Her studio is located in a building that has a few beauty/wellness related business that each have their own suite which I thought was pretty cool. Carmen's suite was cozy (shout out to her jazz playlist) and the complementary snacks are a win. Before we began she asked about my brow waxing journey and how I prefer to have my brows shaped. She walked me through every step of the process from brow mapping (which was a first for me), trim and waxing. I typically have major breakouts/redness after waxing and she was the first person to tell me what these type of breakouts were called and how I can help prevent it for future waxes. Recently, they had someone new do my lashes and she didn't do a great job and I'm sure they were aware of it because they gave me a discount. Some of the extensions were basically glued to my eyelid, causing a buildup of dirt that I couldn't clean properly. When I went in for a fill, they told me they did me a favor by taking all of the old lashes off and not charging me for it. I had been at the salon for 2.5 hours and they asked me to come back the next day for them to put on a few more lashes. I won't be returning.

The room is pretty cozy, clean and soothing. I left my wife in Nael's (the lady that gives the facial cleaning) able hands. I waited in their waiting area, which by the way is very spacious, and includes FREE coffee, water, etc. After about an hour or so my wife steps out with a huge grin. She seems very satisfied and I noticed right away a big difference, her skin is clearer and less blemished. My wife mentioned that Nael was gentle, patient and very good at what she does. Huge plus for me as I don't like putting my bag on the floor. Although no patrons were there at the moment, Dolly attended to me quickly and put on some relaxing music. I requested for my eyebrows to be waxed. She started with wax and quickly asked me if the temperature was ok. Which it surely was. She was very gentle unlike the aggressive type of "rip the bandage off" places I was accustomed too. She then followed up with a little light threading which again was comfortable unlike my past experience elsewhere. I think she plucked one hair with a tweezer and then applied the calming lotion as usual. She asked me check if I liked the result and I gave her two thumbs up. She then offered if I would like to have a tint applied, but my brows are micro bladed and passed. They came out great, thicker than my actual microblading, but I truly wanted it that way. I'm sure if I requested for them to be thinner she would have accommodated. They offer many services and my treatment was only $12! Well worth it!! What a joke! I'm glad I didn't get my brows done there. She probably would've messed them up on purpose. Why give NEW customers attitude? Scheduling: I ended up calling their number because I didn't want my credit card to get charged being I would be paying cash for their Monday-Wednesday gel mani + regular pedi $55 special. I was able to make an appointment over the phone but did see making one on their website was super easy if not going for a special package. Service: I got a gel mani, regular pedi, and had gel nail polish on my fingers to remove. My appointment was 5:15, I was taken at about 5:20, and I got out of there about 6:55. Experience: I got there at 5:14 and just had a 5 minute wait until they were ready for me. In the meantime, I chose my color (Sweet Apricot). My nail tech was Kristi and she couldn't have been nicer. She took her time with the pedicure and manicure and was pleasant throughout it. As a side note, they had the Real Housewives of Rhode Island playing with the sound on which served as the perfect entertainment for the experience. She clearly said 30 bottom, mid 20 and top 5, and when the owner was still there, her employee forgot that she made a mixture and the other mixture was prepared by the owner, and she put 20 bottom, which was not the order the owner said. Since I noticed the mistake, I asked both if they were sure it was not going to mess up my hair and both of them said no. After that, the owner left and while my hair was wet, it seemed good and I thought it was going to be great. But no! the lady left a clear visible line on top and the color was definitely not what I showed them, and on top of that, the lady who did my hair had the audacity of telling me that I was angry since the beginning! unbelievable.... I was disappointed when she mixed up the colors and did not even remember what she put on my hair... and on top of that, she said "I have never had a client like her" and before that she said "we all make mistakes!" but not with someone's hair! specifically, when the person had to go her office looking all ridiculous because someone did not pay attention to what they were doing! my hair is extremely important for me and I'm extremely disappointed, they were nice enough to say we are only charging 175.00 half of the price!!!! really half!
