I left two voicemails, called 3 times over the course of 3 business days. It has been over a week now and I never heard back from them. All in 1 completed a few jobs at our home recently, the largest and most complicated of which was converting the old TV cabinet so that a standard modern TV would fit in the space. They removed the doors and a wall, stained the wood to match, and you can't tell it was ever any other way! They also installed a faucet in the kitchen and did some caulking where it had cracked. I just moved into a new home and needed a couple of TV's mounted on the wall, and a King sized bed frame put together. They gave a really reasonable quote and were able to come the following day. They came 4 hours or so after their original time estimate; however they stayed in constant contact with me letting me know their status. Once they got here they got to work immediately and handled my furniture with care. The bed frame was new right out of the box and was missing 2 essential parts. I had a piece of wood come off my house during a storm (some kind of vent cover or something) & I had an exposed hole on the side of my house and just a few hours before the next storm was supposed to hit. I've finally found my handyman team! After working with several different companies, I couldn't be more pleased with the services of Jaco's team. They were prompt and professional and so efficient with getting all my tasks done (e.g., installing over 10 door handles, new bathroom and hall lights, front door lantern, engineering an ornamental door covering I wanted, etc ...) that we accomplished so much more than I had planned. Jaco was also great with advising me about other projects and took the initiative to correct a problem I had with some damaged quartzite that was a great solution. Their hourly rate for two people was extremely reasonable--especially compared to companies charging $200/hour for one person, that I have personally used. It's difficult to rate the quality of someone's service when they don't respond to your communications. I don't think it's fair to rate the service good or poor if in actuality no service was rendered. However, responsiveness is a big part of service quality so I rated them a two simply because they never responded to my questions regarding the number of technicians that would be needed for my projects.
