Actually called me once after drop off because my pet was so stressed they didn't want to upset him anymore and didn't want to go through with the groom. Yesterday I brought my cocker spaniel/corgi mix to all paws and what a wonderful experience. My dog has anxiety issues from being abandoned on the side of the road and they were very accommodating. It took about an hour and a half for the works package and was about $55 plus tip. It's a small building and they do tend to book a couple of weeks out so book early. We chose this place because they don't use crates or a drying booth. They don't keep your dog for hours. We had heard all the horror stories from petco and pets mart of dogs dying for being in the dryer too long. Great service at All Paws! read more

I love this pet salon! The owner is extremely nice and handles animals very well. I have always been very cautious in dropping my dog off to be groomed and after a terrible experience at a pet chain store grooming salon I started giving her baths at home. I tried this place after reading the website and seeing her experience with animals. I was very impressed by the care I got for my dog and she did a great job! She also worked with my concerns (my dog isn't very well adjusted to other dogs) and she got me in at a time where no one else was scheduled! I can't say enough great things about her- the prices are even low for the area and the quality and care are 100 times better! Tip: look for the coffee mug place- otherwise you might miss it! You can turn into that business and just go to the right and park by the salon. read more

First time = perfection! I brought my long hair cat i'Geirge' in today. The two ladies working at the salon were wonderful. They asked me what I was looking for, if George had been groomed before and had me complete an informational form. They were both very friendly and welcoming to both George and I. When George was done they called me immediately. They had done a fantastic job but recommended a different method on his paws next time due to George's stress. OMG I don't know where to begin w/this company. I just received a very long letter in the mail about my negitive review on how poorly I thought the grooming was on my dog. LaKiesha why have a review pg. if you don't want to see ALL reviews good or bad, that's how you can improve. I read plenty of poor reviews on here before placing my review. I have only taken Bear to Petco twice, he has not gone to any other groomer in his life. I haven't "Worn out" any " Welcome" with any dog groomer, and I suspect I will find a dog groomer who can groom a topknot!!! The pic I showed you may have been of a show dog, no way to know for sure, but should have been easy enough to follow for any seasoned groomer. As for you fixing the topknot, there wasn't enough topknot left to fix, you cut too much of it off!!!!! Do not feel bad for my little Bear, he's a very happy, healthy, silly, fun loving, perfect little dog. There's nothing I wouldn't do for him. I'm a very lucky dog mom, and I take that job seriously. I am sincerely grateful for everyone at All Paws for taking such wonderful care of my cat Freeway. Freeway has gorgeous long fluffy soft hair that makes him very sick (like needing to go to Tufts hospital sick)when he grooms. My vet advised me to have him religiously groomed! After reading every review on every groomer in the state of MA, cuz I am crazy in love with him and I'd die if he ever was hurt, I decided to give All Paws a try. They were so loving and gentle with Freeway and frankly me! He gets a great lion cut, his nails are nicely trimmed and they even clean his ears. When they put him back in the carrier, he gets all goofy chewing on and rubbing his face all over his new catnip bag. When I get home and unzip his carrier he bounces out just enough to say "hey I look and feel FABULOUS". All Paws keeps my cat healthy, they are caring and they offer a necessary service to animals that have illnesses that require grooming. I have learned just how necessary All Paws is and how much I appreciate them since COVID. Thank you All Paws...stay healthy and safe...Freeway needs you! read more

Brought my dog here for the first time today and it was a great experience. They made the whole process very easy plus the price was perfect for a bath, ear cleaning and nail clipping (the cute bandana was a very nice touch). We have had our long haired cat groomed here twice now. She is kind of nervous and has had some accidents while at other places bring surrounded by dogs while she waits. At All Paws she is taken right back and treated great while on the table. When we get home she looks and smells great and even struts around the house w new confidence! Hahaha. Anyway, great place. I am an auburn resident and have owned dogs for years. I've always done my own grooming, but recently with our new puppy we decided to start having her groomed based on her breed- a golden doodle. She is very mellow and laid back so no issue brushing, trimming nails etc. we have visited this salon many times and today will be the last time our pet is groomed here. In the past I was never thrilled with the results, but found the owner to be pleasant and the place clean. I do feel she consistently has pushed us to simply shave the dog- even though I want her groomed with some fur. I've had to trim the dog each time after due to in even cutting. Today the dog was totally shaven. My husband requested same as always (her puppy cut) and she now has badly shaven fur- I could have certainly shaved her myself if that us what we wanted. I called the owner right away who when asked why the dog was shaven reacted and said defensively that I did not take care of the dog, did not brush her every day ( mind you her hair was really short- not long) and that she had to shave her due to matting. News flash- I do brush the dog. She had a matted area under an ear( so super common) and on a leg area. No where else- I know this because I brush her!! So the owner tells at me and says it would have taken too much time to brush her out so she shaved her instead. ?? I'm lost- I pay for the time - she said she could not take that much time to groom her so instead of calling or even saying she required more money or a longer appt. she shaves the dog entirely in the winter with no communication whatsoever with the owner. I've taken good pics of the dog and plan to post them. Even the shaving is AWFULLY done. Uneven, terrible. Really a shame because the place is clean and convenient for us. I am a holistic animal care provider- i will say the owner is great with the animals, but the service is for grooming- when I think she shaves every animal that comes in versus taking the time to groom - which she is charging for. read more

We had a wonderful experience at All Paws Pet Salon. My nervous cat was treated extremely well and the cut was perfect. The groomer and her assistant are lovely people. We will be back next year for his annual shave and I will recommend this business to friends and family. As the "one star" below - there are no words for the disgusting way people rant on the internet. This is a excellent business and Christy's complaint actually made me want to take my cat there - the welfare of the admittedly matted dog was more important to the groomer than a Yelp review. First timer.....uneasy from the get go. We arrived to be greeted by another dog growling. She immediately shoveled the dog to what looked like a porch. Mind you , at this time our dog, whom is just a big baby, was showing signs of being frightened. To our mistake we still felt that being the first time there, everything was just new. We said good bye and had a bad feeling about the way we just left him. Excited from the call stating that he was done we rushed back. At first site of him I noticed his right eye was completely blood shot. Mind you there was plenty of time for the groomers to bring this to my attention first. I asked , what happened to his eye ? I was answered with an unclear....something might have gotten in his eye, just use eye drops and it will be fine. Then there was another answer of " He was barking so much he must have broken a blood vessel in his eye." Seriously, there was zero concern for this dogs eye and zero concern for letting us know. As a matter of fact there was an actual request of letting them know when scheduling the next visit because there was excessive barking. I waited a full week to add this review thinking to my self maybe something did get in his eye and did not want to jump the gun. Just for everyone to know. Our dog gets extremely stressed while driving. We have driven from Auburn to York Beach Maine many times through out the year, he continuously barks on the ride and has never had an eye issue. All indications lead towards an eye contusion. Which could have accidently happened by many different ways. But the fact it was not brought to our attention when we came to pick him up leads me to feel very uncomfortable about bringing our dog back to this place. read more
