Updated review: came back recently for a mani ($15) pedi ($30) at separate times. The pedi was pretty good, Tina honored my appointment time and I was the only one there and didn't feel rushed. The cleanliness was a good sign: the basin was lined with plastic and Tina wore rubber gloves too. I enjoyed the massage (except the part where the hot stone was rubbed flat against the center of my shin bone rather than slightly to the left/right), Tina was pleasant to talk to, and though my heels didn't come out as baby soft as I hoped, overall i was a happy customer. The mani was a bit disappointing. Despite making an appointment for 2 manicures with a friend, only one tech was available and so my friend had to wait. The hand massage was pretty weak. We both got cut during the cuticle clipping (she more badly than me) which was unfortunate. And my polish application was good but there was still polish around the edges that could have been cleaned up. I did ask Tina to do that on one nail because i noticed it before leaving and she did, but when i got home i noticed other nails that were also lacking that sharp polish edge/definition. Unbelievably Frustrating and Unprofessional, if I could give zero stars I would. I feel compelled to share my incredibly frustrating experience with this nail salon, which left me both disappointed and angry. I visited this along sure to the positive reviews which I now believe are fake and bought. As someone who values well-maintained nails and frequently visits salons, I can confidently say that this was, without a doubt, the worst nail salon I have ever encountered. My ordeal began when I called ahead and requested an earlier time for my appointment, to which the lady at the salon agreed without any apparent issue. Arriving with my sister and cousin, I anticipated a bit of a wait since there were only two staff members attending to customers. Patiently, we waited for our turns, understanding that the process takes time. One by one, my sister and cousin were taken care of, and I continued to wait my turn, as Linda, one of the staff, assured me she would attend to me next. However, things took an infuriating turn when a customer arrived for her appointment, scheduled after mine, and began making a scene about the 15-minute delay. Astonishingly, the staff abandoned me mid-service to attend to this woman's demands. It was at this point that my patience wore thin.After enduring an hour and a half of waiting, my nails were subjected to an extended acetone soak a burning like sensation to skin. At this point since Linda left me, I removed the acetone wrapped tinfoil. When it was finally time to settle the bill, I was slapped with a $22 charge for a service that was rushed and incomplete. I had received no nail polish or color--just a basic gel removal, filing, and buffing. Expressing my frustration and questioning the steep charges, I was met with indifference and an utter lack of consideration for my time and experience. Adding insult to injury, I was practically coerced into giving a tip through Venmo. The staff member's insistence and invasive approach left me feeling very uncomrtable. While I understand the challenges of a small salon with limited staff, it does not excuse the unprofessional and disrespectful treatment I received. My appointment slot was repeatedly pushed back, and my needs were sidelined for another customer's frustration. This entire experience left me incensed and deeply disappointed.I had hoped for a pleasant and satisfactory visit, but this nail salon managed to utterly fail in meeting even the most basic standards of customer service. I think I may have found my new favorite nail salon in Boston! I heard about All Bright from a friend who's been coming to this salon for years. She said the prices were good and the service was quality. She recommended making an appointment because it can get overwhelmingly busy at times. So on a "pamper me" day, I booked an appointment for a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. Surprisingly, they weren't busy at all, so I didn't really need the appointment but the salon is small, so I can see why it's a good idea to have one. My pedicure was first and was a classic pedicure, nothing fancy. The nail technician did a great job clipping and filing my nails. And I love the color on my toes! The same nail technician did my manicure. Again, she did a great job shaping and filing my nails to the perfect roundness. And the color is wonderful too. For $52, I left completely satisfied and will happily be a new, regular customer of All Bright Nail Salon. read more

I've finally found the perfect nail salon! I went during my lunch break at noon, which I've found to be the perfect time to go to nail salons during the week. My nails were done by Thien and she did a perfect job. I had extensions and gel done, so it took about an hour and ten minutes. In totally, including a 20% tip, it was only $58. She was absolutely meticulous with my nails, friendly, and they make payment very easy which is helpful now that I rarely carry cash. I was absolutely blown away by the price considering at my old salon in downtown I would've paid upwards of $80. As long as this place is open I will continue being a regular customer. I made an appointment for Saturday morning for ombre nails. Even though I got there a little late, they didn't give me a hard time at all. I was a little disappointed in the available color selection, but I ended up finding two I really liked together. I've only had basic polish done before, so getting tips and powder was a new experience for me. The technician was friendly. She was also responsible for answering the phone, and had to take a couple of calls while doing my nails. I don't think it affected the quality of her work, but I would have preferred to have her full attention. All in all, I was very happy with the experience, and I love how my nails look. I went to all bright nail & spa the other day to get acrylic nails done and my eyebrows. Let's start with my eyebrows, i usually get my eyebrows threaded which is the same price as here $10 this was a mistake! The lady who did my eyebrows did not clean them and only waxed hair that was growing on the sides as well as did not shape them, they look like how they do after a week of not getting them done and it was a poor job i did not tip her because this wasn't the first time she has done something bad. My nails they are crooked and lumpy it looks like a DIY gone wrong. She was rushing and the paint on my nail became sticky and i told her if she could redo one of the nails and she just added another coat which made it look even worse. As you can see i got letters on my nails by her and she is a so called "professional" that looks like something my 2 year old niece would do on my finger. And she put the top coat right away which smudge the color. All in all this was a mistake and i waste 1 and half hours for a poor nail job and eyebrow job for $45 when i could of gone somewhere else for the same price and much more better job. I've gone a couple times and my experiences have varied greatly. First time, no other customers were in the shop and so the owner really took her time and I was very pleased with the look. Second time, it was a packed Saturday, and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes for a gel manicure. Which you can tell with the pictures how that turned out (nude polish). There was cured gel polish on my fingers, my nails looked grown out because the polish was not applied as carefully, and there was still small pieces of cuticle. Third time, I was pleased with the look (red polish) and the manicurist took her time. I think that getting an appointment is a must, because it can get busy and it is a small shop. The woman who did my nails (Kim) was extremely friendly and did an amazing job. My nails are exactly how I asked for them to be and perfectly painted! Not sure exactly how many stars to give. I went to get my acrylics removed and have a gel manicure done. The gel manicure turned out great. Unfortunately, removing my acrylics was painful. I tried to do it on my own but failed on one hand. I thought that going to them would be better and quicker. It was definitely I quicker because I didn't have to sit with my fingers in acetone. Only thing was she clipped and ripped off the acrylic with a cuticle clipper and separated the acrylic from my natural nail with some sharp pointed tool. I asked if it was usually normal to sit with acetone and she said no, that doing this was ok and faster. I will never ever go to them to remove acrylics, but they do other manicures very well!!! Where do I begin. So a friend and I chose this place. That was the first mistake. Her experience: She went in for a full set (gel). The woman that did it told her to pick a color and when she went to the lady the said "no sit then pick color after". So after that awkward encounter she began to do my friends nails. Now not all was bad my friend wanted then thin and not buldgy which the nail tech succeeded on. How ever that is also where everything else failed. After she was done with her nails and set her under the fan to dry the polish the nails started to lift up (like come off) how is that even possible after you globbed the gel on there. So she had to redo the ones that were coming off. During that time my friend noticed that some of her nails were filed straight. She attempted to fix it but just made a bad situation worse. I think the nail tech knew that she didn't do a satisfying job cause she kept asking my friend if she was ok. Mine: So she had the aceatone on to remove the gel polish I had on my nails already. Then when she started to scrape them off she did it so hard it actually hurt. I've never in the many years of getting gel manicures have that happen. When I told her she said that I was sensitive and blamed it on me. So as she is doing my nails and over filing them. I told her I wanted them square needless to say that's not the shape I got. Some are square some are rounded. When I tried to get her to fix it she said after she cut my cuticles she would reshape. Which she never did. That was my right hand. So when doing my left she tried to be more cautious but I noticed she filed my pink so much that part of my nail is missing. When I asked her what happened she said that was my nail. That I walked in there like that. Pictures will show the difference. The pic with the purple color is right before I went there. Also, I did the mood changing polish she told me that the warm color was actually the cold so now my nails are mint rather then the color I expected. But that isn't a real issue cause I like the mint. Would have just been better to know. I didn't know it would be mint till it was heated by the light. She also applied way to much coats of polish so I am anticipating that it will start to peel before the 2 week expectancy. Also to end every manicure what we all look forward and get excited about. The little hand massage you get at the end. Did this happen here? If you guessed no: your guess is correct. She literally skirted the lotion dabbed it on my hand and just left it there. That was about the final straw so I said "don't worry I will run it off myself" if you weren't going to do the massage fine, but don't put lotion on my hands and just leave it there. Update: this post was made Tuesday 03/07/2017 and it is Friday 03/10/2017. The gel has chipped from one nail. (picture posted) and 3 of my friends nails has come off. I dropped into the salon to get a shellac manicure today. It was very busy, so I had to wait for about 45 minutes, but I wasn't in a hurry. My nails were worth the wait. I have never had such a perfect manicure. Most salons only do two coats for gel, but she offered to do a third coat. Their selection of gel colors was huge. And 25 dollars for a gel manicure is amazing! I will definitely be going back here again, but I will be sure to make an appointment next time for less of a wait. read more

Once you start going to this place, you never need to visit another nail salon. Very fair prices and good quality. I like to get Cindy, the owner. She's the one who sits closest to the front desk. She always does great work. I've also gotten the one guy (I don't know his name, sorry) and he's good too, and throws in a little hand massage. Only drawback is that they don't have A/C, just fans, so I try not to go on a 90-degree day. I get acrylics on my fingernails and go every two weeks to get them filled and they last til then. Sometimes they take off a few nails and completely re do them and charge me nothing or maybe an extra $2. Really reasonable--some places will charge $2-3 for every single broken nail they need to repair or replace. I got gels on my toes six weeks ago and they still look good! read more

I've gone here a few times and it has always been a great experience. However, I just went this past Friday and it was quite busy. The lady that was doing my nails was going between me and another girl, doing such a rush job. My nails (I got an acrylic set done) came out with dents, misshapen, and my top coat has already worn off after not even 24 hours. Overall, for the price and quality, this nail salon is a good find. I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could. Here are the factors that I considered while trying to find a good nail salon and whether All Bright met my expectations. Price (Yes): I did a lot of research before I picked this place for a mani/pedi (which cost $35) and price was a big factor. They definitely have the most 5-star ratings out of most places in Boston and the most competitive prices. The place itself is a small little salon with bars on the windows so it doesn't look like much. But don't let that fool you. Timeliness (No): I made an appointment for 6:00pm, arrived at 6:10pm and had to wait a lot. So if timeliness is on your "must-have" list, get ready to be disappointed. I walked in and was told I would wait about 10 minutes. The nail technician did not start my mani/pedi until 6:30pm at the earliest. At least I got to wait on a massage chair with my feet in hot water (even though I had to wait around before a staff member turned the water on for me). Cleanliness (Yes-ish): They looked pretty sanitary; clean equipment, new nail files etc. Their towels, however, were a little dingy. If I were more demanding I would have asked them to use a cleaner one...I would recommend that you speak with the technicians if you're not happy about the equipment they use. I'll definitely do that next time I visit. Quality (Yes-ish): The mani/pedi lasted about 2 hours. The foot massage was very relaxing and even included hot stones, which I didn't expect! A nice surprise...The staff was very friendly and apologized for any small issues that came up (like having to wait for so long or pinching my toes in the process or filing). The mani/pedi itself came our great; the technician applied 3 coats of color to both my fingernails and toes. There were a lot of lotions, oils and other creams she applied. Idk what they were but I felt pampered. Now, this may have been my fault, but when I went home I realized that the very tips of my nails were a little white, or not as well-covered as the rest of the nail. I don't know how this happened but it's the second day I have it today and I can already see where it's going to chip. I don't expect this to last very long. Staff (Yes): My nail technician warned me about the colors I picked being too light, and I appreciated her honesty. I also wanted to get square filed nails and she warned against that as well, because my nails would have been too short. So they definitely take initiative and have an understanding of what the client wants. She also warned me about my nails not being dry enough, and even though it was like 8:00pm at night (an hour after their closing hour), she welcomed me to stay longer until my nails dried. In the end, she sent me home with some special oil and sandwich bags over my toes, haha. Hours (Yes): As a working professional, I was looking for place with slightly more flexible hours than most. I have never been this satisfied with my nails!! The staff is friendly, the place is clean, they have an awesome color selection, and their prices cannot be beat!!!!! My gel refill lasts me about 3-4 weeks. No chipping. At. All!!!! My regular pedi lasts me about 1 month! They take their time here with you to assure customer satisfaction. If you come make sure to call ahead for an appointment and make sure to have some time to spare. I normally spend about 1 hour and 45 minutes here (Gel refill and pedicure). 2 hours if I'm doing my eyebrows. Honestly, this place is top notch quality. Just like a high end spa. Just got pampered here, chose to try this new spot because it was closest to where I am and with decent reviews. Thi did my gel pedicure and foot spa as well as my gel manicure - I felt bad for having an elderly lady work on my nails but she was the only one available ‍ she tries her best to be attentive to detail! But in the end she got polish, color and clear, stuck under and around my nails after the uv treatment sadly. Kim the manager was sweet to help me fix it as a finishing touch before I left, offering to redo my entire gel mani free if it starts chipping in a week. Tina had helped take off my old gel manicure, aluminum foil wrapping my fingertips with acetone, and filing my nails but she just couldn't get the round shape I wanted even though I kept asking for rounder. I believe she muttered I was picky to Thi, I can understand a little Viet.. It was average result. I like the look and I consider myself to have low standards because I'm tolerable of certain things, eg when Thi used her nails to scrape extra polish around mine, how like every salon I go to they continually cut your cuticles until it builds up.. these things I notice and would prefer they not do but don't want to b*tch about. Average service - they didn't talk to me but Kim tried warming up to me so I would come back. However I enjoyed my hands feet calf and forearm scrub and massage, especially the hot stone oil part after the tickling curse of the pumice to exfoliate my heels. I have been coming here for about 2 years now, got my nails done by different technicians and wasn't always happy or satisfied because of the inconsistency with the nail job. I got my nails done by a nail technician named Nicole and she is honestly the best. I always request for her whenever I go to get my nails done because compared to the other ladies, she actually takes her time to make your nails look amazing. She never rushes me when I'm debating on what color I should get (I'm super indecisive when it comes to my nails) but instead she gives me options and tells me what new colors are in and so forth. I've been coming to all bright nail for about 3 yrs cause so far is the best place to get a manicure and pedicure that you would feel please with. Kim it's the best. She always make sure you get what you want, very nice and kind. The prices are fair enough, and the staff always make you feel wellcome. This is by far the best nail salon in Boston. The prices here are fair compared to those of other salons and the services here are great. I've been coming here for acrylics & they have always stayed on for over a month. I appreciate how they take their time with everything and it never feels like they are rushed. I am now a monthly regular at this salon and hope to never leave them. I always call ahead, but it is not necessary unless you plan to visit during a peak time (afternoons on the weekends and sometimes weekday evenings). This salon is clean, thorough and very inviting. Their service is quality and never disappoints me. I have taken so many friends and converted them instantly. I usually go once a month to get a gel manicure, which lasts minimum 3 weeks, sometimes up to a month. The pedicures are amazing as well. You get the full-on treatment, including the most amazing hot stone massage. Bring cash to tip and plan to spend more than $15.00 if you want to use a credit card. If you forget cash, there are arms nearby and they always let you quickly run out to grab cash if needed. read more

I went to all bright to get a regular polish manicure. I first want to say that the place is not hygienic. They put the used tools in a sterilization bag to pretend they have been cleaned appropriately. The sticker you have to remove to seal the bag before putting it into the sterilizer was still on and the indicator on the bag was red showing the contents were not sterile or clean. I found this deceiving and unacceptable. Also, when I was seated, the technician did not change the towel that had a ton of nail shavings on it from the previous clients. The polish turned out to be old and sticky and when I voiced my concern, the technician added some "thinner" and proceeded. When she was done the polish was so thick that it was wrinkled. I pointed this out to the technician and she wanted to remedy the situation by adding yet another coat. I asked her to please redo them with a new polish as they were never going to harden or dry. The technician also got polish on all of the skin around each nail and used a brush and polish remover at the end to clean it up (she still missed some). I am not sure how she became certified if she gets polish all around the nail. I was in the salon for over an hour for a simple manicure and it was not the relaxing experience I came in for. I think is very sad to pay for a service that was not received. I literally had to go home and finish removing the polish on my skin and file a few jagged nails. read more

There's not much more that I can say than this place is amazing. They're reasonably priced (especially in Boston, where gels and acrylics are absurdly expensive) and their selection is vast! I'm super particular about my nails, and Cindy gets them right every time. I live pretty far from here, but its worth it to me to grab an uber and go. Definitely check this place out!! read more
