Absolutely terrible experience. The service was rushed, unprofessional, and the quality of the work was awful. My nails were uneven, messy, and looked worse than when I arrived. The staff was unfriendly and seemed more interested in finishing quickly than doing a good job. The salon was not clean, and I left feeling completely disappointed. I wasted my time and money and would not recommend this place to anyone. One of the worst nail salon experiences I've ever had. This was by far the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. I had an appointment scheduled, yet I still waited a long time before anyone acknowledged me. The staff seemed disorganized, and there was very little communication about the delay. Once I was finally seated, the service felt extremely rushed. The technician barely spoke to me and seemed annoyed whenever I asked a question. I requested a simple design and even showed a reference photo, but the final result looked nothing like what I asked for. The shape of my nails was uneven, the polish application was sloppy, and there were visible bumps and streaks throughout. What frustrated me most was the lack of attention to detail. Several nails were different lengths, excess polish was left around my cuticles, and the finish looked messy. Instead of feeling pampered and relaxed, I spent the entire appointment worrying about how bad my nails looked. When I politely pointed out some of the issues, I felt like my concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously. The overall atmosphere was disappointing as well. The salon felt chaotic, and I did not get the level of professionalism I expected. For the amount of money I paid, I expected quality work and decent customer service, but I received neither. To make matters worse, the manicure did not last. Within a short period of time, I noticed problems with the finish, which was incredibly disappointing given the cost. I ended up having to spend additional time and money elsewhere to fix the results. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating from beginning to end. There are many nail salons that value their customers, take pride in their work, and provide quality service. Unfortunately, based on my experience, this was not one of them. I left feeling disappointed, dissatisfied, and convinced that I would never return. I cannot recommend this salon to anyone looking for professional, high-quality nail services. read more

I went to get a gel manicure. I had regular nail polish on so no removal needed and they charged me $58 (yes, FIFTY EIGHT!) dollars. The manicure was awful too! I asked for white nails and they didn't have a thick white so they gave me a streaky manicure that I can't wait to replace. Cherry on top, the person that did my nails had a cold and was coughing the whole time. Thankfully she did wear a mask. But they are clearly making up prices and ripping people off. Cute, clean interior with top of the line products/supplies from Japan. Owner and nail designer, Fiona, is so sweet and highly skilled. After thoroughly researching several new Japanese nail salons that recently opened in the Boston area, comparing nail designs on Insta and zooming in on details, Miss Rainbow's are the most precise, stylish, and consistent. I could not be happier with my simple, elegant design that Fiona did for me today, a carbon copy of the photo I brought in. Fiona was meticulous throughout. This was my first time going, Pros: - they shape your nails well -they use quality products Cons: - you can only get gel polish - it took me 2.5 hours to get my nails done. Granted they messed up twice and had to redo two of my fingers but they took a full 30-40 minutes just shaping my nails. - when they messed up my nails I had all three of the workers focused on my nails and they still couldn't get it right to the point where I had to tell them to just leave it so I could get out of there. - they spent almost no time cleaning up my cuticles and I left with multiple hang nails and one really big one that is irritated and red (see picture) - they didn't give me any lotion for my skin afterwards. - they forgot to put on top coat on my left hand except for one nail and now they have been closed until Friday so I can't get my nails fixed (I got my nails done on Tuesday and they reopen Friday) - the color is uneven even though they took forever to do it (I got light pink) - after being forced to stay for a shotty job I was still asked to pay tip! There was no sympathy for their shortcomings, instead they just asked for MORE MONEY! - probably worst of all is that they charge WAY TOO MUCH. I was charged $90 for gel removal and application and only got a 10% discount for being a new customer but no discount for the wack job they did and keeping me there for over 2 hours. All in all: I would steer clear of this place. They claim to be a luxury nail salon but the only good thing is that they use quality products and shape your nails well. However, is it really worth going for the quality product if the application and execution are beyond poor? I should not have been asked to pay almost $100 for a job that's worse than the salon across the street that can do it better for $30 or less. read more

Parking was easy (metered parking) also steps away from the MBTA. Price is reasonable for the quality of the polish and the design. (Paid $88 for the cat eye gel) The owner was very accommodating and offered me a beverage while getting my nails done. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back! read more

I speak a little bit of mandarin but I didn't really want to talk much so when I first entered, I said I didn't speak Chinese. The staff proceeded to talk about me in a very judgmental way. I wasn't going to say anything but at the end, when my pedicure was still drying, the manager wanted me out to make space while the technician argued that the polish wasn't dry yet. I changed my mind three to four time while shaping the nail and she did everything I said so perfectly. I felt sorry and apologized to her and she said it's okay to do that. She is so good at shaping nail as the way customer wants. When putting crystals on my nail she asked if I like the way it is now or want to adjust it. And the service here is great too. Came here once and will never come back. Got gel extensions and wanted a cute design. I showed a few diff options of designs and the girl seemed very unsure. I even showed a picture of a design from their Instagram page and she acted like she couldn't do it. It was. White/nude design. And she told me the nude was red. She also wouldn't show me all the different colors they had despite me asking and the samples visibly behind her. I eventually landed on a more simple design that still cost me over $100 for the design itself. It came out decent, but by this point, I was already upset because it wasn't what I originally asked for. Then the pedicure was a nightmare. I sat in a massage chair (not a nail salon massage chair) and put my feet IN A BUCKET. The pedicure lasted about 20 minutes. And she held a fan to dry it. And when she was done. She rested the fan on the chair itself to dry. Needless to say. The minute I left; my toes smudged. I also watched another girl there actually show her client all the different color samples. The entire time the people were all speaking in mandarin. And didn't really care much about customer service. Don't come here. Not worth the price. Experience sucked. read more
