Kept seeing them pop up on my DoorDash with a delicious looking Cuban, finally gave it a go and I'm super happy I did. The bread is so toasty and crispy and the Cuban has so much flavor in the pork and perfect crunch and brine with the pickles. Def recommend giving that sandwich a go. The seasonal chicken melt was great too, the hot sauce is the perfect add to the sandwich to make it one more step up of flavor. My wife and I checked out AAH today and it didn't disappoint at all. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. My Cuban sub hit every mark for me except I wish it was pressed. Other than that it great. Every bite delivered pork, pickles and mustard. My wife really enjoyed her club sub. The family and I have been wanting to try this place for a couple of months now. Their website says they're open on Saturdays but when we stopped by one weekend, they were closed. Google seems to have the updated hours which are 11am-6pm Monday-Friday. The Wife and I stopped by this past Friday for lunch, anticipating some sub greatness but were appalled when we walked in. Aside from the plexiglass shield with the hole in it between you and the cashier, there doesn't seem to be any Corona protocols in place. They don't require customers to wear masks. It's already a small place on the inside AND they're not enforcing social distancing either so folks can be all on top of one another. But that's not the worst part......none of the employees were wearing masks nor gloves. I watched as the guy was making a sandwich bare handed. Nah, I don't think I will have a COVID sandwich with lettuce and tomato. I told my Wife we were leaving. Honestly, I was astonished. I haven't seen a food spot ever be this relaxed this deep in the pandemic. They may have great food but I'll never know cause I refuse to take those kinds of chances during these current times. read more

I asked about the military discount, and the girl at the register asked another lady who said no we do not have a military discount. As I was waiting on my sandwiches to be made I overheard that same lady stating no I'm not giving a military discount, my military neighbors live way better, and are the reason the rent being increased. I get it how you have the freedom to feel that way (for obvious reasons) however you want to feel about the income level or housing allowance level of the military. I also get the Military side from being in the service for 22 years, and you are not getting any equity in any property for any amount of time. Every 2, 3 or four years you're moving around. Besides the way the owner or co-owner felt I should not have heard that, keep those conversations to yourself and those opinions to yourself especially when you call yourself all American heroes and have a sign out front that says we love our service members. Today was the fifth time patronizing this establishment. Each previous visit I was highly satisfied with the same delicious sandwich: the Cashew Chicken sandwich was thick and delicious. However, today they have a young guy preparing the sandwiches. When they handed it to me, I noticed it was about one half the weight of the other times when a middle aged lady made it. I got to my car and inspected it. Sure enough, this young preparer, who doesn't even wear gloves to prepare the sandwiches, did a poor job. I went back in and complained to the three young people, "either make the sandwich right, or refund my money." They all looked at me incredulously and claimed that's all the ingredients they are required to put in the sandwich! I told them if I'm going to pay $8 for a sandwich, I don't want a $4 one made. Much to my anger, they refused to make the sandwich the way it normally is, but refunded my money! Fortunately, I was informed the lady who makes good sandwiches will return next week. The young people today make a very cheap sandwich. Further, they argued that not wearing gloves was "not required" and still sanitary. I totally disagree. New to the area, i found this business through a google search. I looked over their online menu & placed an order for my family & I. Based on the online prices my order should've rang up around $25. So it came to a surprise when my total was said to be $42! When I questioned this, i was told that the prices had changed & the website wasn't accurate. The subs were really good! Best Sandwich Shop Around!! We are vacationing for a week in Navarre Beach and our kiddos were craving a grilled cheese and chicken sandwiches...let it be known, we have picky eaters. And man, did this place come thru for us! Our littles requests were not on the menu, but the very kind and understanding staff told us not to worry and made it happen. My better half got the chicken salad sandwich and after eating it all apologized for not letting any one else try it, as he stated it was so delicious, "he couldnt stop." Went to this place for lunch one of our first days ever in Navarre. Don't plan on eating in if you have more than two people, and even then, if there are 4 other people in the shop, you're getting it to go. Very small space, so I bet the locals wish they would expand! Even though it's in the name I wasn't expecting such an over the top military theme, which I guess isn't uncommon so close to Pensacola. They definitely support the troops at AAH. I love sandwiches so it was very hard for me to pick a sandwich. I ended up going with the Baja Chicken, which I did not regret. It was tangy and mostly well balanced, but I do remember there being a lot of lettuce. The pasta salad I had on the side was also pretty good. Came at the lunch rush on a Saturday with an order for 10 Sammie's. They were rockstars. The sandwiches were amazing and they were very kind with my big order that was placed in the middle of their lunch rush. It took about 20 min to get all the Sammie's made which I was impressed by. I tried AAH for the first time, today. The Bhan Mi is THE BEST sandwich I have ever tasted. The house slow roasted pork, pickled veggies, spicy thai mayo, and all the other fresh ingredients nestled in warm french bread...the flavors mesh into magical, mouth-watering, culinary bliss. I have two regrets: 1) That I didn't try them sooner. So much wasted time. So many missed lunches. 2) That I tried the Bhan Mi first. I wanted to try more of their menu, but I don't think I have the self-control to order anything else. This sandwich is so popular, they often sell out of the roasted pork.
