This place is a very decent find for a sports bar. The portions are larger than what you get at most other spots, very tasty, and incredibly reasonably priced. The service can be a bit of a mixed bag, but keeping in mind that it's a hotel restaurant, it just comes with the territory. It has that classic "feast or famine" hotel rush vibe, and the staff consists of seasoned veterans who move at their own pace. Look, if you're looking for fast-paced, high-energy action, go to the casino. The place is in Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place & in heart of Springfield downtown but I don't know about if it's ideal for some days if a convention/event is going on because places size aspect seems small. I did have a burger well done with jalapeño pepper, red onion & BBQ sauce and sauce was enough to dip fries. The place has a lottery terminal for draw games including MA Lottery ones including Keno and possibly other ones but not scratch tickets. Where do I start with this place! I went here to get some dinner after checking into the hotel. The first thing I notice was the place was small and super crowded. Once i were seat at our table, which was dirty still, the server came over to take my drink order. I asked for a cocktail and a water, I never got the water. For my entree I ordered the BLT Burger, their specialty. Let me just say, if it's their specialty, I'd hate to have the rest of the menu. I waited probably 35-45 minutes after ordering to get my food. The burger was without flavor. It was moist though, actually DRIPPING with grease. It was obvious they're using cheap, fatty beef. My plate was swimming in grease and I couldn't finish the burger. The hand cut fries were good, that's about the only positive I can give. I'd think a restaurant inside the Sheraton would be bigger and much better. read more

It was Labor Day and pretty much nothing was open in this town today. This place was the only place that was open near where I was staying. It was pretty empty. The bartender/server came to my table right away and brought me pop corns and water. The menu consists of bar food such as wings, burgers etc. I decided on veggie burger with fries. The veggie burger was ok. In my opinion, it wasn't that good, but I couldn't be picky as nothing was open and I needed to eat something before work. The bartender/server was very nice and attentive and for service, I give 5 stars for sure, I'm glad I was able to try this place to write my review. read more

My wife and I were away celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary. Everyone from the clerk's at the front desk to the servers in the restaurants were very attentive. The MVP bar and grill had good food a d great drinks... we really enjoyed or meal and drinks and brought deserts back to our room. The entire weekend was great and the MVP bar and grill was part of it all. read more

Great good and friendly service. What more can you ask for? If you are in to dark beers I do recommend the Blizzard Wormtown. I went for the double trouble burger and it was a commitment to eat all of it and the 2 sides that come with it. Meh. They made my Moscow mule with corona instead of ginger beer. Upon entering, the vibe feels like an airport bar. But not an airport built or upgraded in this decade. It's dated. Not in a hipster way. After being stunned with the "Beer Mule", we ordered chicken nachos with added guacamole. For an extra $2.75, I hope the guac actually looks like guac and not blended green juice. It was just confusing. But we ate all the nachos. Overall, we left a pretty decent tip and got a great laugh out of it. I might come back, who knows. read more

I'd been to MVP numerous times in the past because I'm in the building daily. I stopped eating there because the last time I visited, the prices had gone from high to obscene. Ten dollars for 8 chicken wings is not a bargain even if they were drumsticks. The rest of the menu follows suit. If you're a hotel guest and snowed in on a Sunday night you'll still get decent food but you'll pay through the nose. The service is very spotty as it's probably hard to keep good people. I'd been there a few times with a group of 3 or 4 where we've played the "is the waitress coming over to our table now game." The best thing on the menu are the sweet potato fries. Your best option is to go across Main Street to JT's Sports Bar. read more

This was the worst meal with my family ever when traveling and thats saying a lot. Stick with vending machines on 10th floor of sheraton over this place. 1.freezer burned shrimp mini cocktail....food poising at best. 2. Frozen buger patties with stale buns dipped in butter. Wilted lettuce and liquid tomatoes. Mashed potatoes in a bowl with watm butter was gross. 3. Kids chicken fingers burnt with no chicken flavor. 4. Wings with lots of skin and not much chicken. Sause overpowers bad chicken taste. I can go on and on but we all felt sick later and are blown away that it is a sheraton property restaurant. They best replace this and fast! read more

One of the best Veggie burgers I have ever had. Sides ranges from standard fries to salads to steamed veggies. I had steam broccoli and enjoyed every bite. My daughter had in her words a yummy milkshake. Only 4 stars since service is slow and kitchen put a lot of chicken in our cheese and veggie quesadilla. It took a long time to correct it and they still charged us full price. Unfortunately we had to have it packed since we had a meeting to get to.
