He parked in the garage and set to work repairing the cracks and afterwards, sealing it. Total time was probably half an hour to an hour, and in the meanwhile he answered all our questions, and even offered us some tostada style chips covered in churro seasoning. The repair was finished in no time, and he was very honest about what it would look like and if it would disappear (spoiler alert: was a bad hit so it won't be invisible unfortunately) It was fine to me. Based on the glowing reviews on Yelp and Google, I asked this company to fix it, and the "repair" cracked my windshield further into a 10" crack that is still growing. Alfred is the business owner and seems honest and knowledgeable, but I cannot recommend his services based on my experience. He walked me through each step of the chip fix process, but as he was pumping the resin into my windshield and warming it with a tool, the chip suddenly caved under the pressure with a loud *crack* and created a long 10" crack extending from the original point of impact. He did everything he could to salvage the situation but the damage had been done. He tried to fill in the new crack, but his UV light was out of battery and we had to use my cigarette lighter to power it so he could cure the resin correctly. This showed a lack of professional preparedness for a simple procedure that he supposedly performs all the time. He was reasonable enough not to charge me for the "fix" but I'm hugely disappointed with the result - a long thin crack that has already grown in one day since he treated this windshield. I will likely have to replace this windshield, which was a cost I was hoping to avoid by enlisting this company's help.

Also, his pricing was 2x what everyone else charges. Do yourself a HUGE favor and go somewhere else. At least get quotes from other companies and you will see that Alex is scamming you. Also he will give you a time, then be hours late, and then be so mean to you for asking for an actual arrival time. It was such a wild experience. I ended up cancelling the whole thing. For the record, his rate was $600+ and everyone else was high $200s/low $300s.
