Had the worse experience here. After the exam, the prescription was wrong, So bad that the glasses were not usable and gave me headaches. Went back a long time after to get another exam, and they had to admit that the last one was completely off. I gave them my glasses (as I paid a lot for the frames) to have the correct prescription put in. After charging my insurance a boatload of money, I still had to pay close to $200 for new simple reading lenses (even though they got it wrong in the first place). The kicker was waiting for over 2 months to get my glasses. They would not return my calls, or call me back with eta. There was nothing I could do since at this point they had my frames, and I had already paid for the lenses. I really like Dr. Kristine Stasko and staff at All Eyes on You Optometry! They are efficient and kind, always on time and helpful! I was sometimes scared from the warnings my ophthalmologist gave, so this optometrist is refreshing in that she never scares me - but I can still have the yearly glaucoma test AND get a photograph of my retina to watch for changes as I age. After a few years of going, I brought my daughter here and finally got her to get glasses. She's an adult, but they had pink sparkly ones for her, so she's happy! I have been going to Dr. Stasko for many years. She always takes lots of time with me and has been tuned into changes in my vision. I work in an artistic field, so when I started to have cataracts, Dr. Stasko let me know how they impacted my perception of color. At her advice I had cataract surgery. Color problem solved! She is an awesome, thorough & professional eye Dr. The other part of "All Eyes..." is the optometry department. I get good vision insurance from my employer, so every year, I get to pick out new glasses & sunglasses. This place has the best selection & brands at various price levels. I love the very affordable 141 Eyewear brand, which was introduced to me by an "All Eyes..." associate, Cynthia P. She was so helpful in picking the right frame that suited me. She also did a great job quoting all the features I wanted for my glasses. I got so many compliments on my new glasses & they are so light & comfortable. This one star is for the front desk and customer service (I wish I could give 0 star) I made the appointment one month ago for 9:20AM, I got a call a few days ago asked me whether I still want to get contact lens , I said no, the I was told the appointment would be changed to shorter, but I was never told explicitly the appointment starting time would also be changed. Then I got two text messages confirmation : one with 9:20 AM appointment, another one with 9:50 AM appointment, I replied YES for the 9:20 one while I thought two were same. While when I was there on the appointment day, the lady told me the appointment would be 9:50, actually I was fine to wait for another half hour. But I am not comfortable with their attitude, there was no sorry, just my own fault. Yes I may skip the time change in the text messages, but the lady didn't explicitly tell me such change in the phone call at first place, what I expected was just a simple sorry for that and also nice attitude, that's it. But then another gentleman told me either stay to see doctor or just go. I have been here for years to do eye exams, would never come back. read more

She helped me choose a new pair of glasses and after I brought it back because the fit wasn't for me, she graciously offered to pick another pair and made all the necessary changes. When the second pair didn't fit perfectly, she had me come on a Monday (the store was closed) and adjusted my glasses so they would fit me well. From the first answer of the phone, the staff could not have been more professional. At the appointment, I was greeted in a friendly and very professional manner and then, after a complete eye exam from Dr. Stasko, I met with her technicians to select frames and be fitted for glasses. I was fitted properly, informed about the type of lenses and never rushed. Then, when the glasses arrived, the same team assured they were correct from prescription to fit. My daughter started vision therapy at All Eyes On You a couple of years ago at age 11. She had been seeing an ophthalmologist at UCSF for years to treat strabismus in one eye, but outside of hoping that her eye would strengthen with age and glasses therapy, it was the end of the road of options. I had heard that in Europe, vision therapy is a common approach to strengthen the eyes and improve depth perception. I found All Eyes On You, and took her in for an appointment. After a thorough eye exam with Dr. Stasko, and some vision tests that I had never seen performed anywhere else, it was determined that she was a great candidate for vision therapy. She started doing eye exercises with Gee and Helen every week, and eye exercises at home as homework. It was beyond remarkable what this therapy did for my daughter. Week by week, her lazy eye started to "wake up". By the end of several months of therapy, her ability to see 3D was dramatically improved, and she could also hold her eye straight for a longer period of time. Incredible! Through out it all, the team was SO kind and supportive. Gee, her primary eye therapist, truly went beyond all expectations and garnered my daughter's full trust. She looked forward to going to eye therapy! When the time came that she wanted to try contacts, the whole team was incredibly patient and understood the anxiety that my daughter had with learning to touch her eyes and put the contacts in and out. It took several visits, but each visit was met with compassion and kindness. If you are contemplating whether it is "worth it" to do vision therapy, I would say a million times yes with this team. Here is my review, most specifically for Cynthia and for pony tail guy(sorry I never asked his name). I had my first experience with these folks two weeks ago, and I have to give their staff rave reviews. They make that place work. Pony Tail Guy was phenomenally fast, direct, and competent as he moved me efficiently through 4-5 tests in just a minute or two. This made my visit feel very productive and off to a great start. Then move onto the star of the day, Cynthia, who went above and beyond for me when helping me with my glasses. I won't give all the gory details, but lets say a lot was depending on some stuff with my glasses, and she helped me out and made the extra effort. I hope they get paid well for the work they do!!! Top it all off, the doctor was able to pick up on a slight issue with my eyes being slightly uneven, and adjusted my prescription to take this into account. All around top notch. I have FINALLY found the eye doctor that I love!! Dr Staskos and her staff are amazing! Their equipment is updated...no more puff of air in the eye technology...you have the option to have your eyes dilated but for an additional cost you can have a picture taken of your eyes instead which then she will sit with you and really explain whats going on with your eyes. Even if your eyes are healthy, with these pictures she'll explain to you WHY they are healthy. She even had a pair of trial contacts for me! I have astigmatism and every place that I've ever went to NEVER had a pair of trial contacts readily available for me. When it came to choosing some frames, it wasn't about having me choose the most expensive pair, it was about considering what kind of lenses where prescribed to me and how it was going to fit on my face comfortably. I also had my 2 yr old son with me and they have a little kiddie corner which he loved, along with a cute popcorn machine and hot beverages available. I may be moving a few cities over but that will not stop from going to Dr. Staskos. I foresee myself being a long time patient of hers. It's taken me 3 years to find an eye doctor/optometry place that I can truly say that I love...it was worth the wait. read more

Dr. Stasko has been patient with ensuring my daughter's prescription lenses are perfect which has taken 2 and sometimes 3 appointments initially. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Dr. Stasko's office today. I was looking for a great eye doctor and have definitely found one in her. The office is extremely professional, starting with CiCi at the front desk as well as the assistants helping Dr. Stasko. The office itself is setup great- coffee and water while you wait and a play area for children, all in a newly remodeled space with easy parking. This place took my money for contacts and never billed VSP so I was stuck with $600 worth of charges. At first they said VSP wouldn't take their billing but when I finally called VSP they said not true and that I had been bilked out of the money. So I switched. Very disappointing. Seem to be money grubbing and not very caring - plus disorganized. read more

I love this office and the staff! My daughter had an eye exam appointment with Dr. Phillips and I had my son and his friend who did not want to go to her appointment. They had a popcorn machine, hot chocolate, and a little play area. My son didn't want to leave when it was time to leave. They even had dog treats for my dog. Highly recommend Dr Stasko especially those with Lasik mono vision. After 15 yrs without corrective lenses eyes needed help to take strain off "distance" eye. She listened and then knew exactly how to test a few options and "balance" vision to both improve overall AND relieve stress to eye muscles. She is amazing. Dr Stasko is a good optometrist. The folks who work in her office can be disappointing. Appointments have mixed up. Orders have remained there with no call to let us know they are ready. We were told it was time for a check up when it was not. They are not dishonest. They are just not terribly competent or organized. The office is large, clean and new, professional, and there are tons of snacks - candy, tea, coffee, pastries, popcorn. All the receptionists are very friendly and warm.
