DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS. I came in for an issue with my car lock. They changed the starter, which wasn't broken, then charged me $750 for it. (The lock was not addressed.) The starter they installed sounded bad. I asked them to put back the original starter and refund the charge. They refused. I explained that I intend to write a review describing my experience and threatened me saying "God will come for you and karma will get you back." Excuse me?? The car then broke down two days later. I called them to explain that the starter they installed was indeed bad. They not only did not fix the issue I asked them to, but have **now created a second larger one.** I asked them to refund the charge and reinstall the original starter so that I could at least undo the bad work they did and take the car elsewhere. They refused. He told me that I was "ungrateful for the hard work he did" and then hung up the phone. Quite confused. The hard work he did that only left car broken down on the side of the road in disrepair?? Disrepair in a way it never was before I took it to their shop. **Let me remind you the car had never broken down until they touched it. I simply went for a lock issue.** The car is now at a second shop. That shop requested the original starter and part number of the starter they installed so they can complete their assessment. All Automotive Repair refuses to provide any information regarding the work that they did. Today on the phone he said "I am not speaking to you.' And hung up the phone. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS WITH ANYTHING. My card is currently trying to get the charge back and I'm pulling together a claim for small claims court. But I would have so much rather not be a part of this mess. I wish I never trusted my car with this company. read more

When an elderly person comes in for an oil change they have zero patience with the customer. This WAS once a great shop but seems it has run its course in good service practices. I was driving home from out of town when an error light came on my vehicle. My husband wasn't with me and did a quick search in the area and found All Automotive Repairs and sent me that way. Sorin was fantastic - he and his team dropped everything to work on my vehicle and got me back on the road in less than 90 minutes (and part of that time was their lunch break - the actual work took them less than an hour). In addition to fixing my vehicle, Sorin made sure my kids and I were comfortable while we waited. I wish I were local, because I would absolutely bring my vehicles here for any work and maintenance. This auto shop came highly recommended and I really wanted to use them. But I came in with an issue and was quoted $4,780 for a new engine. I was told I blew a head gasket due to coolant issues and when I said I was going to take it into the dealership for a second opinion. I was told I'm just wasting my time and I'm going to spend more money. Mind you I have a Prius with only 100,000 miles on it. So an engine issue would have been reaching. It turns out that after I took it to the dealership it was the catalytic converter- something that was covered under warranty. And don't get me wrong. I hate dealership prices. I avoid it if I can but this time Soren was wrong to try and scold me for getting a second opinion when it cost me nothing to fix the issue versus shelling out $4,780. And on top of that the engine was only going to be under warranty for 3 month. This was not the experience I wanted to write about as I really would've loved to come here for the minor issues my dealership quoted me on. Took my truck in for brake issue - did not give me or call me with an estimate - went to pick up the truck $ 850.00 was the bill. Replaced two calipers and the master cylinder, Did not fix the brake issue. Went back the next day and told him the brake fluid was leaking he said it was not leaking when he had the truck- told me to come back after the week end. He needed another part and would have the part Monday or Tuesday - today is Saturday and still no call. Had he taken a minute to look at the brakes he would have seen the drivers side wheel well saturated with brake fluid. I went to Diamond Auto ( best in town ) for the repair. so i paid him $ 850 for changing parts that might not have needed replacing that did not fix my brake problem - when i mentioned leaking fluid he looked at me like I was a fool and gave me an attitude. On inspection it was found he did not install the brake caliper correctly hence the major leak at the caliper and the brake line to the caliper was also leaking - 850 and they did not install the parts correctly. Bad service - bad mechanical skills - and worst of all a bad i know more than you attitude - now way would I ever go back to this shop, pricy - inept parts installer - bad bad attitude. read more

I took my car to disconnect the wheel so it doesn't move again since this part is not working anymore. In 30 minutes it was done, the labor was good. The owner charged me $95 and told me that it was over an hour. I said it doesn't matter just please give me a receipt for the labor. The owner throw me out of the shop, told me that he won't waist a piece of paper for $95, that they're the cheapest in the area, that I should go somewhere else next time and I have a problem! I went in today to see how much it would cost to fix a small dent in my rear door but he kept saying that I would need to get it painted, I told him 3x that I had a shop already that was going to do a wrap job for me I just needed the dent removed first. I took my car here for an abundance of work that needed to be completed. They had been tasked with front and rear breaks, fixing the emergency break, sparkplug, oil change and a Tuneup. The parts had come in and the "work" had been done. I was surprised that I didn't see a new oilfikter on the car and when I asked him why not I simply got "it didn't need it" - when I tasked you with the work I didn't want an opinion, I wanted the work completed. The emergency break had been Jimmy rigged and he advised it worked 75%.. Once again I'm unsure as to why it wasn't fixed correctly.. I couldn't seem to understand why after asking a few times. Breaks in the front replaced with no problem, however, after follow up on the work from a second auto shop the drums in the rear had been put on incorrectly as well. Last but not least there was an odd rubbing sound the car made in the rear which I hadn't heard before. After consulting the second automotive shop they advised the bolts for the wheels had been too long and had I continued to drive on it there could have been a major safety issue. Overall I'm super disappointed in the worm they provided and the money I had spent. I was more than willing to go the distance with my checkbook, however, they had been lazy and did the bare minimum to get paid. When I advised of the problems they said "bring it back we will take care of you" - what a joke, you should have taken care of me the first time. They seemed like they had been interested in just charging me the margin on the parts and doing the bare minimum to get paid. Seems predatory in the sense they knew I had bigger problems failed to address them in the hopes I would be coming back for follow up work. To each their own, however, I'd advise find somewhere else. read more

This shop is a scam. My wife dropped her car off for an oil change last week, and was told her car needed new rear brakes. They told her she had less than 20% of her pads left. Since they quoted $150 to do what is a 40 minute job and only $30 for the pads, we decided that I would do the work. Imagine my surprise when I took off the wheel and noticed more than 50% of the pads left. Ladies, this is the shop that your father warned you about. edit: If only things ended there. The oil was changed on Friday. The car sat over the weekend. On Monday, there is a pool of oil under the car. I take the car back to the shop. Both the drain plug, AND filter were lose and dripping oil. How does an auto repair shop screw up an oil change? This is like a baker that cannot bake bread, or a bank teller that cannot count. It gets worse... To fix the screw-up, they have to pull the drain plug, draining the oil from the engine. They used a filthy can to catch the oil. The tech then tightens the drain plug and uses Brake Cleen to clean up the oil residue on the pan. The Brake Cleen dripping down into the drained oil. The tech then starts to pour the old oil and sludge from the can, and Brake Cleen back into the engine, and is confused when I tell him not to. This would have destroyed the engine. Please take your car anywhere, other than this place. read more

I have been using All Automotive Repairs for many years. This is one of the few auto repair garages that I have never felt dubious about. The owner, Soren, has always gone out of his way to accommodate us. He has helped us plan our repairs around paychecks and helped us with temporary fixes when we had no or almost no money. Recently, I was out running errands with my daughter. After stopping at the bank, my car would not restart. We had very little money to get us through the end of the month, so I was feeling very stressed. It was already 5pm when I called Soren at All Automotive. He thought it might be the alternator (eep!), starter (eep! eep!), or battery (please be the battery!!). We were actually across the street from him when I called, and he suggested we have it towed over since I couldn't push the car by myself. I called the towing company only to find out it costs $70 to get towed across the street!! There was no way we could afford that plus car repairs. Some nice folk had stopped and tried giving us a jump, and it helped a smidgeon (though nowhere near enough to start). By that time, my husband had cycled over to help. He called Soren back and told him it was likely the battery, but the jumps weren't working. He let him know our financial situation and Soren came over with his battery charger. Soren got us started, diagnosed us with a bad battery (it was bulging), and gave us the name of a place that would give us a good deal for a new battery. I don't care what kind of car I have. As long as I live in the area, I will go to All Automotive and Soren when my car needs attention. You should, too. read more

I took my 1997 Ford Expedition to this shop as the truck was running very rough. We had replaced all the usual parts, plugs, coil packs etc. Once the truck was at the shop Sorin was able to quickly diagnose the problem as the ECM (computer) malfunctioning. Instead of offering me a new unit he was able to find a used one saving me hundreds of dollars. The truck runs very smooth and havn't had a problem since. Got side swiped this morning and took my honda in for them to look at. Jerry was outside and spoke with me about the damage and what could be done. My side mirror is broken and that is by far my number one priority being that I do not want to be pulled over for anything with the way things are happening today. I stayed around the shop and played basketball. Jerry came back and told me he could have the part tomorrow morning and quoted me $150 for the installation. I asked him if I could get the part from O'Reilly's or Autozone today could he install it. He said he doubt they would have it on had and that my best bet would be going to yard and getting one. I told him I would give him a call after I checked with O'Reillys which pretty much next door. My girlfriend called and told him that we wanted to proceed. He told us it was too late to order the part (2:30pm) and my girlfriend said "my girlfriend can pick up a brand new part from O'Reillys." Dude threw a fit!! He hung on my girlfriend after mumbling something so we assumed we lost service and called back. He then told her "get someone else to do it, I'm not installing customer parts" and hung up again. Not sure if it's because he realized we were a couple or because we bought the part elsewhere but either way what a horrible exhibit of customer service. I'd like to think he was upset about the purchase elsewhere and not because my girlfriend said I was her girlfriend but it is what it is. read more

Oh no! Another sketchy auto place! I'm super surprised by all these reviews saying this spot is honest. I was overcharged 3x over for a part. When I called and brought that to the owner's attention, and that I literally was looking at the price of the part online at multiple places, he began yelling (promise I'm not exaggerating) that he needs to overcharge to make his money to "keep the doors open" and other weird things. I asked if they would simply price match and I think a simple no would have sufficed. Dude blamed me for "not looking this up before I said yes" to them servicing my car. O'Reilly's up the street recommended All Automotive to me and boy were they right! I just purchased a 98 Honda CRV and had taken it to Wilsonville Honda for an oil change and was told I needed to get some expensive repairs done. I decided to let All Automotive take a look and they were able to fix it for much less than the dealership. When I picked it up it started acting funny but with things that seemed totally unrelated - just coincidental. I took it back the next morning and they spent over an hour looking at everything they had done and looking it over to make sure nothing was wrong and in the end found out that it had very old spark plugs that needed to be replaced and they also found a loose electrical wire connection that had occurred from a previous transmission job (before I bought the car). Neither of these things were related to the items they fixed. They charged me a very nominal fee and I was on my way! My CRV runs perfectly now. I will definitely be back. Thank you Sorin and crew!
