They put in a lot of time and effort trying to properly diagnose the problem instead of rushing it. I honestly believe part of the issue may have been a low-quality no-name battery with poor reserve capacity that was causing false or inconsistent error codes, which made troubleshooting more difficult. Even with that complication, they stayed patient and worked through it methodically. They were able to narrow things down and make solid progress on identifying the issue. Overall, this is a great team that does quality work at reasonable prices. They are very transparent, communicate well, and clearly take pride in fixing problems properly. I would absolutely go back and use their services again. In fact, I'm going back tomorrow to have them run another diagnostic now that we've replaced the battery with a higher quality brand, just to confirm everything is resolved. So very kind and understanding as they knew she was going through a difficult time. They did a thorough check of her car. She had previously been told she had a transmission leak. These gentlemen did not find it. The "Check Engine" light, fortunately, was related to her tires. The batteries were old. There was some seepage from the brakes, but it was minimal. As for the brakes, they were still in good shape, but will eventually need attention. When she asked how much she owed them for their time, they told us "Zero". No charge! They understood she was going through a difficult time with her husband being in the hospital these past two months and assured her that her vehicle was safe to drive. They did invite her to return in six months for her next oil change and they would check her brakes again. Needless to say, I am so impressed with the kindness these gentlemen showed my neighbor, and that they could have charged her for their time as they did a thorough check of her SUV, but they did not. Instead, they're transparent, matter of fact, and only suggest necessary services or parts at the times when you'll need them. And both times I've been shocked at how inexpensive they are. They even jokingly asked if I wanted them to charge me more after I was so surprised. One tip is to pay in cash to avoid any card fees.
