Have driven by this place so many times and finally decided to give them a try. This place is such a money grab. Always wanting to do the most. Come in for a annual check up leave almost paying $500 for all the suggested tests and shots they want to do. The front desk is so unfriendly its akward walking in. Someone really needs to take pride in the exterior of the business. You've got a homeless person living on the side of the building leaving all their trash along the deck and foil full of drugs in the area our pets go potty! Thank you to all at All Creatures! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff is always friendly and competent, and prices are fair! You can tell, they are all there for love of animals. The assistants are just wonderful and handle the animals very lovingly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (btw: if you say TL:DR, where is the billing experience, read further below at +++) Our Bella-Pooh (a little 9 pound maltipoo) has several typical problems. They keep them under control, and made me aware of what to look for, and to keep her off leash as much as possible, because of her collapsing trachea. We've been taking our doggies there for well over 25 years, maybe even longer. Bella is our 3rd now, and they always take good care of her :) They have several doctors, and do exchanges for vacation coverage etc with other clinics, so chances are you may not get the same vet every time, but they are all great and do the right thing every time. When we first got Bella-Pooh in 2019, we took over her diet from the previous owner, not knowing it would make her sick. BTW: Lesson learned here, NEVER buy Dream Bone treats. They are like bubble gum for dogs, and Bella-Pooh was NUTS for them! It turned out they have what I later learned are sugar-alcohols, known as toxic for dogs, and highly addictive. No clue, why any manufacturer would mix this in. This stuff was like heroin for Bella, and I think the makers know that and don't care except for sales! I cut her off Dream Bone, and her liver and gall bladder recovered, but this could have deadly! She now gets Milk Bone dog biscuits, the bone shaped crackers, and she is not addicted to them, taking a few days to crunch a handful of them, so those are MUCH better and cause no trouble at all! Anyway, the team kept her over night on a drip, and she was better, but had a swollen liver and gall bladder, so they put her on medicine for 2 weeks. That was early 2020, when she was not 8 yet. Now she is 13, and still hops on the couch and my bed, like a young pup, always by my side, thanks to All Creatures' care. With a lean new diet, and no more Dream Bone treats, she is now almost like a little pirate, and formerly shy little Bella-Pooh (who would not even sniff anything she did not know) even tried to steal Pizza off a low coffee-table a few weeks ago, like everybody's favourite caped super-hero cartoon-dog Snoopy! All Creatures made it possible! +++ A word to those complaining about bills: If we had to pay for our doctor visits out of pocket, it would be in the thousands every time we need treatment! Veterinarians go through as much schooling as human doctors, between 8 (bare minimum) and 12 years, even more for some surgical specialties! What, you did not know that? So, yes, I had several occasions over the years, where things looked bad, and it cost anywhere between 200 and close to 1000 dollars, but those few times were life-saver situations! Again, consider the schooling and their student loans they end paying for. Now compare all that to human MD bills, and this place suddenly is dirt cheap in comparison! I am 61 now and disabled on nothing but Social Security after 2 heart attacks and a stroke, so money is TIGHT after rent is paid. If I can dig into that credit card, not waste gas and money by staying at home and not getting fast food, so can you. I have no sympathy for the complainers, because this clinic really has good prices! read more

My previous review should begin by saying all Staff are professional, yet personable and friendly. I am unable to edit or correct it. Brought our Jack Russel, Jake, who is a regular here, in for the third time during the last 17 month Covid period. Just routine immunizations and well check maintenance visits. I Really appreciate curbside drop off and pick up. I wouldn't mind if this system of the process stayed at least as an option once we have put Covid behind us. It is much less stressful waiting in the car. When I drag him into the waiting area we are both stressed, he doesn't do well with other dogs so I get nervous and he senses that. Plus he is nervous about what will be happening to him and/or why he is there. So having him walked straight into his appointment from the car and then straight back to it after, is much less stressful for us. I prefer it. He is always happy and healthy when we are done. It was a very busy Friday (6/11/21) around 3:00 in the All Creatures Parking Lot. The very kind Staff member who had taken and brought Jake back saw a mom and son who had just had to leave their dog for the final time were having a difficult time walking away, understandably. Rather then pressing on to get Customers processed and avoiding an uncomfortable moment she not only went over to comfort them with words of assurance that their pet would get the best attention and care throughout but took time to explain to me that she was not keeping me waiting to visit but Console. I would certainly need that Compassion if I were in that situation so I am greatfull they care about their patients owners as much as the patients themselves. You guys really are Hero's. read more

If you need anything other than basic like shots etc. then go elsewhere. They do not provide effective or knowledgeable treatments. They are more of a finance company than actually a place that will care for your pet. if they recommend overnight to treat your pet then take them to a 24 hour facility. It may cost you more at the moment, but your pet will be taken care of better and not have to suffer for ineffective treatments that will end up you having to take them to the ER anyways. read more

So we have been using All Creatures for a little while now from a personal friend that also works there (She is absolutely amazing) Heather truly loves these animals that she helps. And bigger all the people here are absolutely amazing. I have been in multiple times with our little Frenchie pup. And just had him fixed as well as a recommendation on a surgery to help his overall quality of life. The soft palet/nares procedure. Went well he's still recovering but the follow-up they did was great. Now... The hard part no one ever wants to say goodbye to a Dog. Our Luna was our doggo since the week my wife and I were married. She lived 15yrs and last week we had to say goodbye to her. Allcreatures helped us with this process. And was so amazing with our family and our daughter that loved our pup so deeply. If any place deserves 5stars. Truly it is All Creatures. And all the staff here. We will forever remember how they treated the process during a very hard time for our family. read more

Our dog had a raging toe infection, starting in September. Took her in, they did a procedure and sent us home with anti-biotics and pain pills. 3 week later, infection still there, not healing so back we go for another surgical procedure, remove the entire toenail. Home again with anti-biotics and pain meds. Now we are weeks down the road and it appears to be healing, looking much better. They want us to bring her in and smooth out the surface of the toenail. 2 days after the visit the infection is back, with a vengeance. It was absolutely horrid. Pus leaking, bleeding and just horrible. This infection was the worst of all of them by far. She has been in a cone and booties since September. I've had enough, new vet - shocked at the reason behind smoothing out the toenail, not much to smooth out it's barely there. New vet, new meds, no nervous dog. Meds are working and things are much better at the new place. Never going back. Such a horrible experience for my girl, can't play, can't go on walks for months. Just sad that they've fallen so far from what they used to be. I would check around if I were looking for place to take my pet and avoid this one. read more

Ms LR, the doctor who attended to his needs was very nice, soft spoken and pleasing to talk to, as well as lady assisting her, Ms KKC. my dog had cancer and declined very quickly. I had spoken to you guys before about euthanasia when he got bad. I had him scheduled initially but changed my mind as he started to improve. I was told to call back when I was ready. He took a turn this last weekend and it was time. Called 5 different times and got no answer after that I decided maybe they were a little busy but still went to see if they can check my dog with a pretty serious wound. I've been going here 5 years with my dog and over the last couple months have been highly unimpressed. The new staff they hired are not experienced. Today the lady who was supposed to dermal my dogs nails only did a few nails and still charged me full price. I sent him with a bag of treats like I always do. They normally give him a few during the process. Today they gave him the whole bag which was half full and told me next time I needed to bring a full bag of treats if I expected them to do all his nails.... WHAT?? Who gives a dog a full bags of treats in one day let alone one sitting... I'll be finding a new vet. read more

They are caring, responsive and run an excellent clinic. We have a senior dog with many allergies and issues and they have been able to get her in the best shape she has been in a couple years. Our 3 pets (2 cats and 1 dog) have been patients here for the last 3 years and I can't say enough great things about the whole clinic and staff! I always tell people that I appreciate how friendly and helpful the staff is here, but we had an exceptional experience this last weekend that saved our cat from additional pain and suffering, and saved us tons of money. One thing I especially appreciate about this clinic is being able to call and speak to someone who is knowledgeable as soon as the phone is answered. Our male cat was experiencing discomfort on Saturday and the staff member who answered the phone was able to tell me that it could be a possible blockage, instead of a UTI, after I explained what I witnessed. The staff member told me why it was so important to make a trip to the emergency vet, what to watch for, sent me an article on feline urinary health, and scheduled us for an appointment that Monday. Unfortunately, their schedule was full that day, which I understood as it was later in the day at that point. I took our cat to the emergency vet shortly following that call and it did turn out to be that crystals were forming in his urine, which was causing pain and would cause a blockage if not treated. We caught it early because their helpful and knowledgeable team member took the time to discuss the situation with me instead of just telling me that the schedule was booked for the day. Even when calling around to find an emergency vet, I was told that they were all booked without listening to what was going on, so I'm glad I called All Creatures first and they were able to explain the urgency of a blockage. I seriously can't thank their team enough! Our cat is on his road to recovery (without any major intervention). read more

We recently switched from another clinic when our long time veterinarian moved here. First visit with our puppy for his wellness exam and to get him established with the clinic. I could not be more happy with the service and visit. Everyone I spoke with was outstanding - from when I called to make the appointment, to leaving afterwards! Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The clinic was very clean with no odors. The two ladies at the front desk, the technician, Maria, and our vet, Dr Pam, all were outstanding. We've used several veterinary clinics in the area over the years, and I have yet to see one with this efficiency. The technician took all the info we provided and entered it into his records, including his vitals, his microchip scan, food he eats, and any concerns I had. As our vet examined him, all the info was entered into his record. No scribbling on a chart! Some other things I found refreshing with this clinic: separate doors for dogs and cats, being able to settle account in exam room without having to go back to reception, and a separate exit door. This means less opportunity for pets to be exposed directly to sick (and/or cranky) animals. Nice job, team! read more

My family of Pets have been clients of All Creatures Animal Hospital almost from the beginning of their practice. We've had everything from bunnies to puppies as our furry family of pets and Dr. Sig Nottingham and his staff have always been highly skilled, welcoming, professional, and compassionate throughout these many years. Our Dachshunds Rebecca and Chloe who were our daughter's children lived happy, long, and healthy lives in large part due to the care received from the doctors, and staff. When our Dachshunds lives ended the compassion and care by all of the staff was amazing, comforting and beyond the expected. In 2010 my wife received our Maltese Sadie Jane for Valentines Day. Sadie was the runt of the litter and became a wonderful addition to our family. When it came to Veterinarian care there was no question that All Creatures would take care of our sweet Sadie. With my wife passing too soon in October, Sadie Jane became my constant companion for these 7 years. She brought such joy, comfort, unconditional love, and asked for little in return. All she needed was food, water, and a daily cleaning of her powder room! She wasn't fond of the weekly scrub behind the ears but she liked the treats afterward. All Creatures was an important part of her wonderful care and she thrived under the watchful eyes of Dr. Green, Dr. Preston, and Dr. Nottingham. Recently Sadie became very ill and was treated with the best care medicine could offer. Sadie had times of what seemed like normalcy, and then times of illness. She deteriorated quickly and I was able to take her to see Dr. Nottingham who is the most caring, compassionate, and brilliant Veterinarian at All Creatures to discuss quality of life options. Sadie's suffering, agony, and pain ended that day surrounded by loving, caring, and compassionate people. It was a celebration of Sadie's life on earth and her journey to the next stage over the Rainbow Bridge. There are no words that exist to express my appreciation for the wonderful care on Tuesday, and throughout the many years with our medical family. Thank you Hope, Cathy, Corrine, and Dr. Sig Nottingham for everything. I couldn't be more disappointed in the lack of loyalty and curt office staff. We had all three of our dogs seen at this clinic for 10 years. We moved away for a few years and our last dog passed away 2 years ago. We just rescued a beautiful new dog and she is in great need of care. We trusted All Creatures for years and were even willing to drive 40 minutes to come to their clinic, BUT when I called yesterday the girl who answered and was so matter of fact and didn't seem to have an ounce of empathy in her voice said they won't see our new dog because they're no longer taking new patients. COME ON! Really?! We supported your business for 10 years, PLUS have referred other multi-pet families to your office and you won't let us come back to you?? I was told by this not so friendly office person that she didn't call the shots and she would ask a manager when they got in on Monday. We shall see what happens here...I'll update this review with more stars IF they decide we are worthy of their business. There should be exceptions for long standing families who've brought them multiple other clients. I've been taking my animals to All Creatures for years. I always thought they were over priced but figured it was for my dogs benefit. I have had the worst experience with them this past week to the point where I decided this place is no longer safe for my dogs. Let me explain. My Golden Retriever recently gave birth and was due for her annual check up. I called All Creatures to schedule an annual check up and discussed concerns that I had, post birth. I was told she WASN'T emergent and we can schedule a time for her to be seen the next day. I was asked if 0800 was okay. I was hesitant as I wouldn't be able to make the appointment and my boyfriend would need to take her. I was offered an afternoon appointment but decided the 0800 was better. My boyfriend took my nursing dog to her "appointment" he was told it was drop off and it should take at least an hour. Given how we're not allowed in the building due to COVID regulations, we didn't think anything about it. THREE HOURS WENT BY. I'm a nurse and was delivering life into this world when I get the text that my boyfriend is still waiting on our dog. I immediately get scared for my dog and call All Creatures. I was then told that she didn't have an appointment but that she was being seen IN BETWEEN appointments. I explained to the receptionist that she is a nursing mother and she can't be away from her puppies this long and that her dad is in the parking lot and I would have preferred she would have stayed with him instead of a kennel (something my girl has never been accustomed to). During this time, they noticed she was dehydrated and gave her fluids, only they never let her outside to potty. I finally insisted that she needs to go home. Paid the bill and saw she didn't even get her annual check up and I was charged a kennel fee. So I called again. This time I asked for a manager. The manager called me back the next day and kept trying to put the blame on one employee when it was a team effort. The manager clearly doesn't know the medical side of taking care of an animal and kept repeating herself that we didn't actually have an appointment. She had no understanding that her hospital was borderline animal abuse. 1- giving someone fluids and not allowing them to urinate for 3 hours, 2- caging someone without their parents consent or knowledge, 3- knowingly keeping someone from nursing her babies for hours. This would have continued possibly the entire day had I not called and complained so much. If you read this whole review, I love my girl just as much as I love my children. I would NEVER let someone treat my child this way. No one took responsibility for the mistreatment of my girl. read more

We have been clients at All Creatures Animal Hospital for 18 years, and we have seen a few of the doctors and staff leave All Creatures for relocation or better opportunities over the years. However we have NEVER been let down, disappointed, or felt any negativity during any changes in the 18 years of being clients at All Creatures. We were so sad when Dr Andrew Sattler moved to Ohio and left All Creatures; but Dr Nottingham and Dr Lindner found a GREAT replacement in Dr Green and the other vets who have since joined All Creatures Animal Hospital. The doctors and staff at All Creatures are top notch and without their devotion to their clients and the ability to understand that we don't all walk around with a spare $1500 in our wallets we would have been lost years ago. We even had one of the vets take our dog home to their house and set up a 24 hour intensive care unit for our pup because we were out of money and options after our sweet girl having been in the ER and under the hospital's care for more then a week already. You show me a vet that would take home a clients dog and administer life saving care and not charge a dime; and I will guarantee that you are looking and and talking about All Creatures Animal Hospital!! read more

I have been taking my pets here for almost 20 years and always had good experiences. Until the last couple of years. Once i spent almost $1,000.00 on tests trying to find out what was wrong with a new pup we had. I found out they had not preformed one very important, simple and cheap test. I insisted they do it and when they did it was exactly what I thought, Giardia! My pup was sick for 5 weeks, and it was a parasite that can be taken care of in a few days. I was angry at that particular vet and they should of refunded me for all the unnecessary tests they did. I have not been there in awhile but I brought my cocker in because she wasn't eating, she was falling forward, and just acting very strange. I have always taken her there since she was a pup and she is 11 now. The vet examined her, did a CBC etc and nothing came back showing any problems. But because she had some dark poo he put her on an anti-biotic??? Once I got home I realized he had never looked in her ears or her eyes. I see my dog falling forward trying to get a drink of water. So I did some checking and I am 100% convinced my dog is experiencing dizziness. She isn't eating obviously because when your dizzy you feel a bit nauseated. So once again I spent $200.00 bucks for absolutely NO reason. I will never take my dogs there every again. Their prices are outrageous as well. They used to be very reasonable and more caring until they got more patients (and not enough vets) and money hungry.
