The class was a mix of treadmill intervals of fast and recovery, weight based exercises, and a bit of rowing. The staff show you all the exercises beforehand and if it's your first time, the equipment too, so the class goes smoothly. There are plenty of screens and people demonstrating the exercises, and you can easily track your exercise intensity based on a heart rate monitor band on your arm. I decided to sign both my husband and I up for the inexpensive trial offered in Sept for 4 weeks to see if it was something we both would like. The great thing is that they have so many locations throughout town as well as times to fit your schedule. We lucked out and found an early 545am camp offered right around the corner from us , 3 days a week. I will say that our Coach, Alex, was great about getting in contact prior to the beginning of camp and easing our concerns. Just some background, each "camp" consists of 4 weeks of intense workouts with the 5th week called "BOLD" week which is essentially a rest week with 1 class offered at your camp to squeeze a workout in (but you're always welcome to try out other camps/locations). The camp here is located outside in the Valencia College parking lot. Coach Alex provides various weights but most campers tend to bring their own. You'll need a mat, weights (low and hi), towel and water. Monday is usually an all over workout day which incorporates weights when working out your arms /legs as well as some running around the parking lot. Wednesdays are arm day and Fridays are leg day. Every workout day is different which I so appreciate since I get bored easily. Since we have a fair amount of campers at this location, we are usually split into teams where we have to work together in completing the exercises while competing against the other teams. As this is going on, Coach is walking around letting us know how our form is and if we are doing things wrong. Also, remember you work at your own pace. Most of the campers have been doing for years so I understand I'm slower than them but I've noticed I've built up the strength since attending for 2 months now. While I know CG isn't for everyone, I feel like I get a great all over body workout every time I go versus mindlessly using the machines at the gym and not knowing if I'm using correctly. The first week is rough but if you keep at it, you'll see that the results are worth the crazy, intense workouts!

AND her one on one in her PRIVATE gym is so good if you are really overweight and don't want everyone looking at you all the time as you barely do squat. Ugh. I promise she pushes you, but you won't be doing 100 burpees and running around the block your first day. Her strengths are that she really knows my limits (no getting up and down off the floor, etc.) and if she wants me to do push ups, it's against a wall not on the floor which is hard when you are my weight. Anyway, come check us out. We start at 6am (otherwise we will never get it done). She's one of the ONLY plus size workout places in Orlando. Get up! There are various amenities (I am not familiar with them all, as I only went to the event space that was used for the WIA event), and from what I could tell various points to rest/be seated if needed. The staff at the front reception desk is kind and helpful. From what I could tell, the wayfinding is decent. All in all, it was a really solid experience. I am looking forward to future wellness events that may be hosted here, as I truly enjoyed my visit here.
