I'm absolutely livid about my experience with them. First, when I called for my estimate they quoted me $189 per hour, and said it would be about four hours plus an hour of travel. They pressured me into making a down payment to lock in the rate, and I did, because the estimate seemed reasonable. Well, the move ended up taking all day. From 9 till 5. And the workers seemed to be doing everything to draw out the process. One guy was on his phone with friends multiple times. We overheard another telling the new guy "if a job goes past 3:30, they won't make us do a second." And they were so inefficient! The truck had a ramp and an elevator lift, and they used the lift for every single box. They were taking their sweet time. When we got to my new house the foreman handed me an iPad with the charges, and--before I said anything--told me that if I had any issues with it I should call corporate. And then he sat down and got on his phone. Listen: I get that there are travel charges. But we traveled, one truck, from North Salt Lake to Millcreek--maybe 20 miles. So why was the travel charge more than $500 and an ADDITIONAL fuel charge more than $350? And that's to say nothing of the "packing materials" which we never asked for or were quoted about--another $240. And of course now labor was nine hours, not four. And they wouldn't unload the truck until I paid. They were holding my furniture hostage. Well I paid. But I have been told twice over the phone that they are going to investigate, and it's been ten days of nothing. Do not use this company. Especially not the Utah branch. read more

Do not use! Absolutely the worst experience ever. Originally quoted $189 an hour. After speaking with 3 reps going over what I had in total including heavy weight equipment they stated I would need 3 movers. When my check in happened they said I was miss quoted and it would be $211 PH with a 20% discount. they showed up an hour late. Didn't actually start for another 30 min. They were not well presented. Very unkept, not clean. One had grease on their hands ended up all over the walls, banisters, doors and furniture. After telling them to wash their hands and remove their gloves that are dirty in went down hill fast. Super rough with out stuff. 3 bedroom townhouse ( fully packed btw) took them 6 hours! The truck was to small & we're not able to load it all. 2 hours to unload ( because we had family to help) I've had to use my truck and families vehicles to get the rest of my stuff. $3200 is what the total was and I'm not even moved! DO NOT USE. I scheduled them for a Saturday move almost a month in advance. That Saturday at 3:30p they called to tell me they couldn't make it that day. Then Sunday, they didn't schedule me with priority like they told me they would. Showed up at 3:30p in Sunday, instead of the morning, but only sent a crew of 3 instead of the 5 from my video estimate. We had to help them remove the moving blankets to finish by their required end time. They could not finish in time and have to send another crew of 3 on Monday.. They were not done until 3:45p Monday. I had to pay a late fee leaving my previous rental house, had to take off an extra day and a half of work. I had to board my dog two extra nights. I called and talked to several people, everyone had to talk to their manager and call me back but never did. I emailed their support email and tried to schedule a call several times with someone and no one called. For all my trouble I received a few hundred dollars off only from their INITIAL delay from Saturday to Sunday. read more

I had mixed results with them, but ultimately things worked out. I was quoted four hours plus an hour of travel, but the move ended taking double that--and because I was paying them by the hour I was pretty frustrated. There was also some confusion over "travel fees" vs "fuel fees", but that appeared to be an error on their end. After talking with them on the phone on the day of the move, and then working with them in the week after the move, we were able to agree on a price that was fair, and I feel like it was appropriate. The movers were extremely friendly and polite, and we never had any problems with damage. They treated all our possessions with care. The two men arrived on time and were really kind, but took their sweet time doing absolutely anything. Me and another friend (both women) did more work in the entire house than they did in my little garage. They were so slow at loading and unloading, and didn't pack the truck very well. They had a 10x26 truck and said they could not fit anything else in it, but after loading another truck (with extra boxes left in my garage) we got to the storage unit. I was able to fit everything in my 10x20 unit with a ton of extra space. I even told them where to place items and it never happened. They were kind people, but just don't use this company. read more

They where late because a previous customer prior to my appointment made them late by having more to move than they where previous told about when scheduling. But when they arrived they worked very hard and quickly, and were professional and polite. They were able to complete the job in less time and refunded the difference to me. We had confirmed a move months ago. We were moving small things (in town) all day and never heard. We called them at 3pm. Guess what. After taking time off work they bailed on us. I'm going to give the pros and the cons. Keep in mind I was moving from a one bedroom apt to a 2 bedroom in the same apartment complex. PROS: 1. Scheduling wasn't too hard, they offered 50.00 credit for booking and only required a 100.00 deposit. Payment due day of the move. 2. Friendly Movers 3. Showed up on time. CONS: 1. Showed up with 3 movers instead of 2. The third acted like he was in training and only lifted moved lighter stuff. 2. My 300-400 move turned into a 700.00 move. 3. They left many things behind because I wasn't willing to pay anything above the 700.00 I was not expecting the 3rd mover but had no choice to decline him. I was put on the spot. I was prepared to tip 2 movers cash and felt pretty bad I didn't have tip for the 3rd. 4. Super pushy for a review. Not sure these are the best option for moving. I shopped around for movers because I needed large furniture moved. I got a quote for $149 an hour plus 18% for gas. I agreed to this and received an email confirming this amount. I was told due to scheduling out so far that is why it would be that price. I paid a $100 deposit. On moving day they came and I signed the liability waivers and they started moving my belongings I had everything except my couch and chair wrapped up in plastic wrap ready to go. They began moving the stuff one memeber if my family stated at the old apt. I went to the new one. When they got to the new apt. and presented the bill I was shocked it was over $1100 for 3.5 hrs. $149 x 3 = $450 + $75 for 30 min. = $525 + 18% ($94.50) = $620 then add tax of $55 (per ut tax rate) = $675 I paid a total of $800 and they expect me to pay the remaining. I needed to get my things moved so I paid that so they didn't hold my things. When I mentioned the price and showed the email with that information the Training Supervisor he said "oh that was corporate that told you that they are always giving wrong quotes" well that is not my fault now is it. The company should be expected to honor what I was told. I was not told that it was more for 3 people than 2 people. The movers were amazing took great care with my belongings especially curio cabinet that I mentioned was the last thing my grandfather bauggt my grandmother over 30 years ago. When they got to the new place they parked in front of the wrong building I could see a truck down the way but did not know it was them they were sitting there before calling me for at least 15-20 minutes. I called the corporate office and they tried to blame me saying they sent more people I told him what I was told the price would be. He said they used packing material also when I told him I did t ask for that as I wrapped everything prior he said "well we don't move things without packing it. I was asked about packing material when I got the quite and clearly said that I didn't need any I had my own and was told ok they will just use the blankets and those are no cost. The guy finally said "ok we will just call it even and I will take a loss on this move. I agreed just to be done but let me be clear I am not satisfied I should not have paid for 4.5 hours. Again let me be very clear the movers themselves were great they all apologized to me and said this happens all the time with them giving wrong quotes. Customer service takes several hours to reach. This company is not transparent with their pricing, expect to pay an extra $750 + in fees when they show up for your move, even if you use your own truck. When questioned about the 18% fuel charge (even though they used my truck) they said it was half sales tax, this is off because Utah doesn't tax moving services so it feels like I was lied to. The crew was uninformed with what the job was when they showed up, dropped my piano, and were not careful with moving boxes down stairs. Well have to wait and see what the damage is to the piano because they hurried to get it in the truck and out of sight before anything could be inspected. They did load the truck quickly, however you need to be on top of managing them because they left a lot of open space in the truck. Their attitude was poor, with them expressing that they would not be able to fit everything in the truck, in the end there was several feet to spare. The crew spent their time talking about their "gooner accounts", whatever that is. Definitely did not reduce stress on a stressful day. After reaching out to all my sons, being left on hold for 40 minutes, they were dismissive and rude. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Horrible experience from beginning to end. If you read any review, READ THIS ONE. We scheduled our move for Sunday and were told we'd be the first move of the day, so the crew would arrive early. The night before, we were told the truck broke down and our move was moved to 1 PM. Inconvenient, but we tried to be understanding. Then 1 PM passed with no update. We called again and were told it would be closer to 3 PM because they were finishing another move. We were promised to be first--why were we pushed back? We waited again. At 4:30 PM, the person we spoke with was rude and hung up on us. When we finally got someone else, they told us our move was canceled and would happen Monday instead. So we wasted our entire Sunday sitting around, unable to unpack or do anything productive. Essentials had already been moved to the new place, so we had to drive back to retrieve basics just to get through the night. Now we also had to take Monday off work. When the movers showed up Monday, they were extremely slow and careless. They moved at a snail's pace, vaped inside our homes, and goofed around the whole time. It seemed like they sent the slowest team possible knowing we'd be upset and might request a discount after the Sunday debacle. But it got worse. We were originally quoted $600-$800 total for the move--from a small basement apartment to a single-family home. Because of the issues on Sunday, we were promised 18% off, free junk removal, and $100 off as an apology. When the movers finished loading the truck Monday, they refused to unload until we paid--and gave us a bill for $1,700 AFTER "discounts." ???? We talked to somebody called Collin on the phone and they said, "We can't control what our employees quote you," and offered no help. We also never received the junk removal we were promised. Without the "discounts," the total would've been $2,500. That's not an estimate--that's a bait-and-switch. We paid a $100 deposit that to our knowledge was never applied. We've asked and received no clear answer. Damage was also extensive. A metal shelving unit was broken and leaned against freshly painted walls, leaving scratches. One mover spent over 30 minutes trying to "fix" it while the rest of our items sat on the truck. They also cracked the back of a dresser and put a huge gash in the top of our solid wood dresser. We had paid for their highest-tier insurance because we have expensive furniture, but now we're stuck in a claims process that seems designed to go nowhere. We don't expect to be fairly compensated. Additionally, we were told to leave all the cushions on our couch so they could wrap it all together. Instead, they threw the cushions on the filthy truck floor. In the chaos, we forgot. Days later, I laid on the couch, fell asleep, and woke up with burning, swollen eyes. The same thing happened to my husband the next day. We realized the cushions must've picked up allergens or contaminants, and now we're paying out of pocket to have them professionally cleaned. Totally avoidable and completely careless. This entire experience was beyond frustrating. Every person we spoke to was either dismissive or outright rude. From broken promises to delays, surprise charges, and serious damage to our property, this company has shown a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. I have never met better moving personal. And when I had a question on the bill, their supervisor was very willing to explain it to me, and to make a small discount in our favor. I wish that I had looked at reviews before agreeing to anything. I found out that my experience was not the only one. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if this review disappeared because they are really good at loopholes and covering their tracks. I am a single mom. I had had the worst year of my life and was moving, but couldn't do it physically and didn't have a lot of help. My parents were unable to help me physically so they offered to help me with movers. I was quoted a reasonable price. The guy was nice on the phone. The day of the move, still gives me nightmares. The guys showed up 2 hours late with the wrong size truck. They had to go back and get the bigger truck for my 2 bedroom apartment worth of stuff. They took their sweet time getting stuff out to the truck, and meanwhile they were going through my personal stuff. They rummaged through my night stand and made comments about my personal contents, and then helped themselves to the mini bottles I had stashed in the drawer. Literally just took them while I was watching. They said it was their tip. They made inappropriate comments and asked a lot of personal and inappropriate questions about my relationship status and sexual orientation and preferences. After 3 hours, they had only loaded up about 1/3 of my stuff. They refused to take my tv because they didn't bring stuff to pack it. They told my parents that they had to pay extra for packing materials that were required like the plastic wrap for the couch. But if they paid cash it would be cheaper. My parents gave them $200 in cash as requested. Except they still charged for the materials on my invoice and it was $75. When we got to my new place across town, they refused to unload until I paid the invoice. They estimated it would take 2 hours to unload so that's what they charged. After I paid, totaling over $2000, they unloaded everything in half an hour. And continued to berate me with inappropriate sexual questions. I still had 2/3 of my stuff to move in less than 24 hours. So me , my mom and my dad who was still recovering from back surgery, worked all night long to get the rest. My dad was hospitalized because he was in so much pain. I had a complete nervous breakdown. When I reached out to the company to complain, they sent me an agreement in my email stating they would refund some of the money, and that I would not seek compensation from them or file any charges. I signed the agreement and never saw a dime and there is nothing I can do about it. Please do your research. Don't let these A-holes ruin your life and take your money. read more

I originally spoke with Drew who went through pricing, and how the move would be billed. He sent me a confirmation with the price quote. I explained that we were moving from a 10X10 storage unit into a 2 bedroom second floor condo. They were aware that there was a piano. Drew gave me a bid of $750 for the use of a truck, 20 miles and a truck. He estimated that it would take 2 hours to load the truck and 1.5 hours to unload. He did tell me that it may take an hour or so longer, but assured me that it would not be over that. I asked them specifically because I was afraid of having it be 2x more that quoted. He assured me that it would not happen. They arrived around 8:45 am with a truck/ 3 men (2 of them new, One was his first day). They did not finish loading the truck until 1pm They arrived at my condo around 1:30 to unpack. It was at this point that my interaction with Conlin Hooly began. He told me that It had taken longer than expected and they only now had this job for the day. He immediately at this time decided to book me until 6pm, including over time. He would not let the movers unload the truck until I paid and began to try to intimidate me to pay. I did pay, but he said it would probably be less and would then refund me the difference. I felt that I really had no option. I stayed with the movers for the afternoon and they were in no rush to get my belongings unloaded. I began to document with photos with timestamps of their work. The movers spent over 1 hour bringing a piano up one flight to my 2nd floor condo. As I watched them, they would take a long time between every step. The manager of the group was training them the whole time which took a lot of extra time. I know employees need to be trained, but that should not be part of the customers expense. There was a time which I have documented that one mover was leaning against the boxes on his phone for almost 10 min, One of the movers sat inside the truck for over 25 min without leaving. Several times in the afternoon I called Conlin and he said he would talk to them. As it got to be around 4:30 the truck was still about 1/3rd full. At 5 pm when the workers knew they had to finish, the pace finally picked up. If they had moved that fast it would have taken at the most 4 hours. They went from moving 1 box at a time up the stairs to a dolly with 4 or so boxes stacked. Why hadn't they been doing that all day? Again I called the office and they told me that they would reach out and move them along, not sure if that happened. I know this was not a 10 hour job. In May "All of my OWN sons" 3 of them moved our entire house in Midway, 45 minutes away, loading the truck AND unloading all of it into TWO storage units in about 6 hours including travel time. Again, I was only moving 1 of the storage units yesterday. The movers were all kind, but slow. I blame this on Conlin. In the morning they were supposed to have an afternoon job, but when they took so long in the morning, Conlin told them they had all afternoon to do the job, on my bill. I have tried to reach out to Conlin today, but was told he was done with me and to call corporate and complain. He gave me their number and I called and they kept sending me back to the Utah office saying they do not deal with billing complaints. Conlin knew this. I did finally speak with Christy in the Ogden office who was willing to help me and provided me with emails and information regarding my complaint. She said if I didn't hear anything by Monday she would help me move the information a long. Before I booked All My Sons, I did my research and they have very favorable reviews, nationwide. As I have looked further, they Utah branches that Conlin manages have 1 star rating. Over and Over again customers have had this same problem that the branch refuses to resolve. I'd give zero stars if I could. Based on my experience with this moving company you need to know the following: They will give you a verbal quote over the phone and then when they move you they will add to the bill any supplies they use to move you, which are not part of the quote as is implied ("the movers will have all of the equipment they need." stated at the time of the quote). They will charge you extra for boxes and that stupid plastic wrap they use. They will NOT prorate your fuel charge or their travel time like they say they they will in your contract e.g. $xxx charge per hr., which implies proration. What they actually do... They will charge you for the full hour. So essentially, I was overcharged from the verbal quote minus taxes roughly $500.00 for a roughly 6 mile move- total from their lot in Murray to the residence I was moving from, to the residence I was moving to in Salt Lake City. This company is one of the worse moving companies I have ever heard of. They came to move my mom out of my house and she was told they could get it all done in 2 hours. After 2 hours they had moved 3 things and stopped because they were only scheduled for 2 hours. They wrap everything but don't tell you that you have to pay for the supplies. They also never told her that she would have to pay for mileage until after they were at the drop off place. Then they threatened to keep her stuff if she didn't pay it. $700 later and not even a dent was made. We ended up having to round people up during the week to get the move done. I got a phone estimate of $311. Final bill was $811 (after they have all the stuff loaded on the truck). There was no change in the work required. The estimate of work was complete and accurate. But the extra fees were high. My complaint is that they knew when they gave the $311 estimate that the final bill was going to be $800. The estimate was just a flat out LIE. If you ask these guys for an estimate, you need to demand an estimate of the final cost, including all their add-ons. I have no complaint about the actual moving. read more

I had to move across state for the country life and property with quadrupled the land & into half the house We're leaving here in X. 1- I had scheduled dump pick up. I announced our plans and witnessed my mother notifying EVERY SINGLE (3) mover about scheduled dump pick up. Everything was being taken care of. The distance we had to travel we thought was adamant time to clean our new house in preparation for the movers. We left all our possessions and the fate of the move with our movers -ONLY OUT OF NECESSITY- Unfortunately, the movers proved lacking #COGNITIVE-SKILLS as they were needing everyone telling them the exact same thing repeatedly/ one after another (this was the theme again at the storage facility) 2- All My Sons Moving continued to work overtime hours to pack everything getting dumped into our storage. 3- I have $overtime hrs for moving & now I have $exceeded storage prices as my unit NOW NEEDS TO HOLD ALL MY CHERISHED THINGS along w Everything That Was Supposed To Get Dumped! --- The dump that wasn't able to happen ---The dump that had already been paid for! ALL because ALL MY SONS Movers had to move my dump into the storage unit where all my stuff is exiled to for a week as We had unfortunately found our house damaged -PREVENTING OUR MOVING IN!- stuck in limbo until we can move out of our storage and into our new Country house. THE WORST MOVERS EVER. INCOMPETENT AND DISHONEST. The damage they did was unbelievable. I'm "older" so I've hired movers many times, and they are so much worse than anyone could comprehend. Holes in the walls from slamming the sofa. Damage to the sofa. Dragging the bed into the mud. They left items behind and we had to get a trailer to finish. And they were so dishonest. The list of problems and issues goes on. I told them I had a 5 bedroom house to move. I wanted two movers for the day. They showed up with 3 movers and a small truck. I said it was not all going to fit. They said they could do it. So when they showed up with more movers, the rate went up 50%. They jacked the rates and made me pay the higher rate as we had to be out that day. I had no recourse as I had to be out by the closing date. The pictures will show you the truth. Please save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. When I put a claim against their insurance they denied it and won't process it. Small claims court is the only way to recover from them. I really wish I had read these reviews before I called this company. They definitely pull the ol' bait and switch. I called and was quoted about $500 because I literally only had about 5 large items I needed moved from a house to a nearby storage unit. Well, the crew showed up and took their time getting things packed up. They said it was their policy to wrap things in the brown moving paper when moving things into storage (that would have been nice to know beforehand) it took them 4.5 hours to move two beds, a table, a couch, a dresser and desk. They tried charging me almost $1500. ($200 per hr is only $900 so another $600 in fee's really?!?) I complained and they took off a $100. And then they took off another $120 because it only took them 20 min to unload the truck and not the hour they thought it would. I did pay a $100 deposit that didn't go towards anything though.... If you absolutely need somebody to move go ahead and get this company but I wouldn't recommend them. I was quoted a certain price so I gave a deposit. Once everything was set in stone we got the ball rolling, they were supposed to be there at a certain time but were 4 hours late, because of this they could only pack up the truck and take it to the warehouse and said they would finish the next day. They wouldn't unpack the truck the next day until I paid. When I told them I wouldn't pay until the job was finished, they said they would take my stuff back to the warehouse and charge me by the hour until I paid. The final bill was a little over double what was quoted. A few items broken and they were very slow. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very bad customer service. read more

Reps will send you 30+ text messages wanting to set up a quote, but refuse to send any actual info when you describe what you need moved. They want to scream at you over the phone, and give inaccurate quotes with no guarantee of the price when they actually show up to move. An honest business would have no issue giving a quote, on paper, that is legally binding, they refuse this because they know they will double charge you. Even after telling their reps repeatedly to stop harassing me, they continued to harass me via text. They claim they can only do business over the phone yet have no problem being rude and abusive over text. Company is clearly a scam and run dishonest business tactics. The second you contact this company your spam emails/calls increase 5x, so clearly they are really in the market of stealing and selling personal information instead of moving. I moved in November of 2024, and the crew was very friendly. Other than that, the company has bad standards. They gave me a quote for four people at a rate. When they arrived at my house, there were five of them. At the end of the day, they gave me the bill, and I was charged twice what I was quoted. I called them and had a big argument with someone in the company, and they basically said that they did me a favor by sending another person to help, or else the move would have taken longer. I was just so upset, and I told them that the quote they gave was a scam because if I had known, I would have just done half of my things to move and called it good. He threatened to hold my things hostage until I paid. This is a very bad business move. I do not recommend this company. Do not hire these movers! They gave a quote that "include gas and everything", then charged me over $400 additional for 16 miles of gas. They broken items and tried to hide it, and straight up didn't deliver an item. It took 7 hours for 4 people to move a small 4 bedroom, and that was with us already having mostly everything packed. What should have been a $1000 move ended up being $2700. Since it took them so long, we didn't even have them move our boxes into the house, instead into our garage, we then had 3 friends come and they moved them all into the house in under 45 minutes. They waste time. Cover EVERYTHING in plastic, then charge you for it additionally, and even with the plastic they broke things. The movers were friendly enough, but not enough to excuse all the problems and cost. additionally we heard them complaining about not getting paid the amount the company was charging us. I requested some help with moving 4 items of furniture about 35 miles. At first I was promised an AM pick up time, but when verification call came I was told PM. I didn't like that but accepted it a it was too late to make other plans. I did not get a call day of pick up so I called company about 2 PM. I was told that they were canceling the move because of a truck problem, and wanted to reschedule for 2 days later, which did not work for me. Needless to say I am extremely frustrated. read more

This was a huge scam. On the phone I was quoted 400$ to move my mattress and a few other items. Well my total was over 1000$ and they wouldn't unpack my items until it was paid. I feel super taken advantage of. Half the time the guys were just standing around, waiting for their iPad to connect. They broke the wooden chest my dad made because one of the guys insisted on throwing it over his shoulder instead of using the handles like I showed him. It was a huge mistake to use them. They specifically told me they give the movers more money for good reviews which I think is really unethical. read more

You'd be much better off moving yourself. These guys under quoted me (the move was triple what the estimate said), booked on a day they were unavailable and had to rebook causing us to have to take extra time off work. Then, during the move, the guys took over 8 hours to complete a move for my 1300 sq foot condo, damaged the flooring and the walls of both the old and new home. Then during the unloading and unpacking process we discovered two heirloom pieces of furniture were badly damaged, my TV was broken, our bedframe was bent, and a few small but valuable things such as my AirPods are missing. I also was informed by our storage unit, that the guys left our storage unit unlocked with at least another carload of items, which they did not disclose to me. Working with claims hasn't been any better. They are extremely slow to respond. I had to request copies of my signed documents and estimate 9 times and still have not received everything and the claim offer I've received is not enough to cover the repairs and replacements, let alone to cover the added stress, labor, inconvenience, and honestly heartache they've caused. I booked these guys based on the quote they provided and their repeated promises to take the utmost care with my property and put the customer first. This has gone so wildly far beyond fraudulence and negligence. This was one of the WORST experiences I've ever had. Moving is already awful, but they made it so much worse. read more

The estimator, Jason, came to the house and did a thorough job of evaluating how much we had to move. He then gave us a bid of $9k. This was $3k higher than other bids we had received. He then stated that if we were willing to box up our goods prior to the move out date our adjusted price would be $6.3k. Jason used deceptive, unethical sales practices and made false statements in order to get the contract. He even texted us to reinforce that the cost of the move would be adjusted to that amount. They used two trucks and 5 guys to move everything. They were supposed to be in Richfield by 8am. Both trucks were late and went to the wrong town (Elsinore). I talked to Josh in the office three times to get updates on where the trucks were at, since they were so late and gave Josh precise information on where U-Haul moving and storage was located in Richfield. One of the crew members swore almost constantly, using f-bombs in almost every sentence, in front of us, the neighbors and family friends and their kids. The crew leader had to be told several times to load items on the porch and stacked in the driveway by the garage. The crew complained about having to load those boxes, and porch furniture. They broke custom handmade statues and furniture pieces that I had carved due to poor placement in the truck. Josh claimed that the second truck was so late due to a flat tire and needing to fuel up, but both the driver and helper said they had no problems coming down other than getting lost. At the end of the move, All My Sons posted a $1 refund to our Affirm account. I called billing and then talked to a manager - after discussing the situation they agreed to refund $275. Please avoid this business. Made a reservation with deposit for a move to begin this morning. Once All my Sons were a half hour late I called. This began their deserved 1 star rating. They begin each phone call by stating how they use "only professional full-time movers who are background checked and drug tested." Well on this day according to the manager on site all their "professionals" had no call no showed. They also apologized for having forgotten to call and alert us that our move would need to be rescheduled for later in the day. After stating that a later time would not work for today, they stated they would contact their team on another job and get back to me. They never called back. I tried calling and it just rang and rang. I then sent an email message to them stating I would be filing a fraudulent charge with the credit card company due to their unfulfilled job. Immediately the same manager called me back and offered to refund my deposit. These people are basically criminals who agree to services then don't deliver. And only upon the threat of legal action did they apologize and refund my money. Stay far away from this company. read more

Sadly, I am changing mine from 5-stars because of the company itself. We were quoted $189/hr with 3 professional movers & a 3-hour minimum. 12% of the final bill would be charged for gas/transportation. Cool. We got 1 professional mover (Sandra) & 2 newbie/trainees. Sandra was having to train them and do a lot of the work herself, so things went very slowly and were disorganized. The trainees broke a very expensive antique cabinet (128 years old!). I was nice to them about it because it was basically their first day on the job and Sandra was very overwhelmed. My cousin and I moved from a small house by Liberty Park to separate apartments on South Temple... 1.6 miles difference. WE WERE CHARGED $2,000! For 5 total hours worked, 1 moving professional, 2 unfortunate newbies, 1 broken antique, and $464 in "packing materials" (they used moving blankets and tape, that's it). After having been transferred to 6 (not joking) different people in different departments, I was finally connected the some dude in the "customer service/claims" department. I was then repeatedly asked what I was trying to accomplish by calling and complaining. UHH HELLO- my broken furniture, the employees begging for reviews so they could get paid, the bill, my overall poor experience... I'M TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH GETTING JUSTICE FOR MYSELF JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IS WHEN THEY CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. The General Manager, Conlin, was supposed to be reviewing our case and said he would get back to us before 5pm on Wednesday. He never did. I work in customer service, I HATE dealing with negative reviews and I know how shitty it is for all the people who actually do work hard in the company. I feel awful writing this but it seems to be the only way to bring about any change. DO NOT BE MANIPULATED INTO PAYING $2,000 for a horrible & stressful experience.
