On April 8, 2016 I contacted All My Sons Moving and Storage to get a quote for my upcoming move on May 6, 2016. Jason Coleman from All My Sons Moving and Storage contacted me during the afternoon on April 8, 2016 and gave me the following quote after our discussion about the contents of the move: 4 men $169 per hour/3 hour minimum. I agreed and provide my credit card number for the" deposit "totaling $169.00 and was told this deposit would deduct from the final bill. I contact Jason Coleman again on April 30, 2016 to confirm my move. Jason promptly responded to let me know that someone would be contacting me a day or two prior to the move. I was contacted on May 4, 2016 and was told the moving team would arrive on May 6, 2016 between 8-12pm. On May 6, 2016 the team and team leader Chris arrived and started at 9:30am after Chris walking me through some paperwork. Both my husband and I walked the whole team through the house and showed everything that would be moved. This included all rooms, closets, backyard etc. At that point I asked that they: - Not use saran wrapping as I had my own - Tape as I had my own - Wardrobes I agreed to pay for. After requesting this three times there were no wardrobes on the truck. My expectations was that all furniture would wrapped in moving blankets, however the team kept using for the most part the saran wrap and tape. From the starting point of the move to "completion" was about 3 hours. We did a quick walkthrough the house and we left for our new home. We had asked the movers to leave behind lamps as we would transport them and we also needed to come back to the house to clean. This team was a nice enough group of men, however constant follow up was needed as they would need to be told again and again you need to take this box, you need to do this etc..... We arrived at our new home, and had to wait while Chris was on the phone with his corporate office to get the final pricing. I chose not to use a credit card, which I now regret even though there was a 3% "surcharge" to use a credit card. I looked down as Chris was totaling up the final cost; at this point I questioned two items: - Final time for the completion 6.75 hours which meant almost 4pm - $140 for supplies I wanted an itemized bill and received nothing. The moving team completed the move in a very sloppy manner- and I called about this to. Boxes clearly marked for the 2nd floor dumped in the garage because they were too lazy to take the boxes up the stairs. I glanced at my phone about 15 minutes after they left and the time was 2:45. The move took 5 hours and not 6.75 hours. The moving team left without refunding $ 295.75. I was charged and paid $1196.56. I immediately called the corporate office and spoke with Wendell, I explained the issue and he stated "Yes the driver called in the change of time from 6.75 hours to 5:50 which is incorrect, and he then states "so what's the problem"? I proceeded to tell him that the moving team did not return my money, nor did they leave me an itemized bill. I was told the owner John would call me, and he did and said none of the moving team was answering their phones. John again called and said that Chris would come back and return the money. I said fine we were going back to the pick-up address and to meet me there. My husband and I go back to the home we moved from, and noticed 9 boxes were not taken as we explicitly asked. These were large and heavy boxes. I again call the corporate office and spoke with Lacey, and told her the move was not completed. Lacey told me John was not available and she would contact the moving team and call me back. About a half hour later Chris calls me, the moving team leader. He did apologize, and I gave him the benefit of the doubt as he admitted he did not refund my money and claimed it was just an oversight. Chris than proceeded to tell me he was in Lenox, and could be back to my home in a half hour to return the money and finish the move. However, Lacey said I would need to be charged for the "additional move" are you kidding me? If not they would mail me a refund check. Chris then became somewhat hostile and wanted to know what I told the owner John, again I told him I gave him the benefit of the doubt. So my husband and I were put in the position of having to scramble to get a van and move all the boxes and items we just paid $ 1196.56 for. This is absolutely outrageous. On May 9, 2016, I again call the corporate office to confirm that I will be sent a refund check, again I get Wendell who seemed confused as Chris the lead mover, told him and the owner that he came back to my home paid me the money I was owed and completed the move. This is an outright lie. I again got the co-owner is not in the office, and 5 minutes later she was in a meeting and will call me. I waited to almost 5pm, no call. I call back and I get Lacey who transfers me to Wendell who has the audacity to tell me to be "patient". read more

Before I get into why I 1-starred these guys, let me start by saying the actual guys in the moving crew that were sent to me were fantastic. They were quick, careful, and could not have been more professional throughout the job. I wish I had gotten their names so I could mention them specifically. It's the management I had an issue with. They were completely incompetent in how they handled my move. My move was in December 2016, and I scheduled in early/mid November. I was moving a 900 sqft apartment on the first floor to a 2 bedroom 2nd floor apartment 40 minutes away. They scheduled an early afternoon, 2-man move and quoted me $400. Sounded good to me, I probably could have loaded a UHaul myself with some help from a friend or two, but after a rather disastrous move a year and a half before that I handled that way, I was more than happy to pay a professional service to take the hassle out of things for me. As expected, a few days before the actual move, they called to confirm and give me my time slot. I was #2 on the list for my particular moving crew, so my time slot was assigned for about 10 AM to 12 PM. Cool, noon or early afternoon finish, just as I wanted. The weirdness started the night before the move, when they called me at 10 PM to confirm yet again, as apparently the last guy I spoke to was new, and somehow lost my paperwork. Ok, things happen, but my timeframe was bumped up to 12PM to 2PM. A little confusing/concerning I guess since that wasn't what I originally agreed to, but I figured that would still put me getting done before/by dinner time, which was still fine in my book. The day of the move, I was told I'd receive a call from the moving crew an hour before they arrived. 12PM arrives, then 2PM, still no call. So I ring up the office, and get told that the weather (it'd been lightly raining/misting all day) and a difficult customer were holding things up, and that they should be there by 4PM. Ok, fair enough, the roads were a little ridiculous because we all know how even a single drop of water makes Atlanta highway drivers lose their minds, and I've showed up to help move friends only to find they are barely packed, so I'm feeling a little sympathetic. Just to cover my bases, I ask if there's an alternate crew that can show up, I'm told no. Well, 4PM rolls around, no phone call, so I buzz the office again. I'm now told 6 or 7, and that's only if they're able to send a different crew, a larger 3-man team, which will cost me extra. Figuring the larger team would take much less time to finish the job, even at the higher hourly rate the price would be roughly the same, so I accepted this, though I wondered why I was told no to nearly the same suggestion a few hours earlier. 7PM passes by, still no call, even though they were apparently leaving Roswell headed my way at 5PM. I call again, get the same manager, who, upon apparently realizing it's me again, puts me on hold. After ten minutes of this, I hang up, call again. They didn't pick up. So I borrowed my dad's phone, and sure enough they picked up immediately. Now they're telling me they won't be able to get anyone to me until Monday (this was a Saturday night), which is unacceptable because there was no way I could take off from work, plus that was the last day on my old lease. After much yelling back and forth on the parts of both the manager and myself, it was agreed they would charge me for no more than 2 hours regardless of how long it took and they would send me a crew immediately. Finally, at 8:30PM, a truck arrives. As I said at the beginning, the actual mover crew guys were great. They had the truck packed and locked up within about 45 minutes, and after a ~45 minute drive to my new place, had the truck unpacked within an hour. So, to recap here, All My Sons lost my confirmation, could not stick to their own timeline and showed up over 8 hours late, kept pushing my timeslot back, and were willing to leave me hanging by trying to bump my move out another two days which would have required me to miss work unpaid. I get that the weather and uncooperative customers can cause delays here and there, but this was beyond the realm of acceptable. Again, this was very light rain we were dealing with, not massive thunderstorms, and if the earlier customer was really *that bad*, an alternate crew should've been sent way before things got to the point they did. After all, I was only the SECOND customer scheduled for that crew that day. All My Sons' mismanagement of the situation took a job that should've been done by 3 or 4 in the afternoon and turned it into one that ended at just before midnight. For the sake of the guys in the moving crews, I hope this isn't a regular occurrence for them. The whole point of hiring this company was to save myself some time and hassle, and in the end it was no easier or convenient than doing it myself. Next time I have to move, I will most definitely not go through All My Sons again. read more

AVOID !!!!!!!!!!!!!! All My Sons has demonstrated no ethics or moral high standards. In fact, we found dealing with your company to be extremely stressful and mentally exhausting. To the point of downright forceful mental cruelty and just pure evil. Our complaints against All My Sons company are far beyond simply overcharging or damage to belongings and structure. Our complaints fall within contract breach and a wide pattern of similar deception demonstrated by All My Sons. As well as fraudulent overcharging and forceful mental cruelty. Our complaints fall within different scopes and will be pursued in varies sectors. Complaints we plan to file include and not limited to American Moving and Storage Association (AMSA), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and U.S. Department of Transportation. Our purpose is to have complaints we experienced stored in FMCSA's consumer complaint database about All My Sons. This company shouldn't be allowed to operate in this manner. Additionally, we plan to write local County and City Officials about our experiences. We don't think that All My Sons should be allowed to operate any moving business ever. In addition to completing forms for the different complaints, we will file well-documented letters to be sent with each form. Complaints are being filed for the following: Contract Breach All My Sons did a switch and bait. The contract specifically stated 3 men. However, on the day of the scheduled move, All My Sons cleverly only sent 2 men. This unethical practice is a contract breach. At all times All My Sons knew that 2 men couldn't complete a 3 men job within a reasonable time. Such abusive practice was a breach in contract. Withholding Invoice Breakdown All My Sons refuse to produce an invoice breakdown for exactly how many men were provided for the move. An attempt to conceal a breach of contract that only 2 men were provided. When the contract was initiated for 3 men. Complaints to AMSA Household Goods Dispute Settlement Program; Over Charged We were overcharged and the contract was not honored. An agreement contract was executed for 3 men and 2 men only showed up. This resulted in our family being overcharged, the 2 men rate resulted in having to pay more than if 3 men completed the job. Which would have been done in more time and within the quote we were given if the contract wasn't breached. Withholding Invoice All My Sons refuse to provide an invoice breakdown of services. Specifically identifying the number of men provided for labor and costs. Overcharged For Supplies All My Sons charged $50 for moving supplies. There were no moving supplies provided by All My Sons. Damage Our bedroom furniture dresser and headboard was damaged. Walls were damaged in the move out location, resulting in more damage costs to our family for damages. Routed To Call Center During phone conversations, we were routed to call centers that put us on hold for over 40 to 50 minutes or more. Charged 4% Fee On Debit Transaction We were told we would be charged 4% if we used a credit card, so we used a debit card. Was told that would be fine. If we were going to be charged the transaction fee of 4% we would have paid cash. We strongly feel All My Sons didn't render services as stated in the contract and breached the contract. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage on Sunday, October 26, 2025 was so unbelievably bad that I feel obligated to warn others. The customer service when booking was great -- polite, professional, and reassuring. Unfortunately, that's where the professionalism ended. Once moving day arrived, things went downhill fast. The movers were friendly and on time, but that's the only positive thing I can say. They moved at a snail's pace, constantly stopping to converse with each other, change shirts, check their phones, and sip drinks by the truck. I only had six pieces of furniture to move in one room -- a bare bed frame, two dressers (empty), a TV stand (empty), and two other small items that were so small they could fit easily fit in a small vehicle. Yet they somehow managed to turn this into an all-day ordeal! The results were devastating. The movers showed up completely unprepared, even having to borrow tools from me to disassemble furniture. Even worse, three out of six pieces were damaged during the move, and the movers managed to damage my house as well -- including drywall, crown molding, and the staircase. They even got my headboard stuck on the stairs for over half an hour, and it took me and a friend to help the movers get it unstuck. The movers also arrived 40 minutes late to the drop-off location because they had to stop and get gas and of course, All My Sons still tried to charge me for that wasted time! The next morning, I had to hire a different moving company to move my headboard and mattress and they moved the same headboard in under ten minutes with zero damage to the headboard or my home. Because All My Sons deliberately moved at a snail's pace to drive up the hourly rate, I had to cancel the stop we were scheduled to make and had another moving service move it for me! To make matters worse, All My Sons' Management response was appalling. No apology. No accountability. No compensation for my damaged furniture, wasted time or damaged home! They actually tried to charge me for the 30 min break the movers took to stop for gas, and for the 30 mins time they spent struggling with the headboard they themselves got stuck. When I tried to resolve things, the representative, Cassandra, was dismissive, unhelpful, and downright rude! I had to threaten severe escalation just to get any kind of resolution -- and to this day, I still haven't been provided a receipt for my cash payment! Now, I'm left with costly home repairs and damaged furniture -- all because of their carelessness and lack of preparation. The movers themselves were very young, inexperienced, and clearly untrained! This is NOT a team that knows what they're doing! For six pieces of bare furniture, the company tried to charge me for six hours of labor at $159/hour -- over $1,000 -- for a job that should have taken under three hours, tops. This company is dishonest, careless, and unprofessional from top to bottom. Do yourself a huge favor -- do not hire All My Sons. You'll regret it, your furniture will regret it, and your home will regret it. read more

If I could give a negative (-*****) to All My Sons Moving & Storage, I would. This is one of the worst moving travesties anyone could ever experience. This company does not deserve to be in business for one more day. They are lying, conniving, deceiving, manipulating, bluffing, enslaving, scamming, and masquerading. I am a 61 year old woman who contact All My Sons Moving & Storage in Roswell GA to move my 2 bedroom apartment. We agreed on a moving date with a two-men crew that would last no more than 2 hours. I scheduled the moving one and a half month in advance and paid up front. During those six weeks, I periodically called to confirm the moving. They told me they would come after 10:00 am. At 11:00 am, no show no call, I called they told me they are coming. At 12:30 pm no show, no call, I called again and they told me they are coming. At 1:30 pm no show, no call, I called again and they told me not to worry they are coming. Their game went on and on and on until 6:00 pm I realized I had being scammed. I called and changed my tone and they became very defensive, very disrespectful, and told me that they did not have a contract with and I did not tell them that I need to catch a flight early the next morning. One of the many so-called managers at the company told me to change my flight and if they do not have time to move my stuffs and store them before the storage facility closed, I can use their own storage for $100 a day. This is a scam they are using on people they think have a tight deadline. He also suggested that I changed my flight for the next afternoon and asked me if I had told them that I had an early flight the next morning--something irrelevant to the move. Meanwhile I established contact with a smaller moving company in Atlanta who was willing to come and move me. I had already paid All My Sons for the move, so I was stuck with those incompetent and lousy company. They showed up at my door at 8:00 pm while the storage facility I rent closed at 10:00 pm. When the movers showed up they were obviously tire and worn out by two previous move. The company never informed them of the last minute move. The guys were clearly tired and wanted to go home. They had been working since 5:00 am. They told me that it is a 6 hour job and I told them I don't care, All My Sons have my money and the apartment needs to be empty tonight. Manager asked to speak to me, I told him I had been speaking with them for 12 hours and they were all worthless. To cut a long story: DO NOT CALL All My Sons Moving for your moving. This company is violating every single of customer service. If you are in Atlanta and need a mover, please call somebody else, but run as fast as you can from All My Son Moving :-( :-( read more

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and outrage regarding the disgraceful service I experienced with this company this past weekend. I've dealt with moving companies before and am aware of their notorious reputation for price gouging, but All My Sons stands out as the most extreme and egregious in this regard. This company's behavior is not only unethical-it is blatantly illegal. To make matters worse, although they started charging me at 9:45 AM, they didn't begin loading the truck until 10:05 AM. Despite the initial estimate suggesting this move should take no more than four hours at a cost of no more than $600. The two movers had 80% of my items loaded on their truck before noon. They left my old apartment soon after and showed up at my new place at 4:50 pm (citing traffic and issues with the elevator at my old place). They finished unloading my items at 8 PM, which is an utterly absurd amount of time for a move of this scope (a 2-bedroom apartment). It took an outrageous 12 hours, and I was ultimately gouged with a bill over $1,400. This team was disorganized, inefficient, inexperienced, and dragged out the process to inflate the cost. To add insult to injury, several of my belongings were damaged, and some are completely missing, with no accountability from the company. I even witnessed one of the movers sitting on his cell phone while on the clock, showing zero urgency or professionalism. Throughout the move, I voiced my frustration about the unnecessary delays and escalating costs. Rather than addressing my concerns, Kory, the "manager," threatened to leave my belongings on the side of the road if I continued to express outrage over the situation. This behavior is not only unprofessional, but it's also deeply threatening and unacceptable. No customer should ever be subjected to such intimidation for simply questioning excessive charges and poor service. I was blindsided by these excessive charges and given no valid explanation for the inflated bill. I still have not received my final receipt; this is nothing short of fraudulent behavior. All My Sons Moving & Storage operates with no integrity, exploiting customers through outrageous pricing and careless handling of their belongings. * A formal investigation into this company's illegal pricing practices and deceptive conduct is needed. * I will be sharing my experience publicly to warn others about the fraudulent and predatory practices this company employs. I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent experience I had with All My Sons Moving company. It saddens me to say that the lack of integrity displayed by All My Sons Moving team has left a lasting impression. My initial interaction with your company began positively; the overall experience quickly deteriorated. The inconsistency in pricing quotes has been highly disconcerting. Initially, I was quoted a specific price, which was later altered just two days before the scheduled service. Unfortunately, the fluctuations did not stop there, as the price changed again on the day of the service itself. In a customer-centric industry, the cornerstone of successful relationships is founded on transparent and ethical practices. I firmly believe that maintaining consistency and honoring the initial agreements is crucial in building trust and earning referrals. Regrettably, my encounter with All My Sons Moving company has left me with a sense of disillusionment, and I must candidly admit that I have no intention of availing All My Sons Moving derives again!! Upon reviewing my itemized bill, I discovered a significant discrepancy. As per the documentation on my paper pad, the charge for 6 items was listed as $6 each, with the total amount calculated to be $150. However, upon closer inspection and a careful reevaluation of the charges, it was apparent that the accurate total should have been $36. In light of this evident error, I promptly contacted All My Sons Moving customer service department to rectify the situation and request a refund for the overcharged amount. To my astonishment, I was met with resistance and a refusal to acknowledge the mistake. This response has only exacerbated my frustration and deepened my concerns regarding the integrity of All My Sons Moving company's practices. read more

Look Elsewhere... The actual cost of my move was 34% or $1,180 greater than the estimate which is absolute deception. Apparently, it's common practice at AMS to underestimate and then slam clientele with wildly inflated final costs. I participated in a video evaluation prior to quote so there really should've been a far more accurate quote provided. I purposefully didn't choose the cheapest option because I didn't want to deal with BS but my experience could easily be compared to Southwest airlines vs. Delta. The crew of 6 movers took nearly 3 hours longer than the quote which leads me to believe that either the estimator had no clue what he was doing, or the crew was milking it (or both). How about charging an extra 30 minutes that wasn't worked? Or $268.50 for tape and shrink wrap?? IMO wrap and tape are used by the mover to diminish damage claims prophylactically and should be baked into the quoted cost not used as a vehicle to inflate cost on the back end. See SW airlines charging for peanuts. I emailed with my estimator several times who "escalated" the matter to "leadership" who never responded. I reached out to the operations manager, no reply. I finally spoke with someone who promised a return call w/in24 hours, no call. I finally emailed their customer care address and received a call back from some snot nosed punk with an attitude. I hope that the $1,180 was worth the loss of business this review should absolutely inspire. If there was a zero-star option, I would've chosen it. What an expensive disappointment. read more

Other than the kindliness and punctuality of the employees, our experience using All My Son's for a move from Savannah to Atlanta was terrible. Our furniture was delivered nicked, scratched, damaged, crushed and one piece completely destroyed in transit. We had taken out extra insurance but when it came to calling on their insurance to repair the furniture someone at either the insurance company or All My Sons marked the insurance "void" which is a complete falsehood and our lawyer will now take up this issue. When preparing the furniture for the move, the movers were overzealous and excessive in their description of any existing scratches. For instance one piece which had no damage when picked up and still had none when delivered had been marked by the movers with "numerous" scratches as noted on the contract. I suppose this was for self protection. On the other hand, an antique dresser in perfect working condition was delivered crushed and unusable. After the insurance review of our claim, they decided to say that the damage they caused in transit was part of the original description. We were offered $42.00 for about $1500.00 worth of damage. As I said, our lawyer will now deal with this. A company that can deliver items intact as well as timeliness and with personal kindness by their employees would be the best. This company is, in my opinion, the worst because of the damage they caused and the denial of our claim. read more

If I could give All My Sons Moving Company zero stars, I absolutely would. My recent experience with them was an outright nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn anyone considering their services to stay far, far away. The two-man crew that arrived to move my belongings treated my furniture with complete and utter disrespect. I watched, horrified, as they dragged, rolled, and even stepped on my furniture with their dirty shoes--leaving scratches, gouges, filthy handprints, and actual shoe marks on practically everything they touched. My furniture was left looking like it had been through a war zone, and to top it all off, they actually managed to break one piece clean in half. But it didn't stop there. After all the mishandling, they handed me a list of unexpected charges for things like using basic padding and shrink wrap--items I've never been charged for by any reputable moving company in the past. It felt like they were pulling fees out of thin air, adding insult to injury after the absolute disregard they showed for my belongings. This was my first and definitely my last time ever using All My Sons. I wouldn't trust them to move a single box after this experience, let alone valuable furniture. Their service is careless, greedy, and unprofessional from start to finish. If you value your belongings, do yourself a favor and hire literally anyone else. read more

If Yelp would allow me to give them 0 stars I would. DO NOT use this company to move. Their movers were lazy and we, the customer, moved faster than they did. The movers arrived 40 mins late to do the move, took almost 3 hours (lunch) to get to our new home, lied and said they got lost. We gave them physical directions, and drove the same route, and it took us 45 mins to get there. The movers got sweat all over our cushions, and did not put my bed back together. When I asked who would put it back together they said, "Oh, you want it put back together?" They did not have tools and attempted to blame it on their company for not providing them with tools. In addition, the management attempted to slip in extra fees for labor and using a credit card before I paid. When I confronted the manager about it he changed it, but why attempt to manipulate a customer in the first place. This company is not professional, and will make moving a nightmare. Do yourself a favor, use movers that come highly recommended by a trusted friend or family member, and do not use All My Sons Moving and Storage. read more

One Star is to many for this company by far the WORST! ever I have never been so disgusted with anything like I have with all my sons. first off I was quoted 4 man crew I get 3 plus they were 3 hours late I was told I would get a prorated discount then the crew was some of the roughest looking guys I have ever seen talking in foul language talking bad about the company just a overall bad employee professionalism. then once I get unloaded I had so many items damaged I had to yell at the guy in the truck to stop throwing my belongings out of the truck it was horrible. so I was put in contact with the manager Wendell Williams what a prick! total disrespect I was charged double I had to contact my bank to get it resolved plus the claims department has been none verbal with me I am on a wild goose chase with these people I have emails stating I would be credited by Wendell Williams nothing I have been trying to contact them for 2 weeks I get nothing its a different person each time all I have to say is do not use these crappy company they make me sick when I see their trucks..... read more
