Guy looking to get his 5# CO2 tank for his kegerator recharged and many signs on various sites pointed here for Hartford area. Everyone appeared to steer me in the right direction. Although I wouldn't rave about the general area All-Gas is in, the place itself is fine. Arrived during the lunch hour on a Thursday and no issues finding. Have to say that everyone there is super-friendly. Gentlemen outside pointed me exactly where to go and the guy waiting for me at the counter was friendly, helpful as could be. Many places these days apparently will do a tank swap instead of actually filling the tank and giving it back to you. My tank is brand spanking new and aluminum, so was not looking to have swapped with an older, steel tank. Happy to report that All-Gas fills up what you have. Without calling out specific companies or pricing, I will just say that pricing here is very competitive. Have a friend who is currently getting ripped off by another place and have already texted him to come here when he needs another refill. Simple, quick, friendly, cheap. My kind of place. read more

I "had" an All Gas rental above ground propane tank on the side of my house. I was having Solar installed and needed to have the tank moved approx. 10 Ft. I called All Gas to see what could be done about this. After many calls to All Gas, I received a call from "Dave". I explained my situation and he stated they were busy, it's winter and he is only delivery driver? After numerous calls to All Gas, 1 month later Dave answers his cel and stated he was out with covid for 30 days. If you've ever called All Gas all there message says repeatedly is being recorded. I guess they missed my numerous meesages. Dave told me to make sure I had a clear path to my tank. Not only did I clear a path, I sent Dave a couple pictures and a video to prove. Once more I got crickets from Dave. I called All Gas again (the receptionist is outstanding) this time to escalate my 2 month long attempted to get the tank moved. She transferred me to Dave's manager (I forget his name). Same issue, no call backs and I have other companies unable to complete work on my home. I finally left the owner a voicemail and things picked up a bit. I have now gone from having to tank relocated to come remove the tank and all ties with All Gas. 1 day I come home to find Dave and a co worker removing the tank. The manager called approx. 3 mins prior to me arriving home and left me a message they we're coming. A courtesy call the day prior would've have nice shown some form of customer service. I introduced myself the driver and helper. Dave didn't want to identify himself but he did. Let's take a step back. The last time I spoke with the manager he told me he was going to call scheduling and call me back. Long phone I guess. They finally showed 2 weeks later. My tank was approx 60-70% full. I no have a bill from All Gas stating I owe them from the pick up, tank return to? When my tank was emptied I was charged from also. As for the far market value on the propane still in the, I was reimbursed for what I paid for fuel 2-3 yrs ago and not far market value. All Gas turned around all sold it at todays market. So, with all that being said. I will never do business with all gas or anyone associated with them. I will never refer them and definitely add my opinion to anyone mentioning the word propane. So, here is the time line. 1st call to All Gas 1/09/26. Actual tank removal date 3/13/26. Those dates are concrete. The moment was I was told it had to be moved the Chat with other companies began. I will pay all sup the $40.00 they claim i owe them, believing after all the poor service you should've have removed the tank in good faith and called it. Thieves.. called for a quote, (3xs) arrived, no repairs, no parts. They broke a key and quoted a replacement log & burner at 1,300 .. said " this is a great deal ".. it's on amazon $200 - 300 and i got an i voice for $300.. close this place down! read more

All Gas charged me 200 to remove my tank. They were charging me more then 800 dollars then to company I went to. I returned over 200 gallons that was in the tank and they gave me 74 dollars back. They also charged for taking the gas out of the tank. Total thieves. If you notice they are advertising free gas with new hook ups. Stay the freak away from this company. Otherwise you will be sorry. read more

If you're looking for a company that does a good job of supplying propane - then This is NOT and I repeat not the company you want to use. All gas will gouge you at every chance they get. The hit me for the highest price on gas at every opportunity. The cost for any maintenance- I found out what more than twice the regular price but because I was leasing my tank from them - I had no choice but to use them . Horrible company - stay away . Had the last straw with AllGas today. Their billing system is byzantine. Their customer service people are rude. They are utterly indifferent and unresponsive to emergency needs. Not recommended, stay away -- far, far away. read more

terrible service in any way you can imagine. overprice for propane and add endless fees for everything. old equipment and even the delivery guys have to work with old and mostly not working equipment. took them 5 hours for a propane delivery on side 9just a refill). no service or respond at all. read more

I have received the worst customer service I have EVER experienced from this business. I became a customer in the fall of 2015 after I purchased my weekend home in southern CT. Like I did with all of my utilities, I contacted the business to inquire about billing, tank rentals, etc. I was told i would receive a bill in the mail. I informed the business that I would only be using the home a few days throughout the winter and was told to contact them upon my first bill to set up automatic payments. Since then not only has my gas been shut off twice (after numerous calls to pay my bill over the phone) but with an EXTREMELY high gas bill for about 6 days of usage (the house is completely shut off the rest of the days) I called to inquire about a possible gas leak. To be clear, my bill for approximately two months was $1700. I asked every question you could - - is this a problem from the original owner, might there be a gas leak, can you come and check on safety and usage concerns - - but have not received any help in those areas. I provided my card on numerous occassions (bc what other choice do I have) but in the meantime expected the business to look into my SAFETY and usage concerns. Once again, in April 2016 without having addressed any of these concerns, the company SHUT OFF the gas again stating I didn't pay my bill. Again, I have called numerous times tryin to pay this bill in full and inquire about the SAFETY concerns but I received nothing by rude responses ("You should be happy we filled your tank or you wouldn't have any!). That was a response to my call that my 80 year old mother was in the house with no heating overnight. This last time was my final straw. After they shut of the gas again which I didn't discover until arriving on a cold Friday evening, I called the emergency service without a response. I eventually used the firm's Facebook page and got a call from owner Jon Pollack saying he would send someone over to turn the gas back on the next day. (again with my 80 year old mother visiting along with 4 young children we had no heat overnight). The following Monday Jon sent me an email saying - in essence - this whole issue has been my fault and this was impossible for his company to be at fault. I called him immediately to express both my disappointment in his rude response and to a) pay my bill AGAIN via credit card or wire and b) to inquire about a possible gas leak which to me seems more likely than ever considering the continued high gas usage with so little days in the house. Jon Pollack - who says he is an owner - HUNG UP ON ME. Not only that, due to my SAFETY CONCERNS I was determined to speak with someone and called back more than twenty times and Jon and his colleagues literally picked up the phone each time and hung up. To say that I am both shocked and concerned is an understatement. I have contacted my lawyer and also filed a complaint with the CT Energy commission (http://www.ct.gov/pura/cwp/view.asp?a=3352&q=404030). I am currently trying to pay my bill, have someone (other than AllGas) monitor the safety of my propane tank, and ensure these issues don't happen again.
