Found this place when looking for somewhere new to eat. Went around 1:00 on a Saturday and noticed they were still serving Brunch. We ordered the Breakfast Sandwich Sliders and the Chicken & Waffles. Both meals were hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. All the drinks we ordered were strong and also delicious. The server was very welcoming and friendly as well. But the burger was incredible so it was well worth the wait. Do not judge a book by its cover!! We googled burgers in Springfield and this place popped up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]At first when we pulled and were skeptical because the parking lot was empty, and it was a small building on the corner but thought let's give it a shot and it was amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The girl Carmen did a great job explaining what their most popular dish where, and took the time to explain how the food is prepped. At one point the chef popped his head and asked how crispy I wanted the bacon.... That was a first. We had chicken wings 9 out of 10, southwestern egg roll 9.5 out 10 and the burger was a 10. First and second time here (same day because they were awesome) Chef Trey, along with cook Tom, puts out quality food ( we had the egg roll sampler - the beef and cheese one was bomb and the Travis Best Veggie burger was better than many other places regular burgers) - 2nd trip here had the Poutine (added pork, but didn't need it) Bartender on 1st trip - Keeta (sp?) was delightful - her and the food are why we came back - Bartender on 2nd trip, Jamel, was equally awesome Too bad we are from California or we would be regulars for sure read more

This place is right next to Union Station so I stopped in while waiting for the train. Reviews were all spot on. This is a great little place. The young owners are super nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music playlist was great and that's coming from an old guy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What a great menu. Lots of choices. I had the Flight of Egg Rolls. As my kids would say.... It was fire !!!! I had a hard time choosing from the extensive menu but went with the shrimp po boy. Again, fire. If you are passing through or live in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Visited this place last night and it was thoroughly mediocre. Food was ok, the Hawaiian burger was a good idea and the flavor was good. My husband's bbq burger was ok. But the place was empty and it took 35 minutes to get 2 burgers. The only options are "pink" (medium well) or "not pink." The presentation was ludicrous. I didn't take a pic but the burger was teetering atop a pile of tater tots/fries, with the top bun upside down on top and a steak knife shoved through the middle. Took a second to figure out how to safely get my burger onto the plate without it falling apart or cutting myself. The "plate" was like a big metal lunch tray. There were 3 times as many tots/fries as was reasonable and looked sloppy because they were scattered all over the plate The burgers are only 6 oz so after cooking it was quite small and was only half the size of the bun. Since the bun was upside down on top of the burger, it was glued to it by the cheese. Nothing about the presentation made sense. Every element made the burger, which should have been the star, look like a tiny side dish to the tater tot entree, and made it hard to eat. It's a minor nitpick but since I was already irritated, I was annoyed that sodas did not have free refills and I wasn't told that until I got the bill. The first soda came normally in a glass with ice. So when I asked for a refill, I was surprised when a can was dropped on the table. Got the bill and was charged $3 for each. That's crazy for a 12 oz can. So $40 plus tip for 2 cans of soda and 2 burgers that weren't our preferred medium rare because we couldn't order that, took forever, and were hard to eat because of senseless presentation. Service was ok. Since there weren't many tables the bartender was covering them and the bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got there like 8:30 and at 9 a DJ started and was blasting music so loud in a bar containing 8 people that we had to scream to hear each other.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we left at like 10, people were starting to filter in.
