However she wanted to charge us for 2 rooms because one of the rooms were on the larger end. I told her I don't think that is fair as we were quoted $195 for 4 rooms. If the size of the room mattered she should have asked the right questions or asked for pictures so she could give an accurate quote. It's not the homeowners responsibility to ask these questions. She used a low quote to get in the door and then tried to squeeze us for extra money. I told Krystal we did not want to use her services anymore and we will find another company.

Russell gave me a high level overview of his process of cleaning, deodorizing, and treating the carpet. Just with this, this overview, I began to feel pretty darn hopeful that he would do a great job. Russell arrived on time; actually I ran behind and had to call to ask Russell for more time to move the furniture. He gladly said that wouldn't be a problem; then offered to come on over and move the furniture away from the soiled areas! His process began with retreating the carpet and the heavily soiled areas. Dirt and heavy traffic spots weren't so much my trouble areas, but instead I have pet stains. He then treated those areas with gentle, natural and chemical products to break down the urine stains. Next, he thoroughly cleaned the carpet. He went over the area 2x and gave extra attention to the heavy areas. After the intense cleaning, he treated and deodorized. The carpet was dry by the end of the day. There was no in and out steam job here, All in all the job took about 2 hours; Russell didn't leave until he was certain the carpet looked as best it could. He took care in his work and it showed. 2 days later he gave me a follow up call and I was happy to say no stains resurfaced and the carpet smelled fresh and clean. From the initial phone call I made to the company, Caryn was quite impressive with her knowledge about the carpet cleaning industry. Her upbeat personality and passion about the business, helped me make my decision to utilize their services. ARRIVAL - The technicians arrived on time (actually, they called me beforehand and asked if they could come earlier than the scheduled timeframe (great for me, because usually this call from various other companies is the opposite --technicians stating they would be later than scheduled). REPRESENTATION - Now, here is where companies set themselves apart from others. People coming to your home to provide a service speaks volume about the company they represent. In this case, I was blessed to have technicians Floyd and Steven. Both of these men were exceptionally nice, talented and knowledgeable about carpet and rug cleaning. We did a complete walk-thru and they determine the best strategy to move forward to complete the job. SERVICE- At one point, I went to check on them and discovered Steven was down on his knees cleaning my baseboards! Wow!!! No other carpet cleaning company I've used in the past has ever cleaned my baseboards. When I asked Steven about it, he gently stated, 'this is just part of our service!' I was truly amazed at how both of these guys worked and the dedication they demonstrated. Later on, Floyd was on his knees cleaning some areas as well even though their equipment was top-notch, these guys didn't mind doing whatever it takes to ensure my areas were clean. The pet areas they cleaned were superb as well. PRICE - I guess the old expression is true, you get what you pay for! If you want a $99 carpet cleaning job, that is exactly what you will get and I can assure you, you will not be satisfied (been there, done that, got the T-shirt...lol)! The quote explained to me before the job began was fair. I was even more satisfied with the price after the job was completed because of the quality I received. My carpeted areas are new again! When it comes to chimney-cleaning services they're not certified inspectors and will not keep their word on services they promised. They were late, did not adhere to pandemic safety standards, were rude, charged higher fees at the last minute, and did a lousy job that left my house smokey after using it. INTERACTION * The person I spoke with said it'll be a "level 2 " service (pretty standard across the industry). They quoted me 280. * Technician was an hour and half late without giving me any updates. * Raphael came to my house, to which I asked him to wear booties over his shoes. He said he'll be in/out the house a lot so I compromised as long as it was limited to the chimney area. Later he wore his dirty shoes through my hallway and into the bathroom and demanded a bottled water to drink too. I could have denied, but I tried to show hospitality but he didn't reciprocate. * Because he blocked the driveway in, I had to call people to get a chimney grate, which I didn't know I needed. Many times he would take off his mask to talk to me or to his phone which he was late on catching up on paper work. If you're at my house, I expect you to provide 100 percent focus on the job. After looking at my supplies and telling me to get a grate, when it came, he evaded testing out the fire by saying I also needed a fire starter log. * Cleaning took about 15 minutes -- seemed pretty quick for what he kept saying was a "really bad" chimney. I asked the state of the chimney because it bothered me that it was such a quick job. He told me he's not a certified inspector, and he's not doing the video inspection. * After asking about the quoted 280 over on the phone, he decides to charge an extra 100 cause my chimney was "really bad." ... if you're able to get the job done in 15 minutes all while letting the machine do its job while you walk away to fill out paperwork, I don't understand how that could be so strenuous on labor. * After he was gone, I called up the company to report his behavior to a manager, to which I spoke with Alex. He offered no compensation or discounts for all their shortcomings. He only said "I'll talk to him." I've never been so angry at a company or technician for so many reasons. I was desperate to get my chimney working. Because other companies busy up for a month, I decided to give these folks a try, and I regret this so much. They're the only company to make me feel angry at myself for giving them the benefit of the doubt.
