I first spoke Kevin while the Kona Low storm was hitting my home and my ceiling started leaking during the middle of the night. It was the next morning and raining sideways with the wind gusting throwing things around. I asked if he could come lay down an emergency tarp and he simply stated he would be at my house in 45 min. 15 min later Kevin rang my doorbell and immediately jumped onto the roof to start bolting down the mitigation in the middle of the chaos. He even came back for free to help make adjustments the following day to better address the affected areas. After the storm I had them replace my entire downstairs and upstairs roof and they did an excellent job. Any concerns we brought up were addressed thoughtfully and immediately. We renovated our roof back in 2007. My mom doesn't remember which company did the renovations. For some reason, whoever did the renovation didn't finish one section of the roof. I am a general manager of an apartment association with very old roofing, therefore we get a lot of leaks! Despite the heat and the height, no short cuts were taken. We and our neighbor have been living under a Monkeypod for 4 years that drops SOMETHING 360 days a year. Ours roofs and gutters were compost piles. They checked every gutter to make sure it was fully operational. The work was performed on waterproofing our flat deck. Sari did the intial work of estimates, measurements, and contract. She was excellent, efficient, responsive. Real tech savvy utilizing a drone to take measurements of the deck. Kevin and Kyle were very knowledgeable about the product to be used. They and their crew were excellent, efficient, and responsive as well. After 4 months and a few heavy rain events, the deck is not leaky. I feel hopeful that this will last 5-7yrs before maintenance needed, as they explained. One star was deducted because while they were working on the deck, we had agreed on them coming out again to do a little touch up work when a hurricane shutter was to be installed on the same deck. They sounded very reassuring that they will come out no problem, and I gave them several notices of when the installation was to occur, but they didn't call back once. This was very uncharacteristic of them, which makes me think there may have been a reason like illness or emergency. I hope to keep in good touch with them as followup maintenance will be due every 5-7yrs or so. I hired All Around Roofing to put on my new shake roof. They were one of the few roofing co's that was able to pencil in a date to do the work. They did an excellent job and the roof is gorgeous. They installed new copper flashing around 2 skylights and the base of the chimney after patching cracks. They also installed some new fascia boards to replace rotten ones at time + materials (at reasonable rates). All the workers were courteous and professional. They cleaned up every day before they left. They purchased 3 new pop-up tents to put over my newly installed landscape for protection. Throughout the job, they used a shop-vac to vacuum all the debris that fell into the crawl space as the old roof was being torn off. I would highly recommend All Around Roofing. My asphalt roof was severely damaged during a severe wind storm. I promptly received an estimate from Kevin at All Around Roofing, which I found on Home Advisor. In addition, Kevin had his crew do an emergency repair immediately after I contacted him about the need. The estimate from All Around Roofing was significantly lower than other estimates, but also, I was impressed by the responsiveness and definitely decided to proceed. The job was scheduled promptly, began on the day it was scheduled, and Kevin coordinated with the solar company to have the solar system removed and when the job was done to have the system replaced. There were 3 layers of asphalt shingles on the roof and the team removed them in a manner which limited debris. The new roof was expertly installed around sky lights and vents, etc. Throughout the job the crew was respectful of the property and courteous. The job was finished within the anticipated number of days, and when the job was done all debris, no matter how small, was cleared from the property. I could not be more pleased with my experience with Kevin, Kyle and the crew from All Around Roofing--the quality of work is exceptional, they live up to commitments, pricing is very reasonable, and it's evident that they take pride in their work!
