This is a very belated review for work done last summer (2025). My roof was flagged by my insurance company, so I originally approached a well-known roofing company for an estimate. 3 months went by and no estimate. The house next door was having their roofing done, and before I could approach them, Nick came to my door and said that he saw that my roof was in bad shape. I quickly received an estimate, and because I was also having painting done soon, they got their crew out days later! The roof on the front house had issues, and Deja in the office kept me abreast of the developments, and what they had to do. My roof(s) looked great, and my homeowner's insurance was renewed. Based on job estimating, proposal, and follow up work with Hi Point Roofing, we had a pleasant, professional experience. For certain reasons, we did not go with them for our re-roof job, but we learned lessons from our choice. I thought Hi Point had the most detailed and complete proposal contract with pictures and important notes captured from the initial meeting. I am guessing because of their extensive background in the building industry, they also provide very useful knowledge for customers to be aware of when working with contractors and subcontractors. read more

I would highly consider using another company if you're in the market for a new roof! It was extremely easy to schedule a free consultation and receive a quote from this business. Nick is incredibly kind and knowledgeable and when we met him he made us feel confident in our decision to hire HI Point Roofing! It ends there! When you pay $20k+ for a job like a new roof replacement you'd expect to have . . . ONE: a company that has good communication skills and professionalism. TWO: a company that provides skilled and competent service that allows for the customer to receive quality assurance! Crew came out to remove our old roof on our two story home and our detached garage. They arrived around 8am and the work was completed around 3pm. The crew returned the next day to begin the installation of our new roof - again arrived around 8am. The work wasn't completed that day, which was a Friday so the weekend came and they returned Monday. Monday the crew arrived again around 8am and began to complete the installation of our roof. I received a phone call from our roofing coordinator letting me know that the crew was wrapping up. Funny! Because I was at home and the crew was still working on our home and hadn't even begun installing the new roof on our garage!!! That phone call was received around 2pm. I guess the crew needed or wanted to complete our job so they begun installing the new roof on our garage late afternoon and didn't finish it until around 6pm. When the crew finished and left after completing our garage I took our dogs out into our back yard and that's when I noticed some issues. There were some areas of the garage that looked like the shingles were lifting -- which equates into lack of proper installation!?! I had also noticed a lot of debris left on our roof, random nails around my yard and garage! I reached out to our roofing coordinator and sent photos of the areas of concern - they replied with, "I would like to send *** back to your home tomorrow to touch up your garage roof. He should be there anytime between 8am - 12noon". Touch up!? I replied asking for clarification and definition of 'touch up'. I received a reply with, "There's a few shingle areas on the garage roof that will be a touched up. It will take a hour or two". Didn't answer my question at all. Remember $20k+ spent and they want to send a one man crew out to 'touch up' and they want to give me a 4 HOUR ARRIVAL WINDOW!! I was livid! They ended up sending out a project manager, Paul, he concluded that a crew would need to come out to correct the issues on our garage roof and that it was more than a 'touch up'! We scheduled a day to have the garage corrected. I was told by my roofing coordinator that the crew would arrive between 8am - 9am ... the day arrived and the crew arrived at 7:20am! Please do not give me an arrival time and arrive before or after the time given! That's just plain unprofessional!! The crew that came ended up removing one whole side of our garage roof and had to install all new shingles. HI Point Roofing did correct the issue. But, it was with difficulty and inconvenience to get it done. I'd expect a company to do the work correctly the first time and to make sure their staff pick up after themselves!!! From the beginning it was easy to work with Nick. He was down to earth, responsive, and made sure he was giving us a competitive rate. He was patient with us and was really good about following up when we were ready to dive in. Although it may have taken just a few days longer than he guesstimated under the circumstances, with the weather and employees getting ill, I still felt that they did the project in a timely manner. I also didn't experience issues with other stories I've read about roofers having issues of leaving debri such as nails or open beams with nails sticking out or anything like that. They cleaned up after the whole project was completed and communicated as needed like needing an extra day, which I appreciate. The only con for me was not being told a head of time about what we needed to do to prepare for our house. Our particular roof doesn't have layers, it's natural that once they start removing the old roof that the debri would go inside the house through our wooden beams. Securing and covering our furniture should have been told at least a day a head, but was told after everything was taken off leaving a big mess inside the house for us to clean up after. This may seem like an obvious case but we had no clue. lol So I'd advise just to protect your interior if you have ceilings like ours Would I suggest Hi Point Roofing to anyone looking? ABSOLUTELY! They still did a great job and that was obviously a minor mistake in miscommunication and to be fair we are very happy with the work they did with our roof and the professionalism they had taking care of this project. read more

The roof on our addition sprang a leak a few weeks ago, so we naturally came to Yelp to look for a roofer. After receiving a few proposals we chose HI Point Roofing mainly because of how thorough they were in looking for and determining where the leak was coming from. Daven, our contact, went up on the roof, then into the attic to determine where the leak was. HI Point's proposal seemed to be the most reasonable, so we chose them, and we are so happy that we did. Once we accepted their proposal, they made all the arrangements for the PV panel removal and reinstallation, came up to the house, repaired the leak, which involved replacing the shingles on part of the roof, all in one day. I had scheduled an appointment and met the sales representative Nick. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with the products of roofing shingles on the market. I suggested solar shingles from certain teed, and he had mentioned it cools the house down, cause of its reflective properties. He then emailed me a proposal and it was nicely put together. When we decided to re-roof our home in Ocean Pointe HI Point roofing was the first and only quote we received. Some time had passed since we had gotten the quote but with the end of the year fast approaching and the tax credits for PV expiring at the end of the year we decided to move ahead with the project. Nick Gomes was the person who had inspected our roof and he wasn't pushy at all. After the inspection we did not move forward until two weeks ago. My Wife and I recently retired and we wanted to get this done early in our retirement. The work has been completed and we are pleased with the results. Their crew was respectful of our home and us and they worked very hard and finished the job faster than we had expected.
