If you are a woman do not use this business! They wouldn't let me take sample home without a "sales appointment" so I agreed. In the home they quoted $17,000 to install 1300 square feet of LVP even though at the store on my first visit the salesman estimated $9000. Then they pretended to make some calls and miraculously got the price down to $11,000 - without baseboards included. I've had 3 other in-home. estimates with the same LVP with baseboards included and none were over $9000. They wanted to charge almost $10K just for the LVP which I already had priced at another supplier for $5K. Terrible experience! Dishonest company, poor management, have no concept of providing a high quality work nor good customer experience. They kept sending us modified quotes with different prices on each quote changing job descriptions and pricing. Thankfully we downloaded them as a proof of all the conflicting information. The final bill was increased significantly with charges we didn't even know existed. Treated us like we were their employees, we practically had to manage the job. Kept sending us group text messages with so many different workers that we didn't know who did what. The quality wasn't close to what a professional job should be. They require a 70% deposit upfront, despite showing little accountability or transparency. Hours after payment, I received a secondary disclosure, stating they aren't responsible for damages or incidents, and that there may be unspecified extra charges. I canceled within 12 hours and got confirmation for a full refund. Later, they changed their stance and withheld 35% as a restocking fee, despite no merchandise being delivered or received. This was our 2nd great experience w/ All American. They did a beautiful job installing LVP in the house and hardwood on the stairs. Ammar Joyner, sales person, was easy to work with and communication was great. Merdin, the project manager, made sure everything went smoothly and was a pleasure to work with, great communication. The selection of flooring options was fantastic, making it easy to find the perfect carpet for my upstairs and staircase, as well as a beautiful laminate for downstairs. Salesperson was Ammar Joyner who claimed to be a flooring specialist. Supplies were ordered for rosewood hardwood floors and the first day on the job was Friday 04/11 of which the group text verified it was a "one day job", contract verified that bedroom door needed to be trimmed and brick on the hearth of the fireplace needed to be cut to permit hardwood to slide under the brick. So therefore I would need a carpenter which Ammar agreed to absorb the cost not to exceed $100.00. Contractors arrived and seemed to have difficult interpreting the note so Muhamed Hadzic project manager came out to residence only to see my "one day " text as well as read the notes of needing a carpenter of which he grimaced a smile trying to suppress a laugh. I don't appreciate having smoke blown up my ass. Mohamed was taken off the job and given another assignment where Merdin was now the project manager. The job was actually a three day job of which my job and work schedule was inconvenienced. I should have followed my gut reaction and cancelled this contract. Saturday arrives and I am getting messages from Orlando, Awesome, Muhammed, Ammar and Fritz where I have yet to meet Merdin. There was no final walk through, I felt like I needed to babysit these imbeciles yet I reminded Fritz to put the hardwood under the brick of the hearth fireplace and I received a nod as well as "Si".. Much to my amazement Merdin did stop in Saturday unannounced and did not introduce himself so I set a new rule into effect that no one would come into my house without introducing themselves with a business card or identification card. For all I know Merdin might be mute as he did not communicate effectively and perhaps he just showed up for a siesta and beer at my house. Today I get a text message from Orlando asking if the brick was cut!. Well what does this tell you besides incompetence and associates not working as a team to complete the project. Just out of curiosity I got down on my hands and knees with a small ridgid wire to see if I could slide that wire down between the hardwood and the brick. Sure enough from the top of that hardwood board down to the concrete base floor which was evidence that I was lied to and they were dishonest with me. The hardwood was cut right where the brick hearth began. Not to mention the carpenter was never called for the job and the bedroom door was cut crooked. Not much to my surprise Orlando said he would caulk where the hardwood meets the brick and I responded "Like hell you well". Orlando bottom line was that he wanted too pass off a shitty job and put the stain down and collect the money. Dishonesty and manipulation all the way to the point where I contacted the financial institution where I took the loan and informed them to conduct an investigation as they had already been paid for an incomplete job where they did not follow the contract. Numerous inconveniences, dishonesty, arrogance unable to follow instructions on a contract and or to effective communicate let alone apologize. Monday the Collin County Building Inspector is coming out to look at the job along with a different contractor since All American Flooring has been reported to the Better Business Bureau and Ken Paxton. Buyer beware as the best consumer is an educated consumer. read more

Got engineered hard wood flooring installed with the wood also bought from here. Right after installation started to notice multiple planks having chipped ends, splits and cracks and more planks have started developing cracks. The contact given to discuss the issues was responsive and came down to check the cracks and splits in person and agreed the issues were a combination of bad planks and installation itself. A product this bad to develop cracks and splits in a month should not have been sold to a customer . Even with a 20 year product warranty I was expecting not to worry about my flooring for at least 10 years.Now it seems my newly installed floor is not going to last even 5 years. read more

These people are crooks --they did shotty work on my home cut an inch and a half off my stairs I would not fix them. They put a $22,000 lien on my home and didn't even tell me --we went to court and the judge said they would receive nothing. I'm trying to get a home equity loan, and I have been demanding that they remove the lien from my house. Their attorney won't even acknowledge the fact that they've been hired to do anything --do not do business with these people, they are crooks and criminals. I am furious they are not responding. I have an older very heavy area rug that needed cleaned. I had put away 100 dollars for the cleaning. I didnt have more than 100 and that's what they quoted me. It needed several cleanings because it was really dirty and they did all of them for the 100. At the end there was a small misunderstanding about the price but again, I only had 100. They said they didn't know what color that was and wanted me to come to their warehouse. Not everyone cares if it's light-light beige, or light beige, or just beige. We had a great experience from start to finish. I knew what carpet I wanted and got five bids from companies and also contractors and wholesale vendors around Collin County. They were nearly $1000 less than the closest bid- for just stairs! Scheduling was great- they were later than scheduled but gave me a 30 minutes heads up to get to the house, and they were speedy and respectful and left no mess at all. We found this company online. They were very responsive, prompt, and professional. We were truly impressed! #1. The quality of work is excellent. #2. Polite and easy to work with. #3. Very experienced (and it shows)! My dad is a realtor and he is planning to move to Allen soon. I am definitely letting him know to refer clients to this business. I want to do this review because I know that most people don't leave a review unless they have had a bad experience. This is quite a different story. We had been looking for flooring for so long the process was becoming a chore we were dreading. That is until the day we walked into All American Flooring. We were looking for laminate as we have an active dog and figured it was our best option. Erik the store manager at the Allen store was extremely knowledgeable and had an extensive variety of samples to help us out. He promptly came to our home, measured, and offered us a VERY fair all inclusive (with the exception of a couple things) quote that made our decision that much easier. Then came the installation. It took 3 complete days to do the 900 sq ft of product and with the exception of the team (2 guys) getting a somewhat late start each day, did a fabulous job! Their attention to detail was phenomenal! I saw them remove a small piece of debris that was on the floor in order not to have it under my flooring! Really? I'm not sure I would have done that and I'm fussy! Ruben and Tony, thanks for the awesome job you did on my home. My floor has a gorgeous, finished look and to the untrained eye, I'll bet it would be mistaken for a nice hardwood! Prices are good and salesman was nice. I contracted for a $14,000 job. The installers are decent at laying wood although I do still have a few boards that are not stuck down. They also didn't understand that the boards are PURPOSELY different lengths and they cut many of the long boards to make them match. The carpet went great but they didnt clean the slab and laid the new carpet on top of plenty of dirt. The tile installers are awful. The tiles are uneven in height, the gaps are not consistent, the grout is too low and cracking out. They also put my trim back wrong. They broke a few pieces and jammed it back in place and said it was that way before. I showed them pictures that I took before to prove it and they just changed the subject and left. They replaced one single tile when I complained about unevenness. They refuse to fix anything else. Overall I guess you get what you pay for and they were the cheapest. I bet Rodenbaugh's work would've been much better, but they were almost 3x the price. read more

We had hardwood floors put down a few years back from All American Flooring and they did an awesome job. We were near the store on Saturday Dec. 12th and stopped in and saw Erik and discussed getting our 4 bedrooms completed with Hardwood. Erik pulled up our information from 3 years ago and said they have that same hardwood in stock, he even remembered our house and new puppy. Erik came over on Monday morning and took all the measurement and gave us a great estimate. He arranged the installation for Tuesday morning so everything would be completed before our children came home for Christmas. On Tuesday morning Renee and two of his workers showed up right on time and they had the job completed by noon on Wednesday and it's PERFECT. If you're looking for great prices with quality work you have to give this place a try. When it's time to do the kitchen floors we'll be right back to this place!!!!! read more

This is my first time to use All American Flooring in Allen Texas and I have to say it was an awful experience. When they showed up at the house with the carpet they did not have enough carpet and they had to reschedule for another day to bring additional carpet. I had to wait another week for the additional carpet to complete the job. The manager over the carpet installation team did not want to give a discount for our inconvenience and he was extremely rude over the phone and super unprofessional, he severely lacked customer service. He said that we were inconveniencing him because he had to order more carpet, but they measured the carpet incorrectly in the first place. I wrote the store manager about the situation and he agreed to give us a discount through email and over the phone, but when I checked with my bank, I was charged the full amount, so they completely went back on their word. The carpet installation team was very nice and cordial and did a good job, but the sales and management was terrible. I do not recommend you use All American Flooring in Allen Texas, stay away from them there are much better carpet companies out there. read more

Everything might have worked out except we had a problem, the floor began chipping. We called, it took some time for someone to call us back. We were told we'd be called back the next day, no call, so I had to call them. All in all it took several calls and no call backs, a call to the owner, a threat of my attorney, and persistence on my part to get anything done. Frustration! read more

I visited the Allen store today. I asked if they do repairs on engineered wood flooring and he said yes for 125.00 per plank. This is ridicules! I will never use this company. Prices were very reasonable and the extras such as removing old carpet, moving furniture, and hauling the old stuff out was included with no extra charges. Extremely unprofessional so unprofessional I cannot believe they are in business! This review is not in regards to the salesmen his name is Yasir and he is very kind and professional but after that everything went downhill. The owner and co-owner are a joke. We actually lost money working with them because we stayed home from our own business waiting hours for them to come more than twice. They left a mess and we had to pay to get a painter to come out the paint on a part of our trim that did not have to be painted. The owner totally ignored us when we asked what he planned to do about that they lied over and over again I have never experienced anything like this. the co-owner contacted us on speakerphone with the person they had sent out to do the job and they were actually laughing Over the phone. Threatened to put a lien on our property instead of trying to negotiate paying us for the business that we lost having to deal with their consistent tardiness sloppy work. They actually had to send another contractor out to try and fix the problem which meant they tore everything up again made another mess and we had to hire another cleaning crew to clean up the dirt . Told us they end up firing the initial crew they sent out and that they had had issues with them in the past so why did you continue working with them if he had issues with them in the past? They did a good quality job and pricing is very competitive. The sales person and the installation crew are also very courteous.The hardwood floors look great. I am giving them 3 stars because they are "extremely" unreliable with respect to keeping up time for installation process. I wasted a day taking off from work waiting from them. Time is money and you end up wasting a lot of time as they don't show up when they promise they will and keep giving excuses which don't make sense. I guess you get what you pay for. I recommended them to my colleague before my work was done and they wasted his time lot more than mine and his house was a mess for a long time since he did more areas than mine. If they had a smoother installation process I would have got more work done as their installers do a very thorough job, but need to show on time. I'm giving them a 2 star rating because we have used them before and loved their work, however, we just had them add laminate to our stairs and are very upset with the quality of work. The stairs look like a non professional installed them. They left a hole in one of the stairs. We had them come back out and they fixed everything, but it's not great. I think we definitely would have been happier with another company. The caulking lines have to be redone by my husband. They also left a huge mess in my garage that we had to clean up, used my guest bathroom to empty their water buckets and left a mess and used my kitchen broom and destroyed it. (not sure how, but I had to go buy a new one) Like I said, I've used them for several other projects and things were great, just not this time and I will not be using them again. read more

My experience with All American Flooring in Allen was an overall awful experience. First, the sales guy came to my home to measure. We spoke about some loose floorboards and he spoke about how they could fix that when they remove the carpet. When the installers came to my home, I let them know about the loose boards and requested they screw down. After installation was complete, I realized they did not fix any floorboards! When I spoke with the sales guy, he made all sorts of excuses as to why it was not done but ultimately blaming me for "not reminding him" when we were filling out the paperwork, coming into the showroom too many times (3x), and other various excuses. The problem with all this is that he was in my home, with a piece of paper, and should have written this down while he was taking measurements. He said this would have been an extra charge to fix. Well, gosh, that's fine. I'm willing to pay. Luckily, after threatening to withhold payment, the installation manager sent someone out to fix the most severe issues, but the overall house still has multiple loose boards. If you choose to use this company, get EVERYTHING in writing. All of it. Even if it seems obvious. Ask what happens if they fail to fulfill part of the contract. Whatever answer you receive, make sure that is also in writing. When it's said and done, the sales guy will blame YOU for any mistakes he makes. read more
