This was a rip off. They charge you $180 and the pool will still have debris, bugs, dirt, leaves, etc. When I first notified Tracey and sent her a video, she dismissed it and then said she'd have the tech vacuum again. Went in for an o ring that they had in the computer but couldn't find in store. This place is a disaster.

Disappointing and unwilling to stand behind their work. After over 15 years as a pool service customer. All American Pool-N-Patio serviced my pool with reilable, trustworthy service. It was because of this great realtionship we hired them to resurface our pool... unaware that they would contract with a company we did not choose and whose workmanship was questionable. When we complained about the thin, uneven coating, rough surface, and poorly laid tiles we were told that the contracted company was not willing to correct the unsatisfactory work. All American Pool-n-Patio has since thown up their hands saying they are not responsible or accountable for the job. We have tried several times to communicate with them and they have repeatedly told us it's not thier fault. We have never experienced a company who clearly takes no pride in their work and no integrity to maintain professional relationships. Our next step is small claims court. We are utterly disappointed in a company we had held in high regard for so long. read more

After years of using Pinch-A-Penny, we got fed up with their lack of knowledge and superficial fixes to our issues. The last straw was when we paid to have PAP come out to fix our pool issues - they wanted us to buy a new pump because it was old, but we weren't convinced the issue was related to the age of the pump (as it appeared to be working...) We finally decided to get a second opinion and called All American Pool. Tim came out within a day or two and agreed there was nothing wrong with our pump. He was able to make small, minor repairs, and our pool is working more efficiently than it has since I bought the house (over 4 years ago!). The next couple of weeks we had some issues with our system (we were doing it all wrong, thanks to our years of advice from PAP...) - luckily Tim gave my boyfriend his cell phone number... my boyfriend called him a couple of times (even on the weekends,) and Tim answered and was able to talk us thru our issues. (For free! Just being a good guy and businessman, something we did NOT think to expect after our years with PAP... ) It's been over a month now and everything is working as it should. All American Pool is right around the corner from my house and super convenient from the Bel Air, Lake Como, Conway, Delaney Park and Lake Lancaster areas. The have a good size shop with all your usual chemicals. They also sell vacuums and other pool hardware. When we were taking care of our pool ourselves we would take a sample here and buy chemicals. The water test is free and they give you a complete readout with all the important stats including ph, alkalinity, chlorine, etc. Well, we finally broke down and decided to hire a service, and I would say that is one of the true highlights of our relationship with All American Pool. They come every week for a flat monthly rate. The fees are super reasonable. They also accommodate things like using a gate key to get into our back yard. Then there are things they do that go above and beyond, which is why I will always count on them. I no longer live at the property where my pool is, so I don't have a lot of visibility when there's an issue. The pump has gone down several times. Luckily it's under warranty but before the warranty company comes out for service you must answer a litany of questions. So one day Richard, the service manager had called stating the pump was down again. I asked him the litany of questions, and since he didn't have all the answers he drove over to my home personally and inspected the pump so I would have all the information I needed for the warranty company. This was outside of the weekly visits from the tech. Another thing I like is that Tracey in the billing department emails my invoice and water sample results every month. She never forgets to do this and it helps me keep all my records in order. It seems like this is either a family run business or that they are small enough that it's always easy to talk to a decision maker and get what you need. All American Pool is pretty good if you need to pick up chemicals or get your water tested, but they truly shine when it comes to monthly service. read more

Booked this company to fix two tiles on my pool last Saturday. They told me I would be put on the schedule and that it should be completed the end of this week. I called again on Thursday (yesterday) and I was told that I was in fact on the schedule and that I should be receiving a call at the end of the day to let me know around what time to expect them. I was offered $200 at this time to pick up a desirable shift at work for today, but I turned it down because I was expecting my pool to be fixed and would need to be home for it. Without a phone call last night I called again at noon today and was told that I was on the schedule for somewhere between 1 and 3pm. I called back at 4pm when no one had shown up. They said they would page the guy and have him call me with an updated time. I was called back within 5 minutes to be told that it was not going to happen today and that maybe tomorrow, he was doing a $1500 job, and the big jobs take priority over the small jobs. I began to inform him of my disappointment, and was told that I needed to talk to someone else about that, so I called back the main number and was told that they would get to me either Monday or Tuesday. I told them to not bother. I will find someone else who actually shows up to do the job when they say they will. read more

I used them over a month ago and they cleaned the filter and pool was clean again in a few days. Friendly and happy with the service. Now having the same issue almost 2 months later. Pump isn't working to its full potential. I texted, no answer. Emailed after no response and seen my text but forgot about me. Should have been a flag. Said they could get out end of week. They called to confirm appt the day before. I had to call to find out the what the diagnosis, only to find out he came, did nothing because he didn't have supplies on hand? What company shows up without supplies! Proceeded to tell me it will be $300 to get the pool clean since its is so green BUT cannot come out for another week! Are you kidding me? After speaking with then, it turned out to be a simple fix, but one that I was having trouble finding on the internet. My thanks to All American Pool, especially Mike, for exceptional service at the start of the holiday weekend. Ken always does a great job with our weekly service and left a note that there was a leak at the base of the filter that needed authorization for repair. I didn't have a chance to check it myself until the Friday before the holiday weekend. It was a simple connector that needed replacement, and I told Mike I really needed the pool to be up and running since my daughter was coming home from college with her friends excited to swim. Even though they were booked solid, Mike made a special trip and a perfect repair. This company has done a number of quality repairs for me, and I couldn't recommend them more highly! I purchase all of my pool supplies from here. I tried the Walmart and hardware chemicals and only the chemicals I get from All American have worked exactly as they said they would. I have used their service too and also with great results. read more
