Since moving out here a little over a year ago this is the second time I've brought my fur babies here for a check up. Both times I have been very happy. The waiting area is large, clean, and comfortable. The people at the front desk are friendly and welcoming. The exam rooms are clean and a reasonable size for pets to wander around in. I've seen two different vets and both have been very friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Both times I felt my cats were in great hands. They have listened and responded to my questions and concerns respectfully. As well as handled my cats gently and with obvious care and skill. I'm thankful we've found such a nice Veterinary clinic near by.

I have a blue fronted Amazon parrot with a dirty vent. I noticed it over the weekend, and talked to a few vet hospitals to see if I could get him in over the weekend, but didn't have confidence in the conversations I had or they were closed till Monday. Decided to wait till Monday, and after reading reviews and reached out to All Creatures Great and Small. From the caring receptionist to the wonderful vet and her assistant, they were wonderful with my bird. He hasn't been to a vet in many years and typically does not have good bird manners. The vet who took care of him had a parrot growing up and knew just how to handle him. They diagnosed his problems, took care of his nails, and sent me home with Instructions on how to get him well again. Everything went great. Thank you so much for your compassionate care of my old friend.

The building is big and beautiful, clean, the parking lot is spacious. I called ahead and gave everyone background on my dog including that he does not like other dogs. It was easy for me to get him in, they had the room ready and waiting. The doctor reception and vet techs were all very professional and efficient. I am a very straight to the point person and they listened and helped me accomplish my goals without any fuss. Highly recommend. I was also pleased with the prices and ease of access to get my dog is medications. Very nice job All Creatures!

I took both of my dogs to All Creatures Great and Small since they were puppies which was 16 years ago. They are kind, compassionate, patient and some of the greatest people I have ever known. My first dog passed away in 2016 and Dr. Ken was so incredibly kind during the whole process. I just lost my second dog a couple of weeks ago and there was not a dry eye in the room and Dr. Bowes was so incredibly wonderful and let me take my time saying goodbye. They truly care and always go above and beyond, I am so grateful for this practice.

This is Gabby ! The dog this pet hospital refused to let in as she was dying outside in the parking lot on Friday afternoon.

Even on a packed July 4th, when emotions were high and the waiting room was full, the team treated us with genuine care and patience. Lindsay, our Vet Tech, guided us through a frightening moment with such calm compassion that it made all the difference. She didn't rush us, didn't brush off our concerns -- she took the time to explain what was happening and made sure our puppies felt safe and comforted. Sherry also stepped in with incredibly helpful knowledge about keeping our puppies healthy moving forward. She offered practical advice, real insight, and made sure we understood every option available. What stands out most is how much they care. I've been coming here for years with all my pets' emergencies, and this visit reaffirmed it: if I ever need an emergency vet hospital, without question, it will always be VCA Arboretum.

Our dog partially tore her CCL last November so we scheduled a consult with Dr. Przywara. Right from the start we knew we were in great hands. He did his initial observation of our dog and then came to talk to my husband and I. He was so kind and reassuring, and he was INCREDIBLY thorough. He sat with us for over 45 minutes explaining the anatomy of a canine knee, the injury our dog had, the options to fix it, and answering any and all questions we had. He never pressured us into anything and helped to give us the information we needed to make the right decision. Although we tried a few nonsurgical therapeutic options first, we ultimately decided to do TPLO surgery in February in an effort to get our girl back to 100%. Dr. Przywara did a fantastic job. He and his whole surgical team kept us informed and gave very good and detailed instructions for recovery. They made a tough recovery so much easier. Our girl is now 9 weeks post TPLO and is almost back to 100%! At the end of our final recheck appointment when thanking Dr. Przywara for all of his work with us and Kona, he said "this is why I got into this profession - to help good dogs and good people." And THAT tells you everything you need to know - he's the exact kind of vet you want taking care of your dog!

My older one is turning ten years old and it has been an emotional year with injuries related to aging. She had dental surgery a couple weeks ago, and then a tear in her knee shortly after from normal wear-and-tear. I feel as though Dr Testolin saved her life with the latest diagnosis related to her hind knee as if both knees went out, we would be faced with difficult decisions around quality of life and we're nowhere near ready for that. We have another surgery coming up to repair the knee mechanics and hoping for a postive outcome; she's a very active dog and we would love to continue this amazing journey, especially now that she's big sister to her hooman baby brother. There's no words to describe the comfort they provide for our pets and thank you doesn't seem like enough. We have faced very high-stress situations this year, especially with a newborn but knowing they're around is a major relief. Dr Finan and her team are the best at what they do and Dr Testolin's care has allowed both of our pups to live their best lives. The journey and memories have been amazing and we're looking forward to many more, thank you to everyone at Finan Animal Hospital - Best, Charlie

Didn't ask for any money back, didn't make a big deal. Just said what she felt was incorrect and why. Well, she must have taken it personal as when she called again to make an appointment, she was told because of the complaint, they would no longer see her pup. Boy, talk about great customer service!! I'll be sure and spread the word if you voice your concerns they won't see you again.

We have since learned that the surgery should not have been performed for a variety of reasons and will not return to this practice. Note that this review is centered around cat treatment; hopefully the practice is more knowledgeable and compassionate to other animals, but the multiple issues we ran into should give anyone pause before bringing their pet here. When first visiting, Dr. Torok examined our kitten who had grade IV luxating patellas, the most severe grade. She let us know we would need to do surgery at 11-12 months old, when our cat was fully grown, to fully correct her knees. She also firmly expressed that in order to ensure the most successful surgery and avoid any complications, we should do a preliminary surgery ASAP to try and relieve some of the tension in her legs due to the severity of her luxation. If not, it would get "harder and harder and harder" to perform the final surgery at ~1 year old. We scheduled and had surgery performed that week as, at the time, we believed that it was the correct thing to do. Two weeks post-surgery, we had bandages removed because of swelling in our cat's foot, during which she was screaming the entirety of the time. Dr. Torok and team confirmed she had a wound on her toe. They proceeded to affirm that she was not screaming because of pain and we shouldn't be concerned, administered an antibiotic for the toe, and re-bandaged it. The following day, I called the practice as our cat had seemed very uncomfortable. Whenever she moved, she would scream/cry, and she had trouble getting comfortable enough to sleep even with pain-relievers and a sedative. Honestly, I wasn't sure if this was typical post-surgery/bandage removal. The tech said she spoke with Dr. Torok and, "Dr. Torok said she shouldn't be too uncomfortable". No mentions of increasing her gabapentin, or even acknowledgement that she could be in pain. We later took her to an ER where they confirmed she was very, very painful even after several pain-relieving meds and sedation. This is what caused alarm bells to start going off for us - this practice, which claims to be "fear-free", did not trust us nor our animal when showing signs that she was in extreme pain. We decided to transfer her care to MedVet and met with a surgeon that week to confirm we were following appropriate aftercare so our cat would recover well from surgery and get back to living her life as a kitten. They delivered the jarring news that this surgery should not have been done on a cat so young, should never be done on both legs at the same time, and she should not have been bandaged from the waist down to her toes. We now have to go to physical therapy for the next several weeks to help our cat regain her range of motion, care for her injured toes from the bandages, and then follow through with corrective surgery when she is one year old. Both us and our cat are incredibly distraught. I wish Dr. Torok had realized that this surgery was out of her depth and referred us to an orthopedic specialist as opposed to rushing us to do a surgery that, ultimately, may end up hurting our poor cat (beyond the pain that she is already experiencing). We relayed feedback regarding this surgery and our experience to the practice, and they did end up issuing a partial credit to us, but unfortunately no monetary value can be assigned to the distress we have experienced. As a final note to anyone that this makes a difference to, I learned after our visits that they perform declaws. I'm not sure the extent to which these are performed, but hopefully someone from the practice can comment so others are informed prior to choosing this as their practice.

I was really worried about my cat Bella and she needed to go under anesthesia so I was procrastinating a little since she is my little laughter and has asthma. Dr. Berg cares so much that she has even answered my emails after hours. Jordan is always on top of everything as well including immediate calls and emails too which I am sure she gets employee of the month a lot (jk, but she should with how helpful she is). I have had many vets in my life depending on where I was living. Now that I am a home owner, I'm grateful to have such a wonderful vet close by. I can't say enough good things about this establishment since everyone is always so nice, which is very calming especially when you go in there stressed or worried (like most of the time besides buying special food). Dr. Grover is very good and a real nice guy as well though Dr. Berg has been my main doc since she saved Bella's life and it's just worked out that way since I met her first. Dr. Berg and Jordan have probably put extra time in too for me since I send videos (asthma attacks) and we have established a great business relationship and they know how worried I am about my "little princess" as well as my car accident from being hit by the "texting driver". They have a great team there too and are all in sync with each other. Everyone at the front desk are extremely positive and helpful too so it has a wonderful atmosphere. Update: Bella, 12 years of age is now acting 5 years younger and has double the energy. She seems very happy now that her pain seems to be gone as well as she is waking me up at sunrise to open the blinds so she can watch the birds and etc. Her asthma has got a lot better too so I really can't express how happy I am to see her happy again! She is even playing hockey with her ball and loves her toys again. It puts a smile on my face even in these hard times of the pandemic. Thanks Dr. Berg, Jordan, and the staff for everything!
