While the general seating area is large I prefer the bar area to catch a sports game and wind down with a drink, or two. The bar has a feel of late 70's, they are geared up to make all of your favorite drinks as well as a selection of beer on tap. Wait staff is super nice, bartender is so friendly, a few regulars at the bar are up for good conversation too. The menu selections are vast, I've had something different each visit. Plenty of sandwiches, burgers and salad. A lot of their sauces are made in-house, such as their thousand island used on the Ruben. One of my favorite sides are the potato wedges, plenty of them and they are cooked and seasoned perfectly. I get to go orders often, never been disappointed. Make sure to grab one of their made in-house deserts, they are all amazing as well. Parking is in back, come in through the back door. Kitchen does not close early, they serve food up until closing time. It's never been too crowded, always find a seat or two at the bar. Goldbergs has been around for over 30 years, the building itself dates back to the early 1900's. Be aware, they are closed on Sundays.

There are a lot of booths that feel very private and tables sprinkled throughout along with some bar seating. There is outdoor seating as well although it's right on Dodge Street. Their menu is full of salad, burger and sandwich options with a few odds and ends thrown in. I've had many of the sandwiches and am always pleased with the portion and the flavor. All of the burgers and sandwiches come with kettle chips although they do offer a large variety of sides available at an upcharge. I always opt for the potato salad. We usually skip the apps as the mozz sticks seem to be just a basic frozen product and tortilla chips that can sometimes be stale. Servers have been efficient, never overly friendly but they get the job done. Now that I'm writing this, I'm leaning more towards 3.5 stars but it's a good spot for a quick, decent bite and some beer.

Was told it was more difficult but I had never attempted the previous version. This version consists 4 monstrous burgers off their menu including the Sickies Burger, Chowzilla, the Hangover and Twin Cam burgers, all surrounded by a huge pile of fries. Platter came out quickly, hot and delicious. I was able to take down their masterpiece in about 27 minutes. The entire staff was awesome and even loaded my boys up with free shirts for the victory.
