My name is Duane Dial, I'm using my wife's account because I've never before had cause to write a review and I don't anticipate it happening again. A month ago my Silverado was involved in an accident, it required the replacement of 1 bedside, the back door and the cab corner needed repair. My truck is my baby and the thought of a poor repair was my greatest fear. I've seen work done by many of the large production shops and didn't want my truck hacked together by a shop rushing my truck in/out with time as their priority. Ultra Collision repaired a truck for me in 2002 and I was beyond pleased but knew the chances of the same people working there were slim. Turns out Steve still owns the shop and I actually told him upfront that I returned because of the experience I had in 2002 the difference being I really like this truck and I needed to hear from him that his shop was still able to put that kind of work out because I love this truck and intend to keep it a long time. I told him quality of work was my priority over getting it back soon. He said no problem so I dropped it off the next week. Turns out the Chevrolet door was on factory back order and the dealership sent 3 bedsides out each was damaged in the box. Steve called me to make me aware of the situation and because I told him I'm a bit anal he didn't want to repair a new bedside and planned to wait for a good one. I stopped by to see the new/damaged bedside and the dent was smaller than a door ding. He told me fixing it wasn't an issue but wanted my approval. A door was found out of state but this meant the original completion date was pushed back 3 days. Steve's shop was packed with work and I had a planned vacation so I told him to push my truck aside if need be and I'd pick it up after my vacation, again I told him I wanted it done right so I was in no hurry. I picked the truck up Friday, as I looked it over I found that 2 dents in areas not associated with the accident had been repaired, I asked what I owed him for that and he wouldn't take anything. The color match is perfect and the workmanship was spot on. I've attached pictures, because I asked Steve I wanted to see the process and these are the pictures he sent. I 100% recommend this shop, as it turns out 1 of the guys in the shop told me Steve had personally worked on my truck. I appreciate his way of doing business, he under promised and over delivered. Someone hit and run my car as I went into Fry's to get milk and eggs for my kids late at night. The next morning when I stepped into the garage, I saw the damage from the previous night. I was diving to the eclipse from Yuma to Little Rock Arkansas. I had to meet my daughter at the airport in 3 days. I rear ended someone in my 05 Sprinter in Phoenix. I was so lucky to call Steve's Shop, and he didn't hesitate to take on my truck. When I brought it in, I told him my story, and he drove me to get a rental truck, immediately. Most shops consistently don't like working on Sprinters. Finding parts is difficult, and he had to get them from all over the country and Germany. He was diligent, and kept me informed. Very straight to the point, never sugar coated the situation, and my vehicle turned out perfect. Not only did they have to do all the body work, the front of my motor, radiator and air conditioning was fixed perfectly. High quality, above the call of duty shop. I purchased a new hood -and needed it painted. I told Steve that I had bad experiences with the paint not matching. He said he could do it and we should do the bumper too The end result was anything but that... And the response from Steve - the owner -was that's the best I can do so deal with it... and tried to blame it on the fact that it was fiberglass !???? Even though the bumper that was already on the car and had the original paint before they resprayed it - was completely different shade of color as well the Color tint was so far from the rest of the car...-see pictures- that it actually looked like it was a different color code then what was on the original car. . When I told him I wasn't satisfied with the paint job he did. He got angry with me and was very rude... And instead of offering to correct it-he said it would cost me another thousand dollars to fix it... and when I paid him (of course he wanted cash only) he didn't even work on the bumper and again- he was so rude and told me that this was all he was going to do and that was it !! And he didn't want to hear any more complaints. And he didn't care what I had to say about it... There was nothing more he was willing to do. read more

Once upon a time, there was Gidget the RAV4. Gidget looks a lot like the Taco Bell dog beige and chihuahua shaped, which is where she got her name. Before upgraded from small compacts and sedans, I was hesitant, but soon fell in love and found the value of the small SUV. Gidget treated me well, so well, that when it came time to upgrade her I decided that I would stick with the RAV4 line and along came Raven, the silver haired, Raven the RAV4. Raven was brand new in 2015 but along the way she picked up some scratches and some dents, which I've been putting off as some sort of sadistic life lesson I guess. Recently, in a parking, lot someone backed into her, putting a big dent in her rear liftgate and damaging her bumper, this was not something that could be causally overlooked and away I was to find the best repair shop in town. A few yelp searches later I ran into a handful of shops, some more reputable than others and everyone seemed to have a different price than the shop before them. Many of the places that advertise waiving deductibles seemed extra sketchy and ultimately I decided on Ultra Collision because of their high ratings with previous customers and their convenient location close to my office downtown. I couldn't be happier with the result, the time estimates were within reason, the cost was capped at my deductible and Steve, the owner was friendly and straight forward to talk to. Oh wow, my experience from the very beginning was amazing. Gave me a quote, showed me prices of the tail lights online so I can see where he was getting his pricing from. Ended up being the best price of the quotes I got. The work was done in the 3 days as quoted. The car and special paint with pearl looks amazing. I took in my 09 Nissan Titan needing a new door skin to replace a heavily damaged one. Despite being a Patriots fan, Steve was the kind of guy I want working on my truck. Honest and knowledgeable, the guy took care of me, my truck and delivered on time, keeping his guys late on a Friday so I didn't have to pay for my rental car all weekend. I went to Ultra Collision to get a repair done on the rubber rear bumper on my Acura TL; someone had backed into it right behind the rear tire and taken a gash out of it and broke off the clips holding it on. I explained to the owner Steve that this was going to be below my insurance deductible and so I was going to have to pay out of pocket, and he made me a great deal AND also fixed two scuffs on the corners of my front air dam (I did those), explaining that he would already have the paint so it was no big deal. It all looks like new again! He did great work, got it done in two days and even gave me a ride home when I dropped it off (I live just a couple miles from the shop). I'll admit I was heartened when I walked into his office and it was FILLED with Boston Red Sox memorabilia (he and his wife are from Rhode Island, I found out), since I am from Vermont myself.
