Awesome food and service! Something for everyone from all day breakfast to bottom less mimosa

Ended up eating here after finding the place next door does not allow anyone under 21 inside. Overall impressed, everyone ate all their food and seemed to like it but nothing to write home about. In all we had, Mac and cheese, portabella meatloaf, chicken pot pie and chislic. The waitresses seemed new as she couldn't answer any questions we had on the menu and recommended very odd food; Mac and cheese kids style and farmhouse breakfast because she likes hash browns?? Interesting choices and definitely not recommendations. She couldn't explain food or portion sizes either, but I'm hoping with some training she will get this figured out. Overall, we liked the food we did order and would maybe come back if we were in town. read more

Well first I'd like to say I've been completely over satisfied with this place I loved loved the creative menu - for the falls ahead of it time I know this person wasn't from the falls .There's were the problem is - don't think the chefs can understand I'm paying more for a sandwich ' and it's good but last night it wasn't. ..I really enjoy the chicken and the crab cake sand hell everything & the mussles I'm mean fresh nobody has fresh wow. But wasn't up to par ....we stopped on around 6 got a table and our server was ok she's been better but yeah ever one has moments .I was told the chef left--and I think I hope I run into his talent somewhere here in sf cause I don't think this place can RUN with the chefs there. No talent.....and its going to be like every other restraunt soon. Shame read more

Stopped for breakfast and so glad we did. It was excellent, and our waitress Ashley was the best. It was like a home cooked breakfast and the atmosphere was really nice. Absolutely delicious! We had a cinnamon roll, original French toast, side of sausage patties, toast and blackberry jam, and the original breakfast plate with eggs and bacon. Everything we ate couldn't have been better! The sausage was the best I've had with the perfect rosemary flavor! read more

First time to try this Sioux Falls restaurant. Very beautiful layout, w as r and inviting. Bright interior with awesome woodwork. Service was spot on from Sarah B. The food was very good. Spinach-Artichoke dip was good, hot and melted with warm pita bread and salted chips. The Turkey wrap was huge! Great taste with greens, cheese, bacon - would have been fine with half the size. I will remember that for next time. Gorgeous patio seating outside but too warm this time of day to try it. Great Choice! read more

For our first actual visit to Sioux Falls, my friends and I decided on brunch here. It was a pretty warm day with decent wind so we decided to sit out on the patio. We were happy with our experience and the food. The service was great, our waitress being prompt and answering our questions. Traveling thru SD to get to the east coast. Came in for a quick bite before hitting the road. Sat for over 5 mins waiting for coffee or even water. Finally served ourselves coffee and then the waitress showed up. Another patron retrieved an extra plate for themselves and then the bar tender came around with coffee refills. Great food and a great patio! Patio is walled with glass so it blocks most of the wind. The brunch menu has some great options and best of all they serve grits (not common in Midwest). There's a coffee bar with options from basic drip to iced lattes, and full bar with cocktail options. They have a nice gift shop by the host stand. If you need a last minute gift like stenciled wine glasses, magnets, funny cards, etc. Definitely worth stopping in if you haven't tried it before! read more

Having just moved to Sioux Falls from the south, my fiance and I had been looking for a good brunch place. The bread gods descended from on high onto our table after ordering the OMG French Toast and the Chicken and Waffles. Seriously, the OMG French Toast is what all French toast aspires to be, and the chicken - topped with a delectable and surprising bit of bacon and a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg - was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. On top of that our server, Nikki, was wonderful and attentive. This is easily going to be our go-to brunch place from now on, and we'll definitely be bringing family here whenever they come visit. read more

We decided to try this place today due to a brunch craving and it was actually pretty good. We sat at the bar to avoid a wait on a table, but the bar was just fine for us. The bartender was extremely pleasant and attentive. He had a very positive attitude which is always nice. I went with the Crab Benny. Delicious. I lived down in the Austin, Tx area the last year and am new to Sioux Falls. I have been greatly homesick for Texas and refreshingly, this place reminded me of this brunch spot down in ATX. The feel of the decor, food, and atmosphere all helped to give me a taste of what I've been missing and I was grateful for that. read more

I've never had a bad meal at the All Day Cafe. This is just a great place to eat. Great service, friendly staff and reasonable pricing. Never had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes for a table at busy times. One of my favorites! read more

We've been working our way through the menu and here are some recommendations: OMG French Toast, Garden Omelette, Easy Plate, Bacon Benny, and the Southwest Omelette. I do not recommend the Chili Verde Huevos Rancheros; the flavors just don't work imo. read more

Hash browns were cold, omelets burned, restaurant, including both bathrooms, was dirty, and several employees were just standing around by the front counter. Wait service was good, though. A decent breakfast for a reasonable price. We stopped mid-morning for breakfast on a Friday. The restaurant wasn't that busy and we were seated right away. The service was not the best. The waitress kind of just seemed like she was there to make money. She was friendly enough but didn't seem to like being there too much. We each ordered and omelette, which came out fairly quickly. The hashbrowns were crispy, and the "morning bread" was toasty warm. The omelettes were cooked adequately. Overall, good food, but nothing outstanding or "to die-for". read more

The jalapeño cheese curds were quite exquisite until you reach the bottom of the bowl, they are very greasy. The OMG French toast was very soggy, you couldn't taste the French toast because the syrup overtook it. The Ice cream Brookfield Sandwich is very good, the bottom of the sandwich is not the best in my opinion as it is soaking in the cherry juice. read more

One star is a great benefit to this establishment. We went for an early dinner on Saturday night and took twice the estimated time to seat. Once seated, our waitress was very inattentive. Our food was palatable, but definitely not worth the price they're asking. Once dessert came to be ordered, we ordered the red velvet creme brûlée. It was very creme, not so much brûlée. Also, the spoon that came with dessert had a label stuck to the bottom. All in all, this place tries far too hard, and fails miserably. All in all: the meal experience was worth $20, not $40. Save yourself the trouble and head to Original Pancake House, Cracker Barrel or Bracco. read more

Way to go Sioux Falls. Finally a nice breakfast cafe to relax at. Since living on both east and west coasts over the last 14 years I come back to visit infrequently and was always shocked and disappointed there wasn't at least one upscale cafe to go to for breakfast...they even have a patio for the nice months. Decor is fabulous and it feels cozy. I had the sirloin and eggs. I always judge a breakfast cafe by how well they can cook an egg, my over medium was perfect. Steak was a small petite thick cut. The jam for toast was homemade Rhubarb Strawberry, excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. They had almond milk for my coffee, which even in this health conscious era is still tough to find at a Cafe. All they need is some all natural Stevia for sweetener vs the crappy sugar substitutes if I had any recommendations I could add. read more

Best breakfast place on earth. I always order the caprese Benny and I'll never get tired of it. They also have a pepper vodka Bloody Mary and oh my goodness, I could drink one of those every day. Expect this place to be a bit busy, especially on the weekends! read more

Went for Sunday lunch. Was told it would be a 40 min wait and we got sat in 20. Our server explained the menu very well and answered all our questions. I had the Country Club sandwich with the daily veggies and it was yummy. I will def be a returning customer. read more

The place gave me the impression of an up scale cafe. I was in my "normal" vacation t-shirt as well as shorts and felt under dressed. The service was good with the immediate response from the waitress but then again there were not many people dining at 6:30pm on a Monday. The food and drinks came in a timely manner and the food was excellent. So why the three stars? I would have given the place a 3.5 but Yelp doesn't allow for that. I rounded down because of the overall dining experience. I couldn't put my finger on it but it was something. We ate on the outside dining patio and it was outstanding, the music, the water feature and the glass fence certainly made for a wonderful meal with our family. I had the breakfast cheddar omelet and my wife had the French toast. Both were above average and I'm picky about my favorite meal. Our kids had the salad and Mac & cheese both good. Overall, I would give it a second chance and you will be satisfied I'm sure. read more

Excellent breakfast location! Went with my friend around 10:00. It was fairly busy, but we were seated right away! The decor was nice. Our service and food were both tasty! I ordered the cafe casserole with eggs, asparagus, ham, potatoes, and hollandaise sauce...fun, creative change! I would recommend for breakfast. read more

I'm a little torn about this place. Seems like a home run -- kind of a unique concept for the area, plus a bar and an entire coffee shop inside the restaurant. Top it off with what looks like a great patio. Where I struggled was with the service. The girl hosting was also the girl running the coffee bar. So we stood at the host stand waiting, looking around for about 5 minutes before anyone said anything. Once she finished the drink she was making, we were seated. She left the menus on the table and walked away. The server wasn't much better, hurrying around even though there were only maybe 4 other tables seated inside, and I'd guess 2 of those were in his section. As a result of the aforementioned understaffing issue, my coffee came out much later than my wife's drip. The food was pretty decent, though my croissant was soggy (likely from sitting under a heat lamp), and my grits had a nice surface film developed (again, heat lamp or microwaved). Flavor wise, it was good. I'm just always concerned when I order food at a place that's empty and it's got fundamental flaws in preparation and service. read more

All Day Cafe is one of my favorite places to go for lunch, especially when meeting friends or meeting for business. The atmosphere is relaxed and it's a great place to sit and talk without trying to compete with obnoxious music or din from other diners (I know this is making me sound like an old crotchety person). My personal menu favorite is the grilled cheese & tomato (cream cheese, tomato, fresh basil, cheddar, provolone, grilled bread) or the caprese benny (poached egg, cheddar biscuit, herb roasted tomato, burrata cheese, balsamic reduction, hollandaise, fresh basil). My husband loves the one crock lasagna and breakfast burrito. Their sweet potato waffle fries are also terrific. I visit Denver quite often and have noticed a few similarities between ADC's menu and the menu of Snooze, which is a local Denver favorite. I wish that ADC would go all out and be as adventurous as Snooze (wild flavors of pancakes, etc) but I understand that they have to play it safe with the market that they're catering. ADC is mostly a breakfast or lunch spot for us and the service has always been great, and I've noticed regular employees manning the floor. We have visited a few times for dinner and I haven't been as impressed- the menu rotates depending on the time of day, and it seems like the service in the evening is a little more spotty. We also tried the Mother's Day brunch buffet last year and it was adequate but wasn't great. Hence, my four stars. read more

Excellent service, diverse breakfast menu & nice decor. We ordered omelets - one cheese/meat combo (can't remember the name) it was a solid 4 stars - very cheesy, light & fluffy. Our other omelette was a mushroom with goat cheese - minimal cheese and all in the center, resulting in only about 4 bites of the omelette having cheese! It also contained Arugula- which had been cooked into the omelette (I'm not a fan). For our side we both ordered "cheesy grits" - the kindest thing that can be said is that they bore zero resemblance to the southern equivalent. IF they contained any cheese it was not discernible and I'm not sure how it's possible to attain a completely smooth texture from grits - but they did - resulting in a completely nasty taste! Our breakfasts came with "Morning Bread" - which is buttered toast. Ho-hum. read more
