I have 2017 Ford Expedition EL XLT that was smoking heavily due to leak oil from the vacuum pump. I considered myself to be somewhat mechanically included and I am very particular on who I let working on my cars as I have been burnt many times from bad mechanics. I needed my rear brakes replaced and asked for estimates on Yelp. Gabe presented a very competitive cost and I asked him to perform the work. He said the parts were on order and it would take a few days for them to arrive. He gave me a target date and notified me the day before that he could come and do the work the following day. He arrived a few minutes early and said it would take an hour to an hour and a half. He finished the work early and test drove the car. On returning he said he heard a noise and to double check his work, he decided to pull both wheels and inspect. He found a small part that was not related to the work he had done and fixed it. He was very patient and clear in his communication, walking me step by step through everything. In the end the problem with my car was totally a different issue, which got resolved. Gabe is quick to respond and he was able to come out same day to my home. He communicated prior to coming the rate for diagnostics. Upon arrival he explained what he was checking on and the results to narrow down my electrical issue. My battery was low and old, so he ran out to get a new one and was back in less than 30min. Once the new battery was in we tested the SUV out and everything started working properly again. He had a tablet to do diagnostics and reviewed it with me. A rarity! Fantastic service! Fast, friendly and efficient! I messaged Gabe's about 10:30am today, Friday the 10th of January. he set an appointment to diagnose an issue with my 2015 Honda Fit.
