Up until late spring of 2025. great service - explained all - got my work done quickly and friendly. The management up until late spring is no longer there. A temporary manager filled in during the summer. He was friendly but wouldn't check an issue that I had and told me to come back if it got worse . He was fired but not because of me. I never complained. The new manager is rough around the edges - not sure yet what to make of him. I had them the check out my car for a long trip I was going on - plus to see what was wrong that I had asked about earlier in the summer. Well I received a call after I just saw them saying they had recommended some work done earlier in the year. and they stated I only came in to have that issues looked. They have no record of my car being looked for the road trip. I told them on the phone what I needed when I made an appointment and in person on what was needed. Regarding the recommendation back that they said I needed back In spring - I keep all of my records - that was never recommended and I had work done since then in that area - axil and other parts replaced. They have a managers special going on for the repairs they said I need (back in spring). why now and ask me ? and during a managers special which is on now and why now when I was just there a few days ago. The people behind the counter were not friendly - and even indifferent, which I told them on the phone. They want to repair that damage and make amends. I don't now know. I am going to get an opinion tomorrow before I see them in person next week. read more

Came in for squeaky brakes, had my brake pads replaced and rotors resurfaced. Got the truck back and my ABS light came on (which has never happened on this truck since I've had it). Took it back and they will not fix it without me paying for it. Doesn't feel like a coincidence that a brake sensor is now broken after they were "fixing" my brakes. It was not broken before I took my truck in, so I'm not sure why they would expect me to pay to have it fixed. read more

Had a horrible experience here. We took our van to get the oil changed and they called and said it needed the water pump replaced along with brakes and struts. They charged is $5500 for the work and we have had a cascading storm of issues ever since they touched that water pump. They didn't test anything or check anything else. We have taken it back to them twice trying to get them to fix the issue. They claim the coolant leaking all over the place has nothing to do with the water pump they replaced. We gave them the opportunity to make it right but they chose not to so we took our business elsewhere and they have now lost us as a customer. Do not take your vehicle here. They will not take responsibility for anything they screw up. read more

Came in for VSC & ABS lights and not being to properly shift my car out of park from leaving it at a friends house for a few months while being out of state. Quoted me for thousands of dollars to replace my brake system. Had to go to a different place for them to only need to recalibrate the dashboard sensors and replace my broken brake light, which brake plus did not tell me about. I've been going to Brakes Plus for over 9 years for regular maintenance. I have always asked for a FULL, specifically very detailed FULL diagnostic every time I go.i pay extra. And I tell them I'm driving to CA. Literally once a year, if not more, very specifically ask for a full diagnostic. I assumed this inspection included the transmission BECAUSE IT'S LISTED ON EVERY PAGE as a service they do. Well, turns out they have never serviced my transmission and now it's ruined. When I asked them about, they laughed and talked down to me and insisted they haven't worked on transmissions in years, despite EVERYTHING SAYING OTHERWISE!!!!. I've been a loyal customer, spendinf thousands of dollars here, and now I'm looking at $5000 for a new transmission because these guys were ***holes. read more

My experience here was wonderful. I have a vintage car from the 1970s. Worked on it the best I could but brakes were beyond my skill/tools/time. Took it to a local shop; they called and said the parts were hard to find, it was leaking, couldn't source a brake line, etc, and it would be $3000 just for the rear brakes. Took the car to this Brakes Plus location directly after, just to see what they'd say. Staff were all super nice, didn't seem intimidated, said they could order some parts, and a couple of weeks later they were ready. Kept the car there 2-3 days; called me each day apologizing for the delay - despite the weird parts and fabrication of the brake line - and now the rear brakes are done and work perfectly - for almost a third of what the first shop quoted. Will be bringing my Nissan here for sure. Really appreciate their service and surprising ease with working on a classic car! read more

I have been procrastinating getting my brakes changed because I'm very busy. Well they got to the point where they were grinding and shaking and it was really terrifying to drive back home to Tucson. I called here in the morning and the guy said to bring it over and that they would have it done within three hours. They were excellent. Tracy and Danny both helped me and I was so happy with The service. They were super quick and did not procrastinate to help me when I walked in and they had my car in and out so quick. Took my car to see if I needed an oil change, they said it did and charged me 100$ for it, turns out oil was changed in july and it didnt any oil change for another at least a couple thousand miles. They called me to tell me that i need to replace a gasket cover which took them from 8 hours to do for 500$. I find out you go to another mechanic theyll finish it in 2 hours for half the price. I got a great quote for installing new brake rotors and pads on the front of my Ford Escape, I provided the new parts and for $130 they would install them. While the car was up on the lift I was shown that I needed to replace one of the calipers (saw it and it did need to be replaced). Being at the mercy of having my car up on the stand with the parts just hanging, I agreed to having a new caliper installed. The new price quote went up from $130 to $360. A new caliper with lifetime warranty from Napa is $60, this is absolute price gouging. Their price for the part was over $100 with an additional $30 for fluid flush. Why such a jump in price? I have mechanical knowledge of replacing these parts, so much for convenience of having someone else do such a basic job. read more

These guys are the absolute worst. I had an 11am appointment today. They told me it would take an hour to replace my brake pads and when I came by at 3:30 to pick it up they hadn't even started. This was after the guy at the front desk was condescending to me at check in advising me what kind of car I should have bought instead of a mini cooper. They called me at 4:50, and left a message (I was with a client) to tell me that they ran into a problem and needed to "discuss what I wanted to do" and wanted me to call them back BEFORE then closed EARLY for the night at 5pm. (Their listed hours are until 6pm) The rude af dude who gave me unsolicited car shopping advice assured me when I told him I worked late that they would leave my car in the parking lot for me to pick up after close but instead they locked my car in the garage for night, leaving me in the dark and without a vehicle. I called them back at 5:02 and no one picked up. My sisters went and knocked on their door at 10 after and saw lights on but no one came to the door. Literally a nightmare. I hope they plan to reimburse me for my Uber home to north phoenix and back tomorrow morning. I'm livid. read more

Scam, brought my car to get a part replaced "part was defective" after they did all the work and "test drove it" car felt terrible they closed at 6 had to bring it back the next day, and was charged again for labor for something they failed to realize was a "defective part before installing it. the GM was unfortunately not there so I had no one to talk to. After they "fixed it" for the second time I had to bring it back again because it was making allot of noise, I had to bring it back 3 times for something they did not do correctly and charged me twice for it, only nice person is the guy that rings you up, fuck everyone else. This service here is awful. I'm writing on behalf of my husband. He didn't want to say anything but I will because I don't like the way my husband was treated. My husband stopped his car off in the morning for an oil change and was never contacted to pick it up. My husband had to call them and ask. Then when my husband got there the man was rude no greeting no eye contact. There was money in his arm rest when he dropped the car off. Picked it up and the money was gone. Thankfully it wasn't a lot of money. But on top of poor customer service they also have thieves working there. I don't recommend this place at all. Came to brakes plus(country club and baseline) to get my brakes fixed here since I have the lifetime warranty. First guy tells me I don't have the warranty and would have to pay outright. The manager then comes and says I actually do have it and tells me what I do have to pay to get them fixed. I pay 600 bucks just to leave and the sound is completely worse than before. Bring it right back and the manager says they messed up something on their end. "Fixed" the problem and said if you continue to hear noises after 500!!! Miles to bring it back. Here I am back at brakes plus for them to fix sonething, yet again that they messed up. The noise is horrible and so is brakes plus service. I would recommend buying brakes, watching a YouTube video and doing it yourself.!! read more

This is my go-to shop, they are amazing. I was quoted over $1500 for new shocks and struts from another place and this shop quoted me $900 total, they have a buy three get one free deal and a great deal on labor costs. I've been here three times and the costumer service is great, they are very friendly and attentive. I've been here before for an inspection on my brakes but they found no problem so there was no charge. Also, they offered me a complimentary alignment after my new shocks and struts because I had one done a few weeks ago with them. I trust that I'm getting good quality and value here. read more

I walked in for an appointment and the first representative that came to the front desk was kind and got me what I needed. However, after that customer service would begin to go downhill. I would begin communicating with Chris, a different representative from the first one. He called me over the phone to give me an update because long story short my alignment and suspension are bad. He proceeds to tell me how he was planning on doing services different from the ones that I had asked for. When I told him that weren't the services I asked for, he had to go back and realize that he was going to give me the incorrect services saying something along the lines of, "Oh wow, you did ask for that.". So I am concerned since not only did I think that I have to pay for services that I didn't ask for, but it's like he didn't know what services he was providing me and taking advantage of me during the moment. However, it wasn't Chris making a mistake that made me angry, it was his attitude the whole time afterward. As the conversation continues, he proceeds to be passive-aggressive and condescending. Then he literally remembers my name so that when I go back to pick up my car he can proceed to be rude to me. I walk in to ask for my car and just stood there for a few seconds saying nothing. Afterward, he says, "You're gonna tell me your info?" in a rude tone. Then when he picks up my sheet with my information on it, he proceeds to purposely butcher my name, literally slams my keys on the desk, and then tells me my total. After I pay he says, "Here is your receipt." ... but I didn't receive any paper yet, so obviously I asked politely, "Where is my receipt?" as I am a little confused. He then gets angry and says, "I aM pRiNtinG iT oUt rN." then proceeds to shake his head as if I did something wrong. Being very frustrated I walked out before he gave me my receipt because it was clear he was being disrespectful to me and I wasn't going to stand for it. After this experience, I do not plan to go here to get service again as it seems like this location doesn't care about the customer and the customer's experience. read more
