New ducts and insulation were replaced. Concrete was poured in crawl space to prevent future rodent invasion. Overall, they did more work than they originally promised. His crew was very professional, diligent, and pay attention to detail. They carefully covered and protected areas around our house as to keep it clean, before starting the work and cleaned up nicely after work each day. They were on time every day throughout the work process. Many of his crew had worked for him many years and they are hard working. He showed me pictures, and, as it turns out, the service we used to rodent-proof our house two years ago (after a couple of unwanted guests came into the home) did NOT do a great job in clearing out the old insulation and sanitizing the space. I signed on the spot, and cleared my calendar for the next day. Noam said that they were going to also clean out all the air ducts in the house, and put additional insulation around the air vents and above my 13 month old's room (which is vulnerable to hot and cold temperature fluctuations.) 5/2/25: Insulation came at 7AM. R38 Ecobatt (which, from my research, is the premium standard for insulation). 8:04AM: Team (Noam, Marcelo, and Divan) arrived an hour ahead of schedule. We just had our house : taken out old insulation and ducts and replaced with new insulation and ducts for the attic and crawl space in early May, 2026. And few days later up to today's date, my family's allergy and especially my severe asthma has improved tremendously. My advice to everyone reading this, if you have severe allergies or asthma, please have your attic and crawlspace to be checked to see if it needs to be cleaned and / or new insulation replacement. Also now my house temperature has been cooler. Better air quality. Especially, my room used to be super hot that we could barely sit in there until after 8 or 9 PM. Noam is just an all around nice human. His team is caring and hard working and went overboard to make certain the job site was clean and put back together. They were done within two days and I was able to keep working while they were here! That's the overview. Here's the long story. I had a maintenance plan for our furnace through another company. They inspected the furnace and freaked me out when they said they couldn't do maintenance because of exposed asbestos in the ducts! Ugh! Even with my "special" plan pricing, their rate to remove and abate the asbestos (through a third party) and replace with new ductwork was very high. I saw All Bay and asked for an estimate. His team included removal, remediation, new ducting and insulation, new furnace - oh and cleaned the attic and installed new batting for the same price as the other company's quote. Plus the photos of previous work and their reviews sealed the deal. Done with all of it in two and a 1/2 days. The half was because they had a team that just cleaned and touched up behind the first team! These guys were so kind and worked fast. They even hauled out and disposed of some things a previous contractor had left in the crawl space without me knowing it was even down there! Then when we realized the fan in the bathroom wasn't working after the attic clean out and new insulation, the foreman himself came out to fix it. Pasquale had everything fixed within hours. If you're thinking of squeezing out another year with your old furnace, consider this - our PGE bill dropped by 100 with the new insulation, proper duct size and new furnace. That's 1200 in one year. Noam can help with that. He did not give me anything nor ask for any of this. This is for y'all doing your due diligence when it comes to home repairs. I needed to have subfloor insulation installed. I got three separate quotes and Noam won the award based on the details discussed and the value he offered. The crew arrived early and went straight to work. First they made a sealed-up tunnel so no dirt got elsewhere in the house. It's a tight, messy crawl space, I've been down there many times. I know it was not an easy job. Insulation installed and netting stapled to secure the batts in place. They also removed about 6 giant bags of garbage from down there. Professional job. I used the service for my attic refreshment and it is inspected by Noam. Besides the common works such as cleaning, ducts replacement. Noam just identified new asbestos in the vent. this is something other companies didn't find (they just followed the routinely work) Noam provided extra suggestions and included the works into his package including add a new fan to a restroom, seal the in-air vent for furnace in closet (not only the ducts), build a door for attic. I was thoroughly impressed by Noam's honesty and the qualifications that he had to install my new HVAC ducts and my attic insulation. I met with three HVAC contractors and Noam was the only HVAC contractor who honestly told me that I didn't need a new furnace, but I needed to remove the asbestos in my attic and get new attic insulation. The other HVAC contractors were not qualified to help me with my attic insulation and one contractor said I had no asbestos, but Noam , who is certified for asbestos removal, said I did have asbestos. I have peace of mind knowing that Noam was honest with me in telling me what I truly needed. His crew also did an excellent job installing my garage roof insulation with a ceiling fan. My garage gets incredibly hot in the summer. I look forward to having a cooler garage and house during the hot summers and a warmer house during the winters. I reached out to All Bay Insulation on a recommendation from a family friend who had work done with them previously. When i initially called I talked to Noam who is the owner and explained the work that was needed for my home. He set up an appointment with to me come to the house to give a quote. When he arrived he inspected the work that needed to be done. He also explained how my current hvac system was actually outdated and could be upgraded to perform better than before. He was very thorough and gave me detailed information of what services would performed and how it would save my family in future heating and cooling costs. We set up a date for the work to be done and how fast it would take. On the day of the appointment his crew arrived on time and wasted no time to start the job. They removed all the old insulation along with any debris that was present in my ceiling crawl space. They then removed the old outdated ducting installed a new filter housing along with ducts to my furnace. His workers then disinfected and sealed all possible air gaps and holes present in the ceiling area. After that they installed new insulation and also fixed some that I had installed previously that wasn't done correctly. When the job was near done Noam personally came to check on the work that had been performed. His workers then cleaned up all the areas that they had been present at and all they gear they used. I've spent a while thinking about how to rate the experience of having our attic's insulation removed, ductwork replaced, attic rodent proofed, and new insulation installed. The overall experience still sits poorly with me. Sam was communicative with my husband but not with me. This led to a delay in getting on the schedule as well as miscommunication about what was exactly getting done (R38 versus R44 Whether it was eligible for the BayREN rebate (https://www.bayren.org/insulation in case you weren't aware) or if the cost differential was more than needed. ) We noticed there were some challenges with folks on site speaking english. This added to some problem resolution. We come back after the job is done and it's incredibly hot. Seems odd that they haven't turned the AC or any kind of air on. The first thing I notice is that my wood floors have some damage from the tape being applied directly to them. I already needed to have them redone and I guess this is confirmation that everything was well sealed/covered. They demand the check, so we hand it to them. (mistake) Next, notice a vase was broken. They kind of shrug and look sheepish. Ok. I go to the Nest thermostat. It's not responding. At all. No light, nothing. I ask them how they know the duct work is actually functional. They say they tested it from the furnace. They go out to the furnace and flip a switch. The Nest comes on, but the AC does not appear to be working. I notice no cool air is coming from the vents. I want to believe that it was a communication issue but it really felt like they were dismissing my concern and then outright claiming something (that they tested) when they hadn't. I went through the different rooms and said it didn't feel like there is any cool air coming from the vents. (The original problem was inconsistent air flow in 2 of the rooms so I checked them all to see whether maybe it was just the same problem unresolved.) One of the guys insists that it is cooler and that I'm just not noticing it. We go outside and the AC isn't even turning on. Good thing as they had dumped their wet clothes (I mean I guess they took a shower because they were in a hot attic?) on top of my AC unit. I notice that there are 5 new holes in the ceiling where the nails have gone through the ceiling in 2 different rooms. We ask for the check back, and they don't want to give it to us. They call Sam, and Sam convinces them to give it back and that they will send someone out. The guys apply some caulk to the nails in the ceiling, lick their fingers, and smear the caulk around with their finger tips. I know this is partly my own hangups. Like it bugged me for ages when my husband started to paint the ceiling and I could see the difference in the 2 whites used. Now, those caulk marks, not only do I see these bubbles in my ceiling, but I have the memory etched in my mind of the saliva being mixed with the caulk. We ended up extending the hotel stay for another night as we couldn't stay in the house. Sam does get someone out who comes in and checks the wiring in the attic and is able to get the AC running. But, the air doesn't seem to be that much cooler. Sam says he'll get back in touch and adjust it if needed. Sam doesn't get back in touch. We spend another $300 with another company to come out and check the AC and get things cooling appropriately. Overall, they did an OK job. And it was fast and on time. They didn't really resolve the balance of cool air distribution and we had to get a separate company to validate the work. The overall experience with the lack of respect and follow-through ruined the experience for me. We also discovered that they left the traps which we had assumed they would take with them once they were done. I'm not sure what we were supposed to have done if we had caught a rodent. I noticed my air conditioner was blowing room-temperature air a couple of weeks ago, so I used the Project tool here on Yelp to find a company to assess and repair my A/C. To be honest, All Bay Insulation & HVAC was my second choice, but after the first company did a poor job of following up to schedule an appointment and obviously didn't read my initial quote request, I reached back out to All Bay Insulation & HVAC. My contacts there were responsive, answered my questions, and confirmed they were able to work on my unit which was on the roof. They were able to schedule an appointment the next day which was perfect since I was working from home that day. I received an appointment confirmation and was told my technician's name was Jesse. Jesse arrived at the beginning of my appointment window and quickly assessed what was wrong. He fixed the problem right away, and my townhouse quickly filled with cold air. Look, I have never used this company. However, driving home on 8/10/23 at around 5:00 pm near Andrade and Sheridan Road in Sunol one of their drivers decided it would be a good idea to pass multiple cars on the wrong side of a double yellow. The same driver, license plate # 01789K3 then drove over the speed bumps on said road at a very high rate of speed. You can call me a Karen, you can call me a narc, but if their employees are willing to put other drivers at risk, and potentially damage the provided work vehicles, I wouldn't use them. The truck was nice, it had all kinds of decals about what a good job they do, maybe they are courteous and professional in your home, but I think a lot can be said about someone's character when they are off the clock or they don't think people are looking. Update- owner responded, said he provided phone number, however he did not. Further, as I stated this vehicle was driving on the frontage road near Andrade and Sheridan, not on the freeway. Near the plant and pottery outlet. There are definitely speed bumps. I appreciate the response but I gave a time, place, and license plate number with a photo. Saying you can't find it is disingenuous and a great way to CYA, but you're disrespecting anyone reading these reviews by acting like this didn't happen. I'm giving you feedback and you're giving excuses. Update 8/15/23- the owner did reach out to me and left a phone number after my second update. I called him, with my number blocked (because I'm not going to give him my personal contact information, duh.) The call went to voicemail where I left a message reiterating what I saw, when I saw it. We hired All Bay for the following services: - Remove all ductwork in the attic, crawlspace and garage - Removal and asbestos remediation for the boots and registers (14 in total), and patch-up the wall openings and paint - Add batts-type attic insulation in the attic (they also added a radiant barrier for free) - Air seal the whole house i.e. openings in the attic, crawlspace, walls and fireplace. Air-blower test was performed to prove the sealing efficiency. The work was completed in a little over 4 days and everything was done to satisfaction. Noam was very responsive throughout the process - from the initial inspection and quote, to sending regular updates and photos as the job progressed. The team also cleaned up responsibly at the end of every work day. We are very happy with the quality of the wall-patching too. All this done for a very reasonable price. Note: The attic insulation was so thick that it ended up covering the attic vents, which another contractor pointed out to me. This situation is dangerous because the attic may over heat without adequate ventilation and also mold problems may occur. When I contacted Noam about this, he quickly sent someone out to come back and fix it by pulling back the insulation from the vents. Nice job replacing the ducts to the furnace and removed asbestos out from the basement. They also surprised my by rewrapping the old ducts in the garage which is in another level of my house not needing replacement. Cleaning those old ducts was free with the job. read more

All Bay did a complete removal of insulation and duct work due to rats in attic. They dd a great job finding all the places that the rat were getting into the attic. After that they desantized and installed shield on ceiling of attic and then installed insulation R38. I also had them install insulation and vapor barrier under the subfloor. The work shows good improvement with keeping the home cool and the AC is working so much better. They do excellent work and use the finest materials. I had All Bay Installation and HVAC inspect a broken Air Conditioner for me. The workers did a thorough inspection and gave sound advice letting me know the cost of a repair vs a replacement unit. The pricing was very reasonable, so we decided to go ahead with a replacement. The workers did a great job with the installation, disposal of the old unit, and making sure the new unit worked much better than before. I always think of the Servpro ad "like it never even happened," but in this case, I'd say grateful that it happened, my house is colder than before, and I know I am saving money in the long run too. We were spending too much to heat and cool our 2nd floor of our house and decided to get some estimates to see if we needed to upgrade our HVAC system. When Noam visited he didn't try and sell me on a new HVAC system but rather recommended to view my attic and crawlspace to check for leaks and insulation. Sure enough it was extremely outdated, leaks everywhere, thin insulation and needed to be fully replaced. He recommended we do both the attic and crawlspace at the same time since it would be cheaper. I told him I wanted to get estimates now for other companies doing the replacement of the insulation and they all tried to upsell me on other things that I didn't need and they were more salesmen then technicians that knew what they were talking about. I decided to go with Noam and that was the best decision I made. His crew was always on time. Extremely nice and willing to work around my schedule. Kept the work area clean and very quick with the install. They were not the cheapest estimate but they probably gave me the best value when it was done.
