He's a complainer so for him to not once but 3 times say how much he enjoyed the massage I have to assume she was really really good. My therapist was very good as well. I had mentioned early on that I wanted focus on my right neck & shoulder with medium pressure and that exactly what I got! Unfortunately I can not remember names but was told the therapist's names are in their system. will definitely be returning & I highly recommend them. I booked a surprise massage session for my mom and aunt (prior to a wedding). The front desk took down their names and phone numbers when I scheduled the appointment and assured me that they will not call or text to confirm the appointment (because it was supposed to be a surprise). The day of the massage, they called my aunt to confirm the appointment and my aunt not knowing what this was for, she cancelled the appointment. I arrived to the spa with both ladies during the appointment time (because again, they had no idea what was going on and the front desk assured me that they will contact me for any issues or confirmations), when I arrived - they told us the appointment was cancelled "a few minutes ago" and they did not have any other massage therapists available. After seeing some of these poor reviews, I had to chime in. I've gone to Max and James, and they were both AMAZING. Definitely the best massages I've ever had. They were both very professional and used draping techniques, as expected. Facility was clean and relaxing. Before the massage begins, you are presented with a sheet allowing you to circle the places you would like the masseuse to focus, and put a X on the places you do not want to be touched. The lobby is so calming and relaxing and the massage was alright. I feel this place is way overpriced couple massage $119 per person and if you want anything added you have to pay $15 to $20 extra. They will try to sell you up a million times. I personally want to pay for what I want and not be pressured to upgrade. Just let me walk in and relax not be pressured in the lobby and pressured in the massage room. The massage was average at best. I feel there are much more reasonable massages in the area ranging from $75 to $100. Trust the higher in price for 90 minutes. I only got here a $60 minute it was $119 if I would've done 90 minutes it would've been almost $150 per person. Not worth it. Another downside is you have to put your deposit down to hold the reservation. But they don't apply it when you check out. You basically pay that again and wait a day or two receive the refund for the deposit. So weird. I wouldn't recommend here because to pricey and pushy. Not so much relaxing when you walk in. Should have listened to all the other reviews claiming scam. Beware of paying an online deposit and get everything in writing. I purchased a gift for Mother's Day for my mother, a $220 service. I paid a $50 deposit online, booked the appointment for my mother, and she received wonderful service from Nikki and gave her a cash tip via the envelope provided in the massage room. Victoria called me at the end of the day saying my mother did not "check out." I reminded her that I was taking care of the remainder of her service and that Nikki received a cash tip, and confirmed remainder I owed was $173. After hanging up, she charged my card $212.60. I tried to call back, no answer. So I disputed the extra $39.60 with my bank. On July 4th, I receive multiple calls and email with threat of legal action. First, she tells me they reimbursed the full amount, which isn't true, and that I have until the 7th to pay $212.60 in cash or else legal action will be taken. I got back $39.60. Then, she tells me the $39.60 was the tip I left for Nikki and signed for it...I WASN'T THERE to sign, she even called me to tell me my mother did not sign! She disregarded our conversation on the phone, lied about the amount she was charging me and is now claiming there was no way of knowing if a cash tip was given. Sad to lose this place, because I was a loyal customer and I truly enjoyed the service but the front desk, Victoria especially, is extremely unprofessional. I originally found this massage service on Groupon and thought I would try it out. I called to inquire about available appointments for a couples before purchasing the Groupon since it was kind of last minute. I ended up booking it though then directly which was fine. Upon arrival we were given the typical massage paperwork to complete. I noted the areas of my body that I didn't want touched such as my face, head and any private areas. My masseuse totally disregarded my request and decided he wanted to do his version of the massage and not the custom massage I thought we were told we would get. He massaged areas I clearly indicated I didn't want touched and messed my hair up so bad with his hands, fingers and oil that I had to return home to fix my hair before meeting with a client. I just had microblading done and he rubbed along my eyebrows causing premature flaking of the healing of them. Total disregard for my comfort and preferences. I reported the incident to the person who checked us out which happened to be the owner (found this out later) and she blew it off as if what I was saying was irrelevant. Told me my hair looked fine...when it actually didn't. Hair was all over the place and frizzy from him scratching through my hair. Destroyed my hairstyle. This negative experience overshadowed my ability to enjoy the massage. Probably will never return. read more

Therefore, I purchased another Groupon and I went in there to make an appointment and the front desk lady stated that the Groupon appointments were a month out and NOT ONLY would they NOT HONOR my GROUPON purchased BUTTTT if I purchased a massage right then and there she would give me an appointment right away. WHAT????? R you serious ..... Not the BEST customer SERVICE EVERRRRRR!!!! Furthermore I have ONLY purchased ONE GROUPON in the past with this being my 2nd purchase. I've been a customer over +2 years and always enjoyed the services. I have referred employees and friends in which they all loved it as well. My last service was on 3/15/22 in which I took my daughter for her birthday to get her first message and facial (spent around $500) because I was a member. As of today, that day will be the last time I will get any services from them due to the manager!!!! On 3/20/22 I was charged $120 so I called because I did not know what it was. A staff member stated it was a renewal of my membership. I advised her that I was not aware of any charges that will be coming out without me knowing. I did decide to cancel the membership not due to their services but due to personal circumstances. They advised me that I will get my refund within 5 business days. I called back on 3/26 as my refund did not come through so I figured that I would call and check on the status. I spoke to another staff member stated that it could take up to 7 business days and she will relate the message to the manager as she was in a meeting. I waited and decided to call again on 3/30/22 and asked for the manager this time around as I did not receive anything yet. I told her the whole situation and she said that she was told that I asked for an appeal from the bank. I was a bit confused to where she got that from because I never said that or felt that I needed to involve my bank. She said, "well that's good that you did not request the appeal I will check will the merchant to check on the status and get back to you because I will be able to refund you". I asked her how long that would take, and she said to give her 24-72 hours and she will call me to let me know. I did not receive a call after those days has pass so I decided to call again (4/4/22). I thought the best thing to do was speak to the manager directly as she knew the situation and was working on it. I was told she was in a meeting and the message will get related to her. She never called me back to give me an updated status. Of course, I called again today (4/5/22) because I have felt at this point the process was getting prolonged. I waited for 10 minutes because they thought she was in a meeting until I was transferred to her. She asked my name and phone number and the reason for my phone. I gave her the information needed and at first appeared that she had no idea why I was calling. She was then able to pull it up and stated that she called the merchant and was waiting to see if I set an appeal. I advised her that I did not. She said if I didn't that, she could refund me, but she wanted to wait for the call as well. Which I do think it is fair to make all sure all ends matched. I asked her "when do you think you will hear back?" and she said, "probably tomorrow". I asked her if she could call me either way to let me know. She said if things go through that she will just refund me and send me an email. I asked her if she could call me as well and she questioned me to why that was necessary. I told her that I will like an call; I did not tell her my reason but it is my prefer way of confirming and communicating as I do not get service on my phone in most places that I go to. She said that she will NOT call me that I will just see the email. I advised her that if I do not get a call that I will just walk in and ask to speak to her directly. Of course she did not like my response as it will not be a good look for the clients waiting. I am a bit disappointed because I feel she does not want to communicate with me regarding my money on something they did wrong by not communicating in the first place about the fee. This situation does not sit well with me because I do not believe a refund should tell this long and the client/customer shouldn't have to contact them over and over again about the same problem. All of my services are paid of course right after a decent tip is given as well as a great review. When it comes to any refund it takes forever to receive and there's no calls to keep you updated on the status. To all the client/customers out there: Be aware of your credit card charges as they will not call you when they take the payment out. Look into your receipt when you leave after your services to make sure your $25 deposit was refunded or apply to your services at that time (that was another problem I had with them, but it was the first time I had an issue that occur, so I did not mention it) Lastly, continue to call them regarding any refunds as they will not call you thinking that you will forget about it and it becomes a gain to them but a loss for you. This is so sad because my wife and I really enjoy our services from Emma and Katrina but if their foundation is like this I cannot continue with the services. The manager has always been aggressive with sales and making business as it is her job to do but how it my situation was handled has been a real turn off. Went in for a two hour massage with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Very expensive date night. I had very high expectations. Was super disappointed. They gave us a complimentary drink and a little treat to celebrate and hubby got a free upgrade. (Stones, $15) Everyone was very nice. Definitely 5 stars on that BUT as far as the massage goes, it was 2-3 stars. First, it's overpriced and they charge for every little thing. More expensive for nonmembers.. $15-30 extra for stones. $15 member/30 nonmember to put peppermint on the scalp when they rub it. (I was under the impression it would extend you time. So I got that) Big mistake. They hound you the minute you walk in the door to get all the upgrades which cost $15-30 per upgrade. Even after telling them no thanks, they continue. The even asked while we were in the room trying to start undressing. So much so we just agreed so they would stop taking up our massage time. Which btw you have to sign saying that you agree the time of your massage starts when you walk into the back. So dressing time, the time they spend talking to you and the extra minutes they take to come back in the room. I don't think that's fair at all. You are paying for the massage to last the whole length of time you select. When you pay $455, you should get exactly that amount of service in return. It was warm in the room. I was sweating the whole time. The pressure sucked, even after asking her to go deeper. Same for hubby. He said his areas he marked for focusing weren't even focused on. I was relaxed for a good amount but the beds were small. The head thingy was in a weird position so my neck was hurting and my face. Most of it was "rubbing lotion on you without pressure" type of massage. Like a crappy pedicure. The massage ended 8 mins early. I know it's not much but in total it was about 20 mins from our massage with the beginning and ending. They had a clock in the room but the timing is off. Not sure if that's on purpose but ... It's a beautiful facility. Smells nice. Just not worth it. We will stick with our usual place that was just busy tonight, which is why we came here. I recommend Harbour Blue Thai massage.
