I was referred to Jon at all new again by the water damage people that came to repair the plumbing after a pipe burst in my parents home. I couldn't be more happy with the job that all new again did! They completely gutted and repaired the entire downstairs which was ruined by the water damage. The place looked amazing! Our water heater leaked in April 2017 and we called All New Again to take care of the damage. We paid All New Again for the water mitigation and reconstruction. The water mitigation was over $17k and the reconstruction was over $13k. It was a long expensive process and the insurance company contested the ANA invoice. It was a long stressful battle to get the insurance company to finally pay. We thought we were addressing the damage to our home in the most thorough way and we relied on ANA's expertise to guide us through getting our home to look "new again". Recently, mold was discovered in the crawl space where they worked (along with out of place insulation, Gatorade bottle, a 2x6 piece of wood laying on the ground). But the worst part of all of this has been their combative communication with us since. I have a brand new home I've only lived in for two months now (still under warranty). We noticed a shower leak about two weeks ago and called out our contractor to fix it. They pretty much just wanted to paint over the damaged area and call it fixed. When I mentioned mold, they said they didn't know anything about it. So I called All New Again and asked if they might come out and look at my situation. Jon came out within the hour and looked over the damage. Even though he knew he wouldn't be getting the job (the contractor was going to be doing all the work) he gave me a full assessment on what needed to be done free of charge. The supervisor in charge was Andrew Lomakin, who was very friendly and made several trips to my home to discuss the work and pick up paper work, this would happen in the evenings when most people are done working. Aleksey Kushchuk was doing the bulk of the work during the last part of the reconstruction and this was happening right after my son was born. We are looking for a general contractor to do some renovation project for our condo. Alex was able to accommodate our work schedule by coming outside of his work hour ( on a Saturday) to provide us a quote. He was very patient with all of our questions and very professional. We had an upstairs shower overflow due to our 6-yr old covering the drain with a washcloth in order to create a shower pool. Water flowed along the base of the walls and managed to find its way down to the kitchen below through the light fixtures. We called Jon at All New Again. Jon took time to discuss the process. He was easy to contact when we had follow up questions and spent time, without being pushy. They arrived on the job quickly, and started by packing and moving ALL of our belongings in the bathroom and master closet. They went to work pulling up damaged flooring (particle board, linoleum and carpet) and removing a fiberglass shower insert. They used an air injection system with dozens of straw sized air lines that they inserted directly into the based of the walls to ensure complete drying of the bottom plates and floor. They had a machine that kept the air at a constant high temperature and a dehumidifier. Really, a whole battalion of equipment designed to knock out the job quickly and completely. They put up an enclosed heavy-duty plastic barrier in the work error, which was supported by spring-loaded metal poles and had a zippable entry point, so that we could continue to function around the enclosed work area. Cords in the hallway were taped down to avoid tripping hazards. All New Again works directly with the insurance company to negotiate their billing and members of Jon's team that were involved in the job from the start were present when the adjustor arrived to assess the damage. This was helpful, because they were able to answer questions and clearly communicate to the adjustor to ensure we received coverage on full extent of the damage. They really advocated on our behalf, which took a lot of stress out of the situation. We didn't end up using All New Again for the restoration portion of the work, because I was interested in doing the remodel myself. Turns out it's a lot of work (wife is rolling her eyes at me), and is still ongoing. With as thorough as Jon and his team were, I'm sure they would have done a great job and quickly. Couple final touches that show how Jon has his customer's satisfaction in mind: 1) They let us continue to use the temporary clothing racks while we get the bathroom put back together. I don't know if they expected them to be missing so long (we still have them...thanks Jon...we'll be returning them shortly!!). He hasn't bugged us about them except a gentle reminder several months later that we could return them to their office or he could come pick them up :) 2) They sent a really nice bouquet of flowers to say thank you for choosing their service. They were nice. So nice, that all the past flowers I've given my wife look dumb. I just got poorer, as I'll need to buy these kind of flowers for my wife going forward. This past January we were devastated by a huge water loss in our home...We had just replaced carpet & had bought new furniture in December so we were just absolutely crushed to see the devastation done to our home we have worked so hard on. Coming from an Industry that has to battle Insurance day in & day out luckily I was brushed up on my rights as a policy holder & knew the rules of the trade a bit. Although coming from the Auto side of it I knew enough of the game & lingo to have just enough to stay on top of these guys & have an upper hand...but even for myself it was still a little out of my league so that is where Jon Baer came in & saved the day on numerous occasions. As stated in the comment or rating above, yes Insurance companies come in WAY under bid...That IS standard practice (even in Auto estimates) thankfully I knew this so I didn't have to panic. Insurance companies do this for a number of reasons 1. Being that so many people do just cash out their checks & who knows go on a glorious vacation or put a healthy down payment elsewhere, then they try to be "Mr. Fixit" themselves 2. The main reason being that Ins. Inspectors technically can only write a bid for what they can see. Obviously they are not going to overpay up front. So yes, even if they cut you a payment it is a "partial" payment & they will do a "supplement" once repairs start for anything additional. YOU will be liable for your deductible or if you technically "upgrade". Ours bid by Ins. was $10K under what it took to get back to pre-loss condition w/o Jon that couldn't have happened. Our Ins. co. also had a reputation in Collision Repair to fight you every step thru the whole process so I was quite prepared on what it was going to take. It's funny how many people even in auto industry gets intimidated or strong armed into thinking they have no say over their very own property, it's sad. But I loved educating people as much as possible in knowing you never trust people who owe you money. The steering tactic they take on policy holders is very unfortunate but yes so many people just don't know their rights & fall right in line of where they want you. I wish people would just take a pause & realize hmm, isn't it odd how forceful they are to use a company they are so eager to use? To myself & my husband it was worth fighting for what we were entitled..OUR HOME!!! Our largest investment, so yes time spent in a Hotel & the commute to & from my children's schools, sport activities & not to mention documenting EVER single mile. Worth it all! That is where All New Again comes into play also..ONCE we FINALLY got approval with Farmers & got thru the "Ins. Game" Jon completely took the reigns & went into full steam ahead. We were fortunate enough to get two gentleman in our home-John & Joey. They were focused, polite & quite frankly felt like a part of our home. My husband working in Law Enforcement comes with a lack of trust unfortunately in many, especially being unattended in our home. But the instant they all stepped foot in our home we were put at ease...and honestly as stressful as it still was at time with Ins. it still felt great to come home to check in to these guys, even at times going above & beyond on all details of our home. We were out of our home for 50 days, the longest hardest battle was that of Farmers, once Jon Baer received the green light he stayed within his estimated time frame to get our home done to our standards & gave us suggestions & his personal opinion on numerous occasions. He is well established in the ins & out of interior designs. This is a man who is VERY passionate about his business & so compassionate to people in such a bind. Anytime I had ANY doubts or concerns he was there to pick us up & repeatedly kept us assured that we were going to be "just fine". He would say "when all said & done I personally promise you that you will be so overjoyed, everything in the past will no longer matter" To our dismay it was the truth. Every since we have been back into our home since March (for what seemed like a mini lifetime away) we never want to leave. People come over & are just blown away by the work & craftsmanship *Hints to the numerous referrals we have since sent their way. We have referred our Mom & Grandma who have since gotten a full BEAUTIFUL kitchen remodel by three wonderful employees that I hadn't met yet & also a referral to my wonderful girlfriend who has unfortunately just been hit with a MAJOR water leak also.. All have had as wonderful of an experience as us. The company name is All New Again, but after my experience I think they should change their name to "Better then New again". I had a pretty bad house fire on April 22, 2014 at my house. I was referred to John at New Again. They came out same day of the fire, accessed it and said they could take care of everything from A to Z. With in 24 hours they had started the cleanup and saving and storing of my valuable stuff that was not damaged. They contacted my insurance company and started the process. It was like an Army of ants all over the place getting things done immediately and effectively. As of yesterday, July 29, 2014, I got to move back into my house that I had missed so dearly. Everything, and I mean everything was better then when I left, everything, towels, food, pictures you name it was re-stocked and back in its correct perfect place. It was if I had just gone on a 4 month vacation and returned to a nice clean, fresh ALL NEW AGAIN house. But for me, the BEST THING, I never even had to take time out of my busy days or go through the frustration of dealing with the insurance agent for my house. I never saw him or spoke to him. Kudos to Amir and Jesse for coming out and spending good amount of time explaining everything into detail about several issues that I had questions about. I had a leaky roof that penetrated into the ceiling and walls, causing damage to kitchen and couple of other areas. They spent 3 hours going over all those issues, taking time to explain what each and every one of these areas need to be fixed properly. This is all new to me and those two took the time from their busy schedules and educate me about the whole process without any hidden agendas and forcing the sale. The ANA Remediation team did an excellent job removing and replacing all of the damaged sub-flooring and floor joists that were discovered during their recent mitigation work. Art's team was very courteous, conscientious and easy to work with throughout the project. They made sure that all or the damaged areas were repaired, that our home was kept clean and orderly and that any debris was promptly removed. They also identified an area of sub-flooring that the home builder had failed to insulate properly, helping us save on heating expenses in the future. We first got in touch with All New Again to quote out our front walk up and roof for replacement. Jon arrived with two of his job supervisors to review the scope of work to get a detailed quote for us. During our visit Jon noted in our master bath that the grout and seal appeared to be inadequate for the stone work. We decided to move forward with the quote All New Again presented to replace all the grout and caulk in a shower that contains over 27,000 individual tiles quite a detailed and time consuming project. The crew showed up on the agreed date and time and got right to work. Sergey the job lead ensured they took all measures to protect the house from any work related dust or debris. At the end of each work day they left the house cleaner then when they started. The team is very courteous and delightful to work with. They have a strong attention to detail and do a great job about reporting back to you as to where they are with the project. Even though this scope of work was not an expected expense for us we are secure in knowing all the money we have invested in the remodel is now secure for years to come. read more

I contacted All New Again to do some electrical work around my house. The house was built around 30 years ago and still has the original fixtures, so some of them were getting old. Erin immediately called me back and set up a time to come out the very next day. He was punctual (early actually), professional, and courteous. It was clear from the onset that the review of damage wasn't going to be too thorough and the 'recommended' contractors were not going to do much but agree with the insuramce company on what the damage was. I began a search for an independant contractor and was fortunate enough to find Jon Baer with 'All New Again' right here in Mill Creek. He was knowledgable, efficient and took over all communication with the insurance company for us - determining (with thorough documentation) that the damage was far worse than what the insurance company tried to wrie us a check for. Jon is pleasant and thorough, and he has a team that does high quality work. These guys aren't corner cutters at all - we had them in our house when we weren't home - they were trustworthy and cleaned up every day like they hadn't even been there! We would highly recommend this company for any restoration work or damage you need to have repaired in your home. The major bonus of working with Jon was that he has been in the industry for a long time and is very comfortable working with the insurance companies on making sure the repairs made are for exactly what the damage consists of - no less. I highly recommend All New Again. I have hardwood floors in a couple of bedrooms and a hallway that had been under carpet for years. I removed the carpet and the hardwood wasn't in awful condition, but certainly needed rejuvenating. Jon (the owner) was incredibly responsive and communicative in setting up the appointment. Flooding is the worst! Imagine standing in three inches of sewer water that used to be your living space. I was recommended All New Again and contacted them on a Sunday. By Monday, the salvageable items were packed and sent to storage and the work of drying began. What started as a super scary experience was made tolerable by Jon and his team. Jon not only advised with regard to the insurance stuff, he kind of took over for me. He spoke with the reps, negotiated the repair costs and made this overwhelming experience understandable to a rather plumbing ignorant, single mom. He was in constant contact. Even my seemingly ridiculous questions were handled immediately and with care. Jon's staff were knowledgeable and super nice to work with. Jon was patient with some ongoing issues (that had nothing to do with All New Again) and helped me brainstorm resolutions. Super shout out to foreman Pablo, who was invaluable to this experience. By the end, it's true, the basement was "All New Again." We moved back into the space with a few extra's we hadn't anticipated. It's like the flood never happened. Putting your complete trust into someone you expect to be an expert is hard. I've been burned before by experts. Jon is an expert, but of the most unusual kind. After a water damage incident in our kitchen, I called around to get some information and choose a contractor. We've owned this home for 10 years and this was our first insurance claim so I had no idea how this worked. I was frustrated with the responses I received. Some took days to return my calls, some told me how they could piece together a kitchen with the money my insurance offered. Others, couldn't even meet with me for over a month. All New Again had excellent reviews so I gave a call and spoke with Jada Baer. I knew I had found something different! She spent close to an hour on the phone with me, explaining the insurance process and talking about my needs and expectations so that she could pair me with a contractor that would be the best fit. I'm a no-nonsense woman who wants clear and concise communication and efficiency. I like to understand the "why" behind things. I also appreciate pleasant personalities. Amir Vojnikovic became our contractor and we have had a great relationship! My husband was the one that pushed for him. In our interview, Amir told us that we were getting short changed by the insurance company and we deserved to restore our kitchen to pre-loss condition which would require more funds. He gave me a ballpark idea of what the kitchen would cost, which is what he would try to get us from the insurance company. But, it would take some time and patience. I thought Amir's claims were a little inflated and that maybe we should go with the other guy who simply promised us a fast kitchen using the money the insurance already offered. My husband used to be a project manager. The minute we shut the door, he said "THAT GUY! That is who we want to oversee your new kitchen, babe! He knows his stuff. Trust me." Amir always responds timely, always keeps me in the loop and he is an expert in this field. I don't know how he has a life outside of this business because he is so on-point with so many customers. He was here with my husband and I the other day for 3 hours, into the evening, going over the vision. I'm sorry, Amir's family! I don't bother him on the weekends so hopefully he takes a break. I would describe his personality as cool, confident, assertive, calm, comfortable to be around and he has a grin that keeps things light. He was likely a mischievous child. He is a leader. This is the type of guy you want in your corner! When I come up with an idea and run it by him, he usually says, "No problem, Leisha. We can make that work." Remember what I said about the insurance? Well, lets just say he blew our minds. He more than doubled the original insurance payout. He went the extra mile, kept up communication with my insurance company, met the adjuster at our house and went LINE by LINE down the detailed scope of work he created, ready to debate any discrepancies with the adjuster's estimate. Eventually, he pounded the insurance company into submis.... Just kidding, I don't want to get him in trouble. But I'm sure my insurance company will just roll over and play dead if they see his name again. We demo here shortly so I can't speak to the actual work but I trust him. He has earned that, so far. We have picked out beautiful materials and he has introduced very helpful and professional people to work with on the cabinets and flooring. I can't say enough about Kyle Haberkorn at Pro Source and Angela Anderson at Huntwood Custom Cabinets. Also, All New Again's HVAC team- John Harris, Adrian and Sterling- all very friendly and knowledgable about the issue they were sent to repair. I kind of wished they had been able to just stay for dinner. One day, I was with Kyle at Pro Source, learning about my flooring options, and in walks Matt Christensen who is another project manager at All New Again. He overheard me say I was working with Amir and proceeded to spend an hour with Kyle and I, giving his professional opinion on some materials and options for my home, also explained some things to me about the restoration/remodel process. I really appreciate the extra mile these guys go. It feels like a big family. Jada continues to check in and see if things are going well. I would not recommend All New Again. They were difficult to work with, did not listen or seem to care about timelines. They would show up at random times and not show up when they said they would. All New Again is an outstanding general contractor company. Don't let their webpage fool you; they do it all, not just restoration after something bad happens to your home. They are a full service contracting company who employ certified plumbers, electricians and builders. They are licensed, bonded and insured. I could not be at home while they worked on my kitchen reno for 2 days and I always felt like my house and possessions were safe-everything was still in my home after the work was done. They are honest and upfront about costs. They arrived to every appointment on time and prepared. They made multiple planning visits and even asked one of the project managers to come in a review the project. My plumber, Dan Gibson, came over at the end of a long Friday after a long week just to hook up my sink after the plumbing inspection passed. Erin Peabody, my electrician, was highly informative and produced excellent results. Josh Keller assisted them in the job and he was professional and when I needed advise about some dry rot on the exterior wall, he provided me a thorough explanation of what needs to happen to fix it and how I can "bandage" it up until next spring/summer. They answered all of my questions with patience and were professional and courteous the whole time. I know they are not the cheapest or are they the most pricy. They are fair and their work is outstanding. I recommended them to a friend the other day, she called them and Dan called her back within hours and had an appoint set for the next week. She is incredibly pleased. Other contractors I called either never returned my call or failed to call me back after meeting with me. I had new carpeting installed in my house and I am so pleased with the results. Jon's highest priority was that I was happy with the end results. It is nice to see that there are companies that are interested in what I want and to make sure that when they walk away that I am satisfied. When water gushes from your upstairs bathroom into the garage, you know you have an issue of some proportion. All New Again was recommended by Apollo Plumbing to take care of the water damage to both my bathroom and garage. Pavla, Joe, Amir, and Joey and Corey (the two vets!) were professional, efficient, and courteous. They arrived promptly and took care of stopping the water damage and then drying out both upstairs and in the garage. They went the extra mile to help me when I blew the fuses on which the blowers were and accidentally impacted my furnace. They came out at night and then the next day until they helped me set the furnace working again. That was definitely above and beyond their contract. Would I recommend them for any job? I discovered a moldy section of drywall and called a plumber. The plumber would not touch the area until the mold was cleaned out and recommended these guys. Corey and Shawn were able to come to my home the same day I called. They measured out where the leak was and ran various faucets to try and recreate the problem. They talked with me about mold abatement options and what I could do versus what they could provide. They were both very helpful and friendly. I'm so glad I called them. read more
