I had Premiere Coastal Painting come by to give me an estimate to paint my place in PB, there was over 4 years of wear and weather damage and I had a hole in my bathroom ceiling after some water mitigation work from a roof leak. Jesus walked thru the property and gave a great assessment. He offered to do the drywall repair at a reasonable price, expertly recommended the painting of my two sad looking fireplaces, and addressed a number of other concerns. Long story short: Numerous issues with the final product were ultimately fixed and looked professionally done. I ended up hiring Premiere Coastal Painting after going through a yelp quote process. Jesus was quick to respond, and had some great input on colors that would go well with the paint we had upstairs and suggested some apps to use. His pricing was fair and competitive with other painters. We did discuss some very specific items to paint from some bad do-it-yourself work the previous owners of my house left behind, some of which was on the 18 foot vaulted ceilings. The crew that was sent out rushed some of these details the final day, and a lot of work was left unfinished. A lot of hardware was left on and painted around instead of being remove (my husband speaks Spanish and went over this with the crew). We paid extra to paint the front door and it was really sloppy. We treated the crew really well, bought them lunch each day, and made sure they had all the direction they needed throughout the day. I was really sad when I saw areas that were sloppy, and the front door was a mess. I called Jesus and told him about the issues, and he came to my house to do the walk through. Ultimately he did agree the issues I showed him needed to be fixed, and he sent someone different out to correct the sloppy details. It was really frustrating after the initial job, but I am really happy the work now looks professional. Even though there were issues, I was glad to see Jesus cared about the final product enough to standby our contract and leave me with a quality paint job. I needed my fence restained and got several quotes. Premiere was near the lowest but included 2 coats, so I went with them. Plus, I had a really good feeling about Jesus and trusted he knew what he was doing and that they would do a good job. They started later in the week and finished up the job yesterday. My main concerns were how many plants would have to be pulled back to get to the fencing, and to protect the expensive hardscape surrounding it all. It is now November and I have still not spoken with the owner Jesus Hernandez. As of this month the Contractors State Licensing board is beginning a formal investigation for job abandonment after their initial review which indicated there was adequate reasons for such an investigation. We recently got a new roof put on our house and we wanted to finish up making the outside of the house look good so we started getting quotes for getting the house painted. I had a great experience a few week ago with Premier painting. I called for an estimate to have the fascia painted on the 1st & 2nd story of my house. The owner came out and walked around the property to get a thorough understanding of exactly what I wanted. He gave me some good tips to ensure the job is done properly even if I wasn't going to use his service and he answered all of my questions. His painters were extremely respectful of my property and were kind enough to move a couple of items away from the house before starting to paint. A couple of times I came out to look at the progress and they asked of I was happy with the work so far. As the painters were almost finished the owner came out to my house and checked the work, he walked around the property with me and he asked if I was happy with service and he asked for feedback on what his team could have done better. I was happy over all, the only thing was they left painters tape stuck in a few places on the 1st and 2nd level, some paint splatters in a few places, and small wads of tape and paper I have been finding around the property. These were small fixable notes and I will be using Premier painting again soon. read more

Premier Coastal Painting recently painted our 1940's cottage in Del Mar. It was not an easy job, as there was a lot of termite damage (and repair needed) and excessive priming was necessary. We were not the easiest clients either, as we had difficulty deciding on a color.
