FORD EDGE TITANIUM ECO-BOOST I had the pleasure of working with Stephen Kaye (Mate) as a salesperson & George Villafane in finance at All American Ford, Old Bridge, NJ. Between Mates English Accent & George's New York and ever so slight Puerto Rican accent, it was like talking to two gentlemen right out of a movie! I honestly could have spoken to them all day. In less than 24 hours I felt like I gained 2 new friends. I stumbled on a Certifyed Pre-Owned Titanium Blue Ford Edge on the internet that happened to be at All American Ford of Old Bridge, which is 10 minutes from my home. I called and my appointment was for after work, I did not arrive until an hour later then my scheduled appointment, which was close to closing. (gotta love the Garden State Park-in-lot, I mean Parkway)! I work in Bergen County, but live and purchased my vehicle in Monmouth County. Mate was so friendly, honest, respectful and the least pushy car salesperson I have ever dealt with. He gave me his opinion of what we could do with the numbers, (finance dept. was closed by this point). I drove the vehicle, inspected the interior/exterior and made an offer. Mate did not require any money down to hold the car until my husband could see it the next day. True to his word, the internet ad was removed and the car was not in plain sight on the lot. I went back the next day with my husband, we were not even there 2 hours. We worked with George in Finance who was just as awesome as Mate! The Full Warranty was pennys on the dollar for this Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle. When all was said and done, for a very insignificant amount more I purchased a warranty as if it was a brand new car for 5 years or XXXX miles! We walked in the door at 9:30 am & were back home by 12:30 pm with my new vehicle. George went above and beyond comparing the diffent cost of the specific warranties offered on this car, right down to the exact date the previous owner purchased the vehicle. This in itself gave me an additional 9 months at no extra cost to me since it was originally purchased in the first week of March. Beyond that, I had several approvals with different interest rates. George was so knowledgeable and patient while explaining his opinion of which finance company we should use and why. We were given a good lesson on why the very lowest rate is not always the one to choose. The fine print on APR's I never paid attention to was explained in full detail, a couple of times because I was having difficulty grasping this. Again, George was so knowledgable and patient. Never have I ever experieced a finance manager as patient and friendly as this gentleman. Lastly, I would like to say, I have purchased many vehicles in my life, some great experiences, some not so great. All American Ford in Old Bridge reminded me of my own place of employment, where we are more like one big family rather than co-workers. The eye contact and silent bantering going on between the sales people, finance, receptionist, and service guys did not go unnoticed. It was evident they truly were a close group of collegues who enjoyed working together and assisting in their area of expertise. I wanted to hang out there in this high energy, fun environment. With this said, I had the pleasure of dealing with Stephen Kaye (Mate) and George Villafane for my finance/warranty and my entire experience was nothing short of excellent! I would describe it as a fun time with very friendly, knowledgable, down to earth employees at All American Ford in Old Bridge, NJ. If you are in the market for a Ford, IMO, this is the dealership you want to bring your business to! I had been patronizing a Ford Dealership located in Morristown NJ since 2005. During 2014 I decided to purchase a car from the Morristown Ford Dealership and about 6 months into my financing come to find out they sold me a car with a broken head casket. So now I had to take days off work to try to get them to fix it. Morristown Ford Dealership tells me I did not purchase extended care coverage. I tell them I did. I had to drive 30 miles home and 30 miles back to the dealership. I show them my paper work and they said okay we will fix it free of charge. Seven months into my financing the radio goes. I take the car back to the Dealership. They are not going to fix it free of charge because the radio is not covered under your extended coverage. They said if you want to fix your radio it will cost you $800.00. One year into my financing the steering assist fails. Called up the towing company and had my car towed to Ford Morristown Dealership. They said $1,700.00 to fix. Okay fix the car. It took them a week to fix my car. I picked up my car, drive around to the front of the dealership and notice the cover to my battery is missing and my engine cover is missing. I called the police at that point. The Ford Dealership in Morristown replaced all of my covers and at that moment I knew I had to find another Dealership. I travel for work and recieved an assignment in Old Bridge. I pulled up my Yelp app and found All American Ford and decided to give them a try. I called All American Ford and spoke with an outstanding customer service representative by the name of Renee. My former Ford Escape was only two years old. When my lease was up I had to do something about it. The only issue with it was the high mileage that I had incurred using it to commute to and from work each and every single day of the week. Hence I had the option of either buying my old car, or signing up for a new lease. Both were difficult to consider due to my credit score being much less than great at this time. Yet, being an all Ford guy myself, I knew that only an equally good Ford could replace my Ford. All of these obstacles did not stop us from having an excellent experience at All American Ford of Old Bridge NJ. I'm a returning customer at All American Ford in Old Bridge for a reason. I've dealt with a number of dealers over the years and find All American the easiest and less stressful to deal with. This also includes reviewing my paper work after the deal signed for any back door tricks. I've had questionable experiences with the Ford dealership close to my house, so am willing to drive out of my way to deal with All American of Old Bridge. I originally contacted Karen S in Internet Sales and told her exactly what I wanted. I wanted to return an Explorer lease early, sell them my Wrangler, and then lease 2 Ford Edge Sports with specific configurations. When I got to the dealership I dealt with James Cassidy in the Commercial Truck Center, although my vehicles are for personal use, who took the time to understand what I wanted before I got there. He was very knowledgable and stayed on point with what I wanted, never tried to any questionable sales tactics. I did my homework and had numbers I was willing to accept for my Wrangler before I went to the dealership. All American came back with similar numbers. I was even able to get a credit for the Explorer because I had equity in it. Frankly, the whole process was smooth and the atmosphere was professional yet comfortable. All American Ford (Old Bridge) provided a smooth and easy experience during a recent lease of a 2015 Ford Fusion SE. This is the second vehicle in 2 years I have leased through my salesperson, Jamie Thalor, and in both instances he was honest and knowledgeable in helping me to select a vehicle that fit my family's needs. The management and finance department also were instrumental in delivering a pleasant experience. In fact, I decided to return my Cadillac CTS which was at the end of it's lease term in exchange for a second Ford vehicle. Ford has done a tremendous job in the past several years in delivering a quality product. More importantly, however, my previous experience at All American Ford was so satisfying that I opted to forego a "luxury" brand. I have received better quality of service from this dealership than from my Cadillac dealership. I contacted Jamie at 7:30pm on a Friday indicating my needs. He scheduled an appointment for 9:30 the following day. I arrived, selected a vehicle, had a test drive, signed the papers and was back home in less than 3 hours. This is what a car buying experience should be like. Jamie and All American eliminated the hassles and wasted time typical of many car buying experiences. I recently had an issue with my 2018 Ford Explorer. I decided to go to All American Ford in Old Bridge New Jersey for service because I did not care for the dealer that I leased it through. I am so happy to have found this place. I couldn't say enough good things about this dealer. It was an incredibly great experience. It is so organized and clean and the staff is wonderful. My service person Karen took care of me and was so nice and so efficient. She was a pleasure. I explained that I would be absolutely lost without a car...(my husband had recently passed away... so I would not have any form of transportation without my car). She then sent a very nice man named Pat to me and he set up a loaner car for me immediately. I was then sent to Devon at the loaner/rental counter and was taken care of in a few minutes. I don't think I have ever seen a better run, efficient and friendly car dealer in my life. My car is now running perfect. My husband and I have been going back and forth between the Nissan Murano and the Ford edge. After leaving the Nissan dealership we headed over to the Ford dealership where we were greeted by many friendly people. The one who helped us was Kurt Salzman. Both my husband and I were very pleased with Kurt. He is by far a wonderful asset to Ford. One of his many qualities as a car salesman is that he had a positive attitude regarding the American Ford dealership and the Ford product itself. He was Assertive without offending, being pushy or frustrating my husband and I. He knows how to listen, which was to satisfy our needs, along with answering all our questions with confidence and knowledge. Went into ford today just to get the battery in my key fob changed, and had a question about how I could possibly get my car looked at in the future. The man in the parts department, Kyle, was very attentive to me and offered someone to look at my car right then and there and take it for a test drive to make sure nothing was wrong with it. Marlon, took my car for a test drive to make sure it was working properly and we got onto the subject of me possibly having a recall on the vehicle. When we got back to the dealership he checked everything out immediately and fixed the recall within a matter of 20 minutes. No apt whatsoever, I didn't call ahead of time, and they were clearly busy, however they both took the time to go above and beyond for me. My first visit to All-American was intended to be purely window shopping-- browsing. I needed a new car, but not immediately, and I shared this with the sales team. They were respectful of this, and were helpful but not pushy in any way. I was immediately impressed by their inventory of Subarus, the friendliness of the staff, and the time my sales person, Burt, spent with me. After test driving a few vehicles, I decided on a 2016 Impreza ( it was love at first test drive!). After running the gauntlet, which I've learned is more common than not, in finding a Ford dealer who can effectively service my truck I decided to give AAFOB a try when my truck was ready for a milestone service and there were a couple issues that needed to be corrected. In my past dealings with other dealerships and vendors in the area I experienced various nightmare scenarios ranging from extensive damage upon return to extreme price gouging (attempted). I landed myself in Rachel Curry's office at AAFOB where my service needs were met so well to the point where I made it my business to make a yelp account and to right a review! Had major steering wheel shaking on 2007 Mustang when gently applying brakes at any speed. And, at 65-70 the shaking in the steering wheel was constant. The team at All American diagnosed the problem. The rotors were warped and resurfacing did not help. They did a complete front brake job and that corrected the problem. They also high speed balanced all the wheels (after a bad pot hole winter in NJ). The car rides better at high speed and there is no vibrations when applying the brakes. My daughter is the primary driver and safety is my major concern. Special thanks to Pat Townsend in the Service Department for treating this problem like it was his own vehicle for his own daughter. read more

AVOID at all costs. Extremely unprofessional. Came here to buy a raptor back in June 2021. Customized it and agreed to pay 10K above MSRP. So the vehicle goes into production in September and the sales rep calls me to tell me the market price is now 20K above MSRP. I say ok let's ink the deal then so you don't come back with another price jack btw now and 6 weeks from now. They refuse to sign the PO, I went and bought another one on the lot in another dealer the next day. Paid much less for practically the same car and the sales process went smooth like butter. Needless to say, the manager at this location isn't the smartest cookie in the jar. read more

On June 27th we brought our 2014 Subaru Forrester in for a brake switch replacement recall. My husband mentioned the driver rear coil spring broke as well. He wanted a price to repair regardless of the fact this appears to be a problem area with our model. Our serviceman Lawrence Chan called us a few hours later and informed us the recall part was completed and they are covering the coil spring replacement through Subaru corporate. After taking the day off from work, I headed out to visit the dealership.
