This is my new favorite place to shop for auto parts. These guys are amazing, fun, knowledgable, and have a great sense of humor. I called up the place pretty late in the afternoon and needed to have my rotors resurfaced. I talked to Brian, but he said he's booked up. After explaining to him that I have a trip planned and need my rotors serviced ASAP. He said, "OK, I'll help you out but only if you can get here in 35 mins". I agreed and started dismantling my rotors, and by the time I got to the shop, it was already 50 minutes out. Even though it was late in the afternoon, he was cool and completed the job as promised. I've been going here for decades. It truly is the only real auto parts store around anymore. Big chain stores like Pup Boys, and O'Smilies are staffed with employees that don't know the difference between an exhaust flange gasket and a bagel. The guys here know their stuff, and can actually answer questions rather than be automatons that rely soley on the computer to look things up and end up giving you the wrong part half the time. What they don't have in stock is delivered within the day, or at worst, the following day if you stop by late afternoon after the day's deliveries. They are helpful, crusty, and bad-ass old school car guys that cut to the chase rather than lollygag over a keyboard asking how many doors and what color your car is to determine what oil viscosity it takes. If you're a fan of harbor freight and the look of deer caught in headlights, then maybe Pup Boys & O'Smilies is for you... but if you want quality, the right part, and good advice related to anything automotive... then All Car Parts is for you... just don't ask for relationship advice from these guys. This is the best parts place I have ever dealt with. All the guys I have talked to are very knowledgeable and helpful. They are a true, old school pro shop. They will do whatever they can to help. In fact one day Louis even had George deliver a tool to me when I was stranded in the hills. That is SERVICE! George was great, the part was a little too small and he had his personal one with him that was larger and helped me out. Lyle is the man! Swung by a couple months back for car wash supplies. The place reminded of the locally owned auto parts stores I used to frequent with my Dad when I was a kid back in Ohio. Priced a battery while there and it was 20-30% lower than anywhere else for an Interstate battery with a 5 year warranty. Finally made it back last week to pick it up. Was a dope and forgot to bring my tools. Lyle lent me his and even helped with the install despite the 100+ degree heat bearing down that day! Will go here first everytime.
