I really liked Dr. Trinh! He is very nice and professional, and just the kind of doctor I was hoping for. They had new equipment, the exam was thorough, and it was a very relaxed experience. I also appreciated the assistance of the young lady who helped me select flattering glasses afterward. My only disappointment was that I was initially told my glasses would be ready in 1 week. We are new to the area and all wear glasses. We saw the great reviews on Yelp and were in need of a new Optometrist as a family. The Dr. visit was great. The Dr. was patient and thorough with our 14 yr old son. Unfortunately, what will not have us returning is the lack of customer service and patient care of the staff. They came off as inflexible and policy driven. After spending almost $700 out of pocket for my husband and my glasses, our plan was to have our son get the glasses online because he likes to have variety and they are less costly if he loses them. Also, we didn't love the selection for him in house. When we called to get the measurements needed to place an online order with his new perscription we were told the office did not have the measurements we needed to order them online ( I was there when they took them), then when I called back we were told it would be an ADDITIONAL fee to get the information. It wasn't a lot, but that on top of the fact that we had just spent another $150 for a coating my husband had opted out of the first time. He was not aware of how much they would be charging if he wanted to add this after the fact. It was WAY more than we were expecting after spending over $300 out of pocket for just his glasses already. We also had an additional $35 fee so that they did not have to dilate my sons eyes. Dilating wasn't an option because he had homework to do that evening. Each fee is not the end to the world, but one after the other is alarming. Especially since we have what I consider decent insurance. I understand policies, insurance coverage and why they may charge extra for the measurements to try to keep the sale in house, but why make your customers feel like this over a few dollars? Our past optometrist has never charged us in this way and made it feel like we could trust them with our care. It really makes us feel like a dollar sign instead of a valued customer. I wanted to share the feedback in hopes to look at these practices differently for future customers or at least look at each situation individually and be more flexible for the big picture. I have expressed my concerns with the office staff and the woman I spoke with was very defensive of why we have had the experience we have had. She also let me know they would be happy to forward our files to our new Optometrist. Again, I understand the need for overall policies, but I do believe in flexibility and customer service to retain clients in the big picture. Unfortunately, our family will not be returning to this practice. read more

I am severely disappointed in my interaction with this office. I was seen there a few years back, and had such a great experience, which is why I scheduled an appointment to be seen again. In scheduling my appointment I was very specific in notifying the scheduler that I was seen there several years ago, and my insurance had changed. I asked her if she needed my new insurance information, after I communicated the carrier and insurance type (HMO, PPO, etc), and she stated that she did not need it, but to bring it to my appointment. The Friday before my Monday afternoon appt. I received a call from All EyeCare Optometry requesting my insurance information, and when I said I have x insurance and y insurance type, however I am on my way out of the door, and could I call her back...the person on the other line stated that the insurance they had on file for me was no longer valid, and I was going to have to pay for the appointment in full in order to be seen regardless of whether I had insurance or not. She stated that they would provide me with an itemized bill, and I would deal directly with the insurance company to manage the reimbursement. I re-iterated the conversation I had with the scheduler. and expressed my concern, and confusion; again, I asked if I could just give her my insurance information so they could confirm coverage, and she said that she could not. The person on the other line seemed more than uninterested in maintaining me as a patient, and unwilling to work with me in the least. This is incredibly frustrating, disappointing, and has left me looking for another optometrist. read more

I saw Dr. Trinh in May for a standard eye exam, and he was great! He is very thorough and professional, but really cool and down to earth at the same time. Very nice guy. He told me I could use a minor prescription if I wanted it/felt like I needed it, but that really my vision was good and I didn't need to waste the money. The last eye doctor I went to was always trying to sell me glasses, so I appreciated Dr. Trinh's honesty. I did have a bit of an issue with my insurance, as there was a miscommunication on how much would be covered. I was surprised to receive a bill nearly two months after my visit, when I thought my insurance had covered the exam in full. I called and spoke with the receptionists about it and they really helped me out and worked with the insurance to make sure I was happy. Everything was resolved quickly and it's easy to see that they care a lot about the happiness of their patients. So I had a good experience not only with the exam, but also with the customer service. Overall I would definitely recommend All EyeCare Optometry :) read more

Dr. Trinh is a great doctor. He is professional, knowledgeable, and has a great bedside manner. His explanation with his nifty computer program was really cool and informative. His staff is also very helpful. What I liked most about the practice was the large frame selection that he had. Often times when you go to an optometrist you are limited by the frame selection. Thanks to Dr. Trinh for a thorough exam, in helpful information. I had been in once before when I developed a stye, and he gave me great advice, and that I could solve the problem without antibiotics. That was good news. My daughter and I both use All Eyecare now. She was unsuccessful in getting contacts previously and could not get them in. Dr. Trinh provided four solutions and we were able to walk through two out of the four on our first visit. I asked my daughter why she was successful in getting the contacts in this time and she told me that when Dr. B was instructing me, he didn't rush out and I could tell he was there with me as long as I needed him. He encouraged me and kept adjusting my approach until I figured it out. I'm telling you that there is no way that she would have gotten any contacts in without this team. I highly recommend this group. They are kind, professional and highly ethical. P.S. Dr. Tim is a fantastic optometrist and runs a great operation. His exam is the most thorough we've ever received and he goes out of his way to offer support. My husband and I were extremely pleased with his depth of knowledge about vision care and his knowledge about health and medicine, in general. Fantastic experience - Dr. Trinh and his staff completed a comprehensive eye exam for me, and determined my eyes had regressed slightly after my Lasik surgery. It's clear that Dr. Trinh is highly knowledgeable and a great communicator. I went to Dr. Trinh based on his inclusion in my Vision Care plan and based on the reviews he got on Yelp. This is NOT how I like to choose a doctor. I have had bad experiences with unskilled, uncaring optometrists in the past, who do not listen to the patient. The office hours are also very convenient. Well, I was impressed by the look of the office, the friendliness and competence of the staff, but most of all by Dr. Trinh. Dr. Trinh LISTENED to my needs and gave me a more thorough exam than I have gotten in the past from any optometrist or ophthalmologist. He was friendly, competent and caring. Lastly, I have always struggled with finding frames that I like. I told DeeAnn what I was looking for, she took me straight to one display and I immediately found the frames I wanted . I mean, no questions, no decisions. The perfect frame was right there. The very next day at work, I recommended Dr. Trinh to a colleague. I've been seeing Dr. Trinh for a few years now. He's the best optometrist I've ever had. He spends lots of time answering questions and makes sure patients understand their eye care. I've never felt rushed or that he's too busy. Several years ago Dr. Trinh was able to diagnose my vision correctly where other optometrists at a different practice had me wearing poorly fitting contact lenses that were not the right prescription. Now my eyes are comfortable and my vision properly corrected. Dr. Trinh stays up to date on research and new treatments and almost every time I see him he cites a new study or development in eye care technology. I like that he continues to learn and his patients can benefit from his diligence. He even developed his own camera system to take detailed pictures of the eyes, which helped diagnose a potential problem with my eyes. He's an ace. The office staff at All Eye Care are friendly, kind, and helpful. They remember me and my family and genuinely care about our treatment. I appreciate the staff and how helpful they are. read more
