Detroit was light and thick with excellent frico edge. Sauce was slightly sweet with nice flavor. Cheese was melted nicely with slight caramelization. The Figgie had fig jam, prosciutto, goat cheese, arugula and a balsamic drizzle! It was out of this world! I use figs and prosciutto on my pizza at home but never seen in at a restaurant. Highly recommend! Staff was attentive and answered questions about their Detroit style hydration. Apparently all dough is made daily in house each morning. Restaurant was large, but they had several areas blocked off. Only two available tables for dine in. Not sure if they had an event later that day or not. No big deal, this was a Friday night, we get it. When she arrived right at 8pm, the order still wasn't ready, and staff seemed unsure what was going on. This was after we had already called to confirm it. Then we were told the system doesn't "trigger" the order until the scheduled time, which doesn't make much sense if you're offering timed pickups. In the end, the pizza didn't come out until about 30 minutes late for no clear reason. Really disappointing experience overall because the food itself was solid, but the breakdown in the ordering system and communication left a pretty sour impression.
