Queens and just ended up making the commute to my old hair salon in Brooklyn. Then I met Anna and heard about her hair salon. I was extremely happy with how she cut, styled, and treated my hair and scalp. No more trips to Brooklyn for me! What a wonderful experience for both my daughter and I ! Greeted professionally and offered beverages upon walk in! Didn't have to wait long at all which is my favorite! The place is set up very cute and modern and everyone was extremely nice. Anna my stylist was so welcoming and so sweet! She cut my daughters hair (was my baby's first hair cut) and put on the cutest kiddie smock :) she made the hole experience so much fun for us both! To top it off she gave us a keep sake signed and sealed with her hair in it for memories! I fell in love! I would recommend this place to anyone. I was VERY stunned to hear Anna tell me she was willing to keep her salon open for an extra 2 hours just so I can get my hair blown out for a wedding I am attending the next day. I've never had a salon offer to stay open just for me!! Talk about impressive customer service. This was my first time at the salon and the place is stunning. The owners did an incredible job renovating the space. I just needed a blow out but after conversing with Anna, I'm very much looking forward to coming back for more services. I took my mother to get her hair done here as a gift because I heard great things about the place and know how picky she is. She went to get her hair roots dyed and hair trimmed. My mother loved her hair and was extremely happy, so I'm happy to see that! The hair stylist Anna, perfectly matched her hair color, trimmed it how she wanted, washed, blow dry, and some hair treatment. She loved the atmosphere of the salon, cleanliness, and the comfortable chairs. Staff was friendly and had nice couches to wait while my mother did her hair. Nice & modern hair salon in Maspeth! My new go-to salon. I booked an appointment for a blow dry and the day I went in, I asked the owner/hairstylist about conditioning treatments that could help my hair become more smoother. She recommended a great treatment and it was only 15 minutes and then I got a blow dry and my hair had already looked beautiful. She did the blow dry quick and created conversation and was super friendly along with the other staff members. I washed my hair four days later and when it was try it looked beautiful even without having to use a blow dryer. My hair looks silky smooth and I will definitely go back for more blow drys. read more

I've been coming to Anna since she first opened and I'll never go anywhere else ever!!! For starters it's clean an cozy with a dash of diva. Anna is honest an will not provide a service that won't look good just because you're paying for it. I feel like the prices are suitable for the quality of work you get. All top of the line products down to the shampoo an conditioner. Even awesome finishing products during the final blow dry. I have never walked out of there feeling anything less than gorgeous. I can not thank "All About The Tress" enough for saving my hair. My hair was so messed up from a previous salon. It looked like those bad ombrés from instagram, on top of the fact my hair was showing hints of green and was completely dead =( "All About The Tress" was able to correct the color and bring it back to life! I was really nervous about going to get my hair cut here because the last time I had gone to a salon the hair stylist really messed up my hair and gave me a cut I didn't ask for but Anna made me feel very comfortable and relaxed and she gave me exactly what I asked for.
