After bringing my truck in for routine service. I asked for the service department to check my transmission for some problems. After telling me he would need it for a couple days to diagnose, I left it for 4 days not hearing anything I called and was told they didn't have time to look at it and needed a few more days. I went to pick it up because I needed my truck back. They said I needed tires and brakes also. I would have had no problem doing that if they just looked at my transmission which is under warranty. I am local and bought many vehicles there when it was the previous dealership. So I bought this truck from All American and this is how you are treated after purchasing. If I could give this place negative zero stars I would! The customer service reps are liars and don't give a flying hoot for their customers once they take the keys out of your hand. We dropped our RV off for brake service on a Tuesday, and then all communication stopped via text or phone calls. We were told before we handed over the keys that we would have our RV back on Thursday or Friday, and they would call on Wednesday to let us know what they had found. They lied!! When we called on Friday to find out what was going on, we were told not to call; they would call us when they looked at it and have a nice weekend! Still no reply to text on the following Tuesday and when we called on Wednesday, 8 days later, my husband was told the same thing I was told and I quote, "I told your wife that we would call you when we looked at it" and the service guy Matt was not only condescending he was also annoyed that we had called again. We promptly found another place to service our RV and when we went to pick up the RV from this place, All American, all they did was hand my husband the keys, and said nothing! If I could give this dealership a negative star, I would. Once you purchase an extended warranty, forget absolutely everything the salesperson has told you. Canceling it and getting a return of money is a nightmare. Despite several messages left, I can not get anyone to return my call. Mind you, this is after jumping through hoops and canceling the warranty with Ford directly. Well Once again had All American Service try to rip us off- took the 2015 Ford Explorer in under 2mths ago did 3-4 recalls & were having a problem with the Transmission not engaging- they had the truck for 5 days- cost us $750.00 and guess what My transmission is still not engaging. Made an appointment and went to drop off the car & Matt told us it would cost us $150.00 to just have the car looked at. To say we had a terrible experience here was an understatement. Aside from the typical "scammed into an overpriced lease" story - every person I've spoken to trying to get this unreliable death trap off a car off my hands has been incredibly rude and unhelpful. I called this week trying to schedule a time to return my lease only to be met with a prompt "leave the keys in the lockbox, *click" I drove 2 hours to do just that, and received a phonecall from a very unpleasant sales manager on duty who threatened to have my car repossessed, for returning it to the dealership... where I was supposed to return it. I asked a plethora of questions only to be berated and harassed asking why I would ever return a lease without an appointment, which I was directed to do by their staff I called back and spoke to someone else named Bernie who wasn't entirely pleasant but managed to calm his temper long enough to let me finish a sentence and the issue was resolved after *4* painful phone calls. Safe to say the trip I had planned to lease another car from Ford has been cancelled and I'll make sure all of my shore neighbors know to do the same. Word of mouth goes very far in a town like point pleasant and I would advise for the employees of this establishment to have a long and thorough refresher meeting on the proper way to speak to other human beings, especially when they have given you thousands of dollars. read more

I was charged 695.00 for "MVID - Etching" when I purchased a "used" car. Read your contract closely. Etching should NOT cost this much and it's optional. I made the mistake of not reading my contract closely and paying it. I then found out the "MVID - Etching" was NEVER DONE on my car. This was verified by both the All American Ford Service Center and a local Kia Dealer. All American Ford over charged me for a service they NEVER DID. TRUTH-I called TIM ORLAND, service manager, five times and STILL, to this day, have not received a call back. You did not offer to secure funds for a rental. TRUTH-You told me to pay for it all and then I would be reimbursed after when the backorder part isn't coming in until December. WHY would I refuse a working car? Over 2 months my truck sat here while getting "fixed" had a bunch of work done so I could see it being a process to do but over 2 months is just ridiculous, especially when you told me it would only be a week or 2 at most. Now I finally got to pick my truck up Memorial Day weekend to only drive 1 block and my check engine light comes on and I lose power causing the truck to stall out (real safe losing power while driving). So I bring it back and I specifically told Al I needed my truck back in 1 day because it's ridiculous it isn't fixed correctly, if the tech would of just taken it for a test drive he would of seen the check engine light come on. Waited another entire week which brings me to today. I got dropped off for a third time now to get my truck. I get in and go exactly 1 block again to only have the same exact problem happen again!! The fact you guys don't take vehicles for test drives really pisses me off. Now I've taken multiple time off work and multiple trips 40 mins to this dealership to only pick up a broken truck every single time. When I originally picked it up the first time also I noticed a lug nut was missing from my front wheel. Seems lack of attention to details or just lack of not caring at all. If they would of taken my truck for a test drive at least one time they would of realized it wasn't fixed. Don't bother with their Service Dept either! Called 3 weeks in advance for an appointment for service that was on a Ford recall. Dropped Explorer off at 7:55 AM for what I was told would be a "couple of hours" to complete the recall repair. Specifically told them when I made the appointment that I needed the car back which was why I made the appointment well in advance. They assured me that it would be done in a day. I went to All American to look at a specific truck that had been on their lot for about 7 months. I liked the truck and took it for a test drive. When I got back to the dealership, the salesman greeted me with, "A guy in Texas just bought this truck. We have a deposit on it but if you want it you can have it, but you have to tell me now." After 7 months on the market, he really expected me to believe some random person that lives 1500 miles away just happened to buy the truck while I was out on my test drive? I don't think so. I walked out, and a week later the truck is still for sale on their website. Even if that story was true, it would be wrong to accept his deposit then sell the truck to somebody else afterwards. In addition to that dishonest sales tactic, they also lowballed my trade-in (about 20% below the KBB trade-in value) and refused to negotiate a single penny on both the price of the truck and the value of my trade. A car dealership that refuses to negotiate pricing... No wonder the vehicle has been sitting there for 7 months. I visited two other Ford dealers in the area - Larson and Seabreeze - and had much better experiences. read more

If you go to this dealership bring some Vaseline and have your attorney on speed dial. (you'll need the Vaseline for every trip there) when you show up all they see are dollar signs. They do not, absolutely DO NOT give a flying F* about you as a customer at all. They will do anything to shove you out the door and shut you up, including straight up ignoring you. To solve this I highly recommend you wait to take your survey and if you are not treated like a king or queen or think there is a single thing they can do better, have your survey reflect that. I am currently having a very terrible experience with this dealership. I made a deposit payment on a 2020 Ford Ranger Lariat on Tuesday, the 24th of August 2021 to one guy on the sales team called John Getta. On the day I made the payment, I was not given a sales receipt or Bill of sale or any document acknowledging payment at all. These were documents that I was entitled to by law. On that day, I also told him that I will be coming to the dealership with the full payment by check either on Saturday, 28th August, or early the following week. I told him that if I wasn't able to make it for any reason on Saturday, I will communicate that with him and he said it was ok. On the 25th of August, I contacted John asking for the copy of my payment receipt and he responded with "I'll send you the first thing in the morning im off today." These were his exact words. On the 26th of august, at exactly 9.07am, I sent John a message asking for the documents he promised sending "first thing in the morning." He read the message and ignored it completely. I sent another message at 9.44am saying "pls acknowledge." He responded with "yes I'll send you a receipt I just got into work can I at least sit down first." I didn't respond to his rude comments. I sent him another reminder 10.35am. which he also ignored. He finally sent me a copy of the receipt at 11.51am. On the 28th august, he gave me a call asking if I was still coming to make the full payment and I responded that I would not be able to come because the funds had not cleared in my bank account at the time, but we both agreed that I would be at the dealership on the 31st of august with the check covering the full payment for the truck. On 31st of august as agreed with John, I was at the dealership office with the company check for the full amount. I met John and he took me to the accounts officer of the dealership. I presented the check to the accounts officer him and he informed me that only certified checks were acceptable for payment. The account officer told me that I could come back the next day with a cashier check which is much more acceptable, which I agreed to do. Unfortunately and irresponsibly, on my way to the dealership this morning, the 1st of September, with the full amount for the payment in form of a cashiers check in hand, I got a text message from John at exactly 8.54am that the truck had been sold to another buyer the previous day and that a check for my refund of the deposit would be sent to my address on file. After a lot of back and forth with John on why the truck was sold, and on why I was not informed of their intention to sell off the truck the previous day despite my deposit and efforts, I decided to call the company directly and I was connected to the General Manager. I narrated my whole ordeal to him. Ofcourse the General Manager had defenses for their dealership's unprofessionalism and irresponsibility. But nevertheless, to his credit, he agreed with me that I should have been given the receipt and bill of sale on the day I made initial deposit. He also agreed with me that I should have been given a refund of my initial deposit on the 31st August, when I presented a company Check that they rejected. They acquiesced to their right of resale when their account officer also assured me that the transaction would be concluded if I presented a certified check the next day. But here we are, I followed through with all of my commitments but what did the dealership do? They Sold my truck to someone else without any notice or warning. Anyways, at the end of our conversation, the GM promised to look into the dealership's actions and unprofessionalism and get back to me with his findings and decision within 24hours. To his credit he was a very patient and listening person. so let's see how this spins out. Places like this give used car salesmen a bad name. I called and spoke with a salesman about a vehicle I was interested in. He informed me the price advertised didn't include (among other things) the $340 "restoration fee" (which is also taxable) nor the $359 documentation fee(also taxable).Since he appeared to be in a rush not to explain what the restoration fee was, I questioned it. He replied that it's the fee to clean the car and make it presentable. Seriously? Isn't that part of the dealership's responsibility rather than gouging a potential buyer? So along with that fee and all the other costs, the $7,400 car I was interested in turned into an $8,800 out- the- door price tag. Quite a difference and quite disgraceful. I went for some routine maintenance that your car needs at XX,000 miles. They call me back saying that my car needed almost $2k worth of work done on it. I have a family friend who's a mechanic and I always get a 2nd opinion from him. For years he's told me that this shop is the real deal. Michelle in internet sales negotiated a fair price over email/phone, I drove up from Maryland and completed the sale with Dave and everything went as previously discussed. Hello, I write this out of frustration, in 2019 I brought two cars from All American Ford in Point Pleasant, recently I had trouble with one of them and called to verify the parts were covered by the warranty (ESP/Premium care), Matt the service writer told I could look it up on the paperwork when I brought the car, I stated I was at work and did have the paperwork with me and the car was at another shop and they felt it would be covered by the warranty. Matt stated it would take a couple of minutes to look up my warranty and he would call me in 15 minutes. Over the next 3 plus hours, I called back several times trying to speak to Matt with no luck, so I finally asked to speak to a manager, I was connected with Tim and Tim stated Matt was busy and that he would call me back at the end of the day when had time. I asked Tim why wasn't I of concern and Tim state "there had to be at least 50 people in the service area", I asked Tim again just because I called in that does make me any less of a customer, the answer was yes because I was not standing there I didn't really count. The sad part is that when I brought the cars they told me about their "Legendary" customer service, I wouldn't call this level of service "Legendary". Interesting both George Wall Ford and Freehold Ford looked up my Warranty in about 6 minutes while keeping me on the phone. I made an official complaint to Ford, but no one has called me back to date. I am currently shopping for a new car and have to buy another car within 9 months, guess where I won't be going, at this point they may not even be Ford's, sad because I have owned Ford's all of my life as well as my father. Brought my Ford truck there due to a vibration as it was close to work and I was concerned that it was in the engine and thought Ford would be best suited to service. Turned out to be a misfiring cylinder and a bad coil. (Later I found out this issue is common with the EcoBoost engine. Service manager called me around 11, advised of the problem and advised it would be $880 to repair. They also tries to replace front brakes which I was just told had 6-8k mile left on them from a trusted mechanic who replaced the rears. After getting my truck back I spoke to a friend who had nearly the same work done at a different shop and paid significantly less. After I heard that I looked at the prices they charged for the parts and they are available from ford through retailers for 40-70% less than All American charged. Called the service manager back and asked him about it and said it is what it is. He even confirmed marking one item up from $70 cost to them to $125 charge- without labor. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! Had a 2013 FORD ST there for over a month. They could not diagnose the vehicle correctly. Advisor Scott gave the vehicle back with the same concern. Now they avoid all calls. They say vehicle will be done in 3 days. 7 days later, now it's going to be another 4 days. Horrible customer service. When the service manager was told what what was going on. He said he will take care of it. Now a week a half later and nothing is done! Is this how Tim the manager handles stuff? Leaving customers waiting for a call back. No updates, having no idea what his advisors are doing. He has no control of his shop and doesn't know what's going on. Then he'll tell you he'll handle it to get you off the phone. Nothing is resolved still! Do not go here for service. Techs don't even know how to diagnose properly: and when they do.. they take weeks!
