We have used All Hours in our home, and in a rental we have. The techs, like Brian W, are great. BUT, the company itself, a strong no-go! When we called for service on the phone recently, we had to talk to an AI 'bot. Then we kept receiving text messages, even after we requested that the texting stop. Then, after the service, the tech did what many have to do today: Turn into a warm-up act for the baubles salesmen, AKA " a comfort advisor." Oh, and of course All Hours wants us to become a subscription "member." When I asked the tech to have the baubles salesman email me about selling us baubles, I was told that the salesman has to come talk with me face-to-face. How ironic, THE CUSTOMER has to deal with an AI 'BOT when service is needed, but the salesman pitch, er the comfort advisor, has to be face to face. I think the company would just be better to abandon the heating and air business all together. They might try selling high risk investments from Wall Street. They are all set: Recurring revenues; up-selling the customer; add some smoke and mirrors, plus fear uncertainty and doubt, all while using AI. They are all set! read more

I was visiting Tahoe and needed to replace the ceiling fan in bathroom at our rental unit there. I contacted All Hours Air, they gave me an estimate that was in range with other ceiling fan replacements I've done in the past. All Hours Air sent a capable technician who measured the fan, went to Home Depot to get a replacement and replaced it all in the same day. Great Experience! My air conditioner stopped in the middle of the day in 90 degree heat. Called that afternoon and they set an appointment the next morning. Their tech Louis was quick to diagnose the problem as a failed capacitor. He didn't have the specific part I needed on his truck so he went down to the part store immediately and brought it back for a fast install. He was extremely personable and professional. UPDATE: In October 2025, we had a heat pump installed to take advantage of the tax credit that will expire at the end of this year. On the first day, Brian and Dave arrived just a few minutes after the 8 - 10 window and got right to work. They were personable and answered our questions during the project. At the end of the day, they made sure we had working heat for the night and cleaned the work area before leaving. The next day ended up taking longer than expected but they stuck with it and had everything working properly by the end of the day, again thoroughly cleaning their work area before leaving. Extra kudos for helping my husband get his 1944 Army Jeep back into the garage when the battery failed, and for playing good music while working (classic rock played with respectfully low volume - we couldn't hear it unless we went into the garage where they were working). read more

Called for service, unknowingly conversed with an AI Bot, who did not quote the special TV offer price. When asked if I want to speak either a manager I replied yes. Did receive a call back pretty quick, and proceeded to book service and being asked if I wanted to book the winter service at the same time, replied No, until I evaluate this service call. Service call was good with Dan, explained what was happening (which was not asurprise to me). Said he would get some estimates for A/C replacement. Did not receive, followed up with an email, I think it was to a Bot, got other prices for items associated with an existing A/C, but no replacement units as discussed with Dan. They appear to rely on the Bot with NO oversight and appear to be clueless and content with it, to bad, the tech was good and personable. read more

I bought All Hours Air Comfort Club Membership which includes heating and Cooling inspections and tune up. It suppose to also provide priority service, but twice in a row, they have cancelled the scheduled appointment just hours before they were suppose to come. The next appointment is a month away; that will be over two months from the intial appointment. This is not priority service. I do not recommend you wasting your hard earned money for such a poor service. read more

We needed a professional opinion as we had an odd smell in the kitchen. Wanted to make sure it wasn't gas or refrigerant leaking. They came out in a timely manner. The tech assured me we did not have a gas leak. He checked all the connected devices, and sewer openings in the house. They also offered a courtesy call to return if the problem persisted. In the past 12 months, I have spent over $20,000 with All Hours Air. I also am a member in the All Hours Comfort Club Maintenance Plan. You might think that if I had an urgent plumbing need that I might be able to have get a plumber to help me in a timely manner. If so, you'd be wrong. My loyalty and my business got me a big zero. Last Thursday, July 31st, I called All Hours Air to book an appointment for a plumber to fix an immediate issue with my kitchen sink faucet. I was advised that the first available date/time I could expect a service call was 8 days later on August 8th. I told the person that I was speaking to that I was a Comfort Club Member and I have spent over $20,000 in the past year and asked if I could get help any sooner. The answer was no. August 8th was the best they could do. So, I called another company to see if I could get any help sooner. Their answer was YES. My call to the other company was at approximately 2:15 pm on Thursday, July 31st. I was told I could expect a service tech between 4:00pm and 6:00pm on the SAME day. This was from a company that didn't know me from Adam. My plumbing problem was fixed the same day. I'd like everyone reading my review to know that being a regular and loyal customer at All Hours Air doesn't mean anything to them. Your business won't be appreciated. read more

I had a terrible experience with All Hours Air. We called them out for help because one of our furnaces would only run for about 3 1/2 minutes or so and then it would shut itself off, After diagnosing the issue, they told us the furnace was too old (20-25 years) to fix and suggested we replace it instead of attempting any kind of repairs. I was shocked they didn't even try to fix it, especially since I found it was a easy repair. We decided to hold off on their advice and think things through The report they left us mentioned a bad high limit switch, so I decided to do some research on YouTube to find out how to test high limit switches. After testing all five high limit switches on the unit, I found they were all fine and it only took me about 15 minutes to do. Then, I watched some more videos and discovered the pressure switch could be the issue. Ended up jumping the pressure switch wires using a paper clip and I got the furnace to run and stay on until the unit got up to temperature. Once this was found I went to Appliance Parts Company/PAC's and bought a $37 pressure switch, returned and installed it and now the furnace is working perfectly. I'm extremely disappointed that All Hours Heating Air didn't even attempt to fix the problem, opting to recommend an expensive replacement instead. Everything I read on the Internet, said the only time you should need to replace your furnace would be if you have a cracked heat exchanger. Kind of feels like the technician didn't know how to troubleshoot properly and just wanted to push for a new furnace so he could get a higher commission on the job.. We will never call them again, nor would we ever recommend them to anyone. It's the same story with Sierra Air, which is why we won't be using them either. It's frustrating to deal with companies that don't seem interested in actually fixing issues. My furnace decided to act up just after midnight on a sub-freezing Monday morning. I called All Hours Air (which advertises "24-hour emergency service") at 12:15 am and got a recorded message that they were online with another customer and would return my call. After a half-hour wait I called another company, which had a technician on site within an hour - friendly, competant and professional - who diagnosed the problem promptly and described my options and costs. By noon that same Monday (after supplirers opened) everything was back to normal. "All Hours" Air condescended to return my original call at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon to "set up an appointment". We received a Flyer in the mail from said company for a 49 dollar water heater tune-up as we recently purchased our current house that turned into a Fixer Upper. I made a mistake and told them that I had a Home Warranty as most home warranties do not pay any claims unless there is a complete failure of the warranted product. With that in mind, my service request became a very low priority and my first two appointments were cancelled due to "My repairman was sick" and I received another call, this morning, using the same lame excuse. The company was very dilligent in sending me reminders of our appointment, but failed to live up to their end of the bargain and honor those appointments! I, not being a shy guy, called the company and reminded them about my background and they were cancelling my Scheduled Service because a more lucrative job popped up. The nice lady that handeled my call made several attempts to put me in contact with the manager as I was Fed Up over this poor treatment and I was told that the manager was out on another Job. A few moments later, Nick the manager got wind of my shoddy treatment and promised to come out today at 2. He was a man of his word and understood the Poor Service is eventually a fatal blow to any Service Business. He was apologetic as to my experience and completed the service in less than 20 minutes. This 5 Star rating is for what Nick said and did, as he refused to charge me for the 49 dollar advertised Special. My advice to you is not to tell Any home repair company that you have a Home Warranty or You too will become a very low priority client subject to cancellations, like I have endured. Paid $249 for their winter/spring special - service furnace and then air conditioner with a water heater flush and plumbing inspection. Got the furnace serviced this past winter, all good, come out for AC and there is a problem with the capacitor. Technician says it costs $361 to fix. He takes about 10 minutes and he's done. Did not flush the water heater or do the plumbing inspection we paid for. Found out the next day the part only costs $45. Call and talk to Kyle, can't or won't reduce the charge, have to wait for Craig. Craig won't do anything either. It's a racket, Technicians get paid by commission, they more the cost the more they make. Very unsatisfied with their lack of customer service. Will never use them again or recommend them with their no care attitude. read more

RIP OFF HVAC Service, do not use them, they try to upsell you and price gouge hoping you will pay a premium for their service. They also won't send you an invoice with a parts and labor breakdown which is pretty standard in the industry, which points to them trying to pad their fees. They also will try to take advantage of you if you are female, as they assume if you are a woman you are not mechanically inclined and try to take advantage of that. Hello all. I am by no way an HVAC technician, however I have been a machinist, welder, and mechanic most of my life, so I have a little bit of all experience. Our furnace stopped producing heat, and I decided I didn't need to deal with it so my wife gave All Hours a call, and they sent a tech out to give an "estimate". My wife was the only one home with our new baby, and I was at work, so I told her to to just get the bid. Our furnace is older anyways so I decided to see what it would cost to replace our new unit. The technician that came out quoted us $1,200 to replace the draft inducer in the burner, saying that the furnace was 11 years old and it was not recommended anyways to repair it and agreed with me to replace it. He also said it was nearly impossible to find parts for this furnace cause it was an "off brand". Caveat; I have never worked on furnaces so I believed him and asked him to quote replacing our furnace for a 96% 60,000 BTU furnace which was the correct calculation for the house. The technician started arguing with me saying that they we needed to get the furnace through them as they had all the parts. OK fair enough, waited to get their estimate. On the LOW END, they wanted to charge $6,000 to replace our furnace with a new one, and $24,000 to a full furnace swap and install a heat pump. On further research, a Goodman 96% efficient 60K BTU propane furnace is $1,200 with free shipping to our door. Even when I inquired about paying for the labor I was told it would still be over $6,000 and they kept dodging my questions about how many hours it would take and what their hourly labor rate was. Every contractor I have worked with across multiple industries ALWAYS gives me their labor rate and a job estimate for billable hours. This is when I started to expect they were not being truthful and trying to pad their pockets with extra money. My dad drove up the same day to help me look at our furnace, and noticed the draft inducer was unplugged when we popped the access panel and plugged it back in, the motor got hot instantly. Four bolts and a screw later we had the draft inducer out and noticed the bearings had failed and seized up. Ten minutes on Google and $113 with free shipping later, my new draft inducer arrived, I installed it in ten minutes, and the burners kicked on again, and my furnace is working fine. Looking into the average HVAC rate, a contractor should charge between $150-$250 per hour, and replacing an entire furnace with the gas already run is at maximum a 4 hour job with a tech who knows what they are doing. I can't believe this *company* was trying to charge me $1,200 for ten minutes worth of work to replace a glorified 120 V motor. What happened to honesty in the business? People, do your own research and do not get ripped off by unscrupulous contractors such as these. They are hoping you are not smart enough to ask the right questions such as (how long the job takes/billable hours/parts). There seems to me a lot of these outfits in Reno so please do your own research to not get ripped off by shoddy companies. Just read the other reviews on here..... the average cost for a brand new hvac with centra install from a reputable contractor is around $3,500-$4,000 including parts. -Andy Edit: see the below response from the owner personally attacking me telling me I "don't know what it takes to run a business". I called All Hours to evaluate a clogged kitchen sink drain--which had been previously snaked by a different company--seven months ago. I was scheduled for a technician between 12-4pm. The technician, Jerome, arrived much earlier and that was a great surprise. He went to work immediately and given our history, he suggested a video inspection of the drain line as well as another snake. He first snaked the line to get beyond a clog and to allow the video cable to extend the length of the mail line. The video showed a huge buildup of crud along the walls of the main and after seeing that, Jerome suggested a hydro jet to clean that stuff out. Jerome made several passes with the hydro jet and the camera, and we could see the progress in real time. Problem solved! Given that we do not ever put grease or food scraps down the disposer, it was weird that there was such a buildup. Nonetheless, it's clear now and Jerome suggested that we add BioOne to the drains on a regular basis to keep crud from building up. I'm very pleased with Jerome's professional knowledge and his work. I'd like to start with the tech, Chance, was great! Last week, I received same day service to unclog a kitchen drain. I didn't receive my receipt until I requested it today. I reviewed it and compared it to an invoice from when I had the same drain unclogged a year ago by a different plumber. Same day service, same process, and about the same amount of time spent on clearing it. I was shocked to realize the difference in prices. All Hours Air charged $89 for dispatch, and $544 for clearing the drain with a snake. The other plumbing company charged $198, total. I understand inflation etc. but $633 vs $198????? I needed a company that could service a prefabricated house. Now that I am in charge of my parents home, I also needed a company that could help me know what I need to do. My mom found a brochure from last year, and it was All Hours Air. So I called and scheduled an appointment for furnace check up. Nick arrived and was very pleasant. He was informative and gracious. My mom and I are the ladies of the house and he made us feel confident that everything will be taken care of. We signed up for the Comfort Club. All the benefits were explained. It is nice to know that we will be warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and plumbing will be taken care of too, at any time of day. read more

I will not allow any representative of this company into my home again. During a recent installation, the workers: Took cigarette/vape/rest breaks every thirty to forty minutes, abandoning cigarette butts, food wrappers, cups, and trash around my property. During COVID they coughed and sneezed in my house without covering their mouths and spit on my front lawn (no masks, of course). They used tools from my garage without asking, and didn't replace them where they found them. Two small items on my contract and final invoice did not seem to be installed, but if they were I wasn't told where or if any maintenance was required. All these actions were disturbing but my main concern is their talk of parties, drinking, drug use, and how they plan to "get some pu**y tonight". I won't describe the exact installation or dates in detail because it wouldn't be hard to determine what installation this is and my address. I am concerned for the safety of my wife, family and property. I must assume the work they did was according to contract, but I won't know for certain until winter arrives and we turn on the furnace. The 'thank you gift' they sent in the mail I threw away without opening, it's likely promotional material. Posting one star because zero is not an option. I would not recommend this company to anyone for any reason, even during an emergency. read more

We got an appointment super quick. They worked with us to find a heater that was in our budget and cheaper than all other quotes we got. Scheduling was very easy, and they had someone out to my house in a short amount of time. The man's name is John and he was very polite, professional, & explained exactly what was wrong. He checked it out thoroughly, a lot more than what the previous company had done, & was able to quote me that day. After he left I had my quote emailed to me within 30 minutes or so. They are a bit more pricy than other places I have spoken with, but they offer a lot more so I do believe that if you are willing to spend the extra money initially, it will be worth it. read more

I called All Hours Air to service a hot water heater. They came out late in the day, spent 5 minutes looking at it and then told me I needed a new one. At this time we had been without hot water for two days. They said they'd install it right then but because it was late in the day, would charge a premium for emergency service. They quoted us $3600! Luckily, my instinct was NOT to trust them and I sent them away. The next day, I called a reputable plumber who replaced a few parts, cleaned it out, and got it working for a couple hundred bucks. We used All Hours Air to have our AC installed a few years back. The whole experience wasn't great. Overall the price appeared reasonable, but the installation didn't go as we discussed. I met with the employee for the initial visit and to discuss where the unit would be installed. I was not present on the day the unit was installed, and it was placed in a completely different location than we discussed. By the time it was installed I couldn't do anything about it, but it is in a really inconvenient location and I honestly think it was laziness on their part. As a result of the installation experience, we have been having another AC company in town provide maintenance for our unit (and we have been very happy with them). Fast forward 4 years from installation, and our AC went out. Our maintenance company found the issue and stated it was due to inappropriate installation. When we called All Hours to find out about warranty information, they said that since we don't have our maintenance through them that the warranty is null and void. Our hot water heater went out. They came out, gave a bid and we discussed and decided how our new tankless hot water heater would drain condensation. The plan was that the condensation would drain into our sewer line. We gave the ok. They came a few days later to install. It was a different team. The new team of installers decided they weren't going to do that and actually drilled a hole through the wall of our garage and home siding to our front porch. Said there wouldn't be much condensation anyway. We asked multiple times and even told them that we didn't want that. They did it anyway. There was a puddle on our porch after 1 shower. They also left trash all over our garage. We had to call and fight to get the original team to come back. The original team fixed the condensation drain issue and cleaned up the garbage. Also called the installation team to ask what happened. I then overheard the installation team yelling over the phone that we were just whining and did nothing but complain through the install (they were at our home for over 8 hours. We checked on them, especially when we heard drilling through our house siding). The installation team walked away so we wouldn't hear the rest of what was being said about us. We ended up having to patch the siding and the wall in the garage. No discount or price reduction for all the trouble. Very disappointing. Should have gone with a different company. read more

I run a sales agency so I can appreciate when someone thoughtfully makes suggestions for preventative measures including ideas for part upgrades to avoid major issues, and also educates. Today marks 88 days since my AC unit was installed and this company still has not resolved my problem and has not met their contractual obligation to deliver a working product. They again no call no showed today for an appointment I made last week to have this issue addressed. I specifically asked the owner jason to call me regarding this issue 26 days ago on here and have never once heard from him in the 3 months that I have had this system that I paid almost $6,000 for and has not worked properly since day one. He has only had his office manager and general manager reach out to me and could not even take the time to personally call me. I have been more than understanding with this company allowing them 3 months to resolve this issue and putting up with no call no shows, not returning my calls for weeks and then randomly showing up at my house. I had a hot water tank leaking. An appointment was scheduled for 12 to 2 p.m. The plumber didn't show up. I called the office at 2pm, asking if they were coming. She they were still on another job. No courtesy call to say they were running late. Now I can even forgive that but I care for my 93 year old father who has early dementia. What thorough service, but the price $$$$ for the fix we needed. everything was explained accordingly and the needed parts had to be purchased at a local hardware store. The specialist picked up the parts needed. we had to dig to the pipe that needed a diagnostic since the specialist had back problems. The fix only took no more than 5 minutes. We were also given a history lesson, as well as consultation on other options to avoid this issue in the future. The specialist explained the issue and gave us estimates on alternative solutions. There's also a warranted time frame where if any issues occur the specialist will return to fix no charge! We were just disappointed with the billing as it was thrice the cost of what we had anticipated. It sucks being shy to fix your own pipe, but it was a better solution to call service instead of skating on a bandaid and holding off for help. read more
