Stopped down on a Sunday evening around 5 PM to try this place out. Just ordered a single Patty as that is plenty for me. Service was super quick and the place is very clean. I thought my burger was very good. However, next time I would get less toppings so I could taste the burger better. I got lettuce, onion, and tomato but honestly with a very thin burger I think just cheese with some mayo would've been perfect for me. Did not care for their special sauce too much. I'm glad I got that on the side. The burger did have nice flavor to it also got a chocolate shake minus the whipped cream and sprinkle sprinkles. I enjoyed that as well. Parking stinks right now down there, but we lucked out and found a spot not far. It was kind of fun to go downtown and eat in that area. Would definitely go again.

I have had multiple good experiences at All American Burger downtown. I've had the smokin hot smash and the truffle smash. Coworkers have gotten the all American and the grilled cheese smash as well. The fry sauce is unique and I enjoy it. Instead of it trying to copy another establishment. The place is always very clean and staff has been friendly. The reverse osmosis water station is a nice touch. I think prices aren't bad for what you get. Definitely worth checking out for lunch downtown.

I totally was craving a burger while at Sonny's the other day so I finally tried this place and was not disappointed. Their burger's are absolutely delicious. I tried their classic burger with mostly everything on it and the fries are fire too but there really does need to be a note somewhere when ordering online that a burger comes with fries. I had multiple people in my group order a side of fries because we thought they didn't come with a burger. Inner rail is sooo crazy everytime I have to go in and regret it every time so if you are at Sonny's, do the order to table QR code so you don't have to endure the chaos! I definitely recommend this place if you are in Askarben and craving a burger!

Food was good and service was quick. A nice place to grab a quick meal while downtown in the corporate part of town. Little bit on the pricey side. Classic burger, fries and a soda nearly 20 bucks.

Was craving a burger and fries and been seeing lots of advertisements for this please. Decided to try it out and am very pleased! The fries were my favorite. The burger was great too. I got the All American smash burger and thought it was delicious! Next time, I want to try the Nebraska burger to see which one I like better. I went during the farmers market so it was really busy. Took about 20 mins to get my food. Not bad, especially for how packed they were.

A little pricy but dammit this burger is tasty! Not the biggest fan of crinkle cut fries but they get the job done. I got the one that mirrors the Big Mac and it was just like an elevated version of what you'd get at McDonald's.

Great service and great burgers. They use fresh jalapeños instead of the pickled ones.

For starters, we had the bacon-wrapped shrimp, which came with mushrooms on the side. It didn't look particularly appetizing when it arrived, but it was absolutely delicious. The mushrooms were especially good--salty without being overpowering, which I really enjoyed. To drink, I tried the sangria. It didn't particularly stand out, but it was still enjoyable. For my entrée, I chose the whiskey ribeye cooked medium-rare, and it came out exactly how I like it. The steak was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. The salad bar wasn't huge, but it had a nice variety of toppings to choose from. The atmosphere is rustic with very dim lighting, and there were a few TVs throughout the restaurant as well. It does get quite loud when it's busy, though. Our waitstaff was attentive without being overbearing, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will definitely be back.

The Drover has been an institution in Omaha since 1977. It's known locally for its…read morewhiskey-marinated steaks and old-time salad bar, and is a favorite for locals and tourists alike. But I'm not a huge fan. First, it's really, really dark and really, really noisy. Not a place for a conversation, especially if you are dining with kids. The salad bar is, well, meh. The tastiest part is the super sweet poppy seed dressing. As far as the stars of the show go, I've eaten several of their steaks. They've all been well marinaded and perfectly cooked, but the ribeye and strip had a lot of exterior gristle that should have been trimmed off before grilling. Meals come with a baked potato, and other sides are available. I wish creamed spinach and corn were options (it is the Cornhusker state, after all), but those are just my preferences. We made reservations weeks ago (we knew the College World Series would be in town) so we did not have the 2+ hour wait that less organized folks were complaining about. We were seated right away - yay, OpenTable! Service was very attentive, and our meal's timing was impeccable. Omaha has a lot of choices for carnivores, and The Drover is a long way from the worst I've tried. I'm just not not sure it's where I'll get my steak fix in the future.

My wife and I both ordered the Everett's #2 with pulled chicken, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. Everything just worked together perfectly. The chicken was tender, the slaw added the right crunch, and the bun tied it all together. It was one of those sandwiches where after the first bite you just look at each other and know you made the right choice. We also ordered the Saucy Rossy wings and they were the perfect heat level for both of us. Not so mild that they're boring and not so hot that you're suffering. Pro tip: get them fried and grilled. The extra texture and flavor are absolutely worth it. My wife is a total Brussels sprouts snob and she was absolutely in love with theirs. The funny part is that I'm usually not much of a Brussels sprouts person, but I kept asking for more off her plate. That alone should tell you how good they were. The fries were okay. Nothing that stole the show, but nothing to complain about either. The service wasn't the best during our visit, but they also had a 30-person table they were dealing with, so it was completely understandable. Even with that, the food was so good that it's already a top 3 meal for my wife. We'll definitely be thinking about those sandwiches, wings, and Brussels sprouts until we're back, and I don't think that'll take very long.

They argued with a doordash guy about how they packaged the desserts. They didn't man the contour or even know what was on there menu. It took three of the four employees to deliver us a mediocre customer service experience. I had to ask several time to get my drinks for my order. The kid who just took my order shrugged his shoulders when I asked for my drinks and walked away towards the back. I had to get one of the young ladies to help me but she stared as if she couldn't understand the words coming out of my mouth. She did one drink at a time and then would ask me again for the next one. The kid who took my order just hung out by the heat lamps talking to the cook. Preparation of the hotdogs isn't rocket science but neither of the two males was capable of putting the hot dogs together. In addition they had prepared desserts that where hard when my daughter's tried to eat her strawberry funnel cake. This wasn't just some kids being silly, what this was is poor supervision and education. I will go back but I will leave if the staff behaved the way they did this day.

I noticed a lot of newer eateries and businesses in Aksarben since the last time I was there, so hopefully some of them stick around a while. Anyhoo, on to Crispy Burger! First off, the interior is bright and colorful, with a lot of orange, red, and then an accent wall of black and white geometric shapes. It's a super welcoming vibe! One thing that's kind of weird is that the building (and Yelp and Google) says Crispy Chicken, but all the wrappers and signs say "Crispy Burger" which was confusing. The smells inside when you walk in make your mouth water, so get ready to over order if it's your first time here (we definitely did!) They have a LOT of fried things, like fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken, etc. So this definitely is not an every day place if you are looking for health food. We ordered the cheese sticks to start and they were enormous. Definitely shareable between a few people, as each cheese stick is like an appetizer in itself! I ordered the nuggets and fries, and they were really well breaded and pretty large. You can choose from about 1500 sauces for dipping (ok, maybe more like ten, but that's still a lot!) The fries were great too, that come as a side in your box. My husband had the bone in chicken wings combo, and he was very pleased with his choice. Gigantic wings, with fries, a biscuit, and mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. Now is Crispy Burger fine dining or somewhere you'd go on a date night? Definitely not. But it's nice, tasty food, for a pretty inexpensive price. So I would definitely recommend trying it out next time you're in the Aksarben area!
