Beyond a perfect experience, working with Adam and All Pro completely reshaped my expectations for what a contractor can be. Our job was complicated because the roofer had to coordinate with a solar panel company, a termite company, and a solar tube company. Adam was an ideal communicator with all parties and accommodated everyone despite several changes in plan. Then after a perfect roof installation with a clean and diligent install crew, a leak was caused during installation by one of the solar contractors. Even though all pro did not cause the leak, and even though they do not typically do repairs, Adam made sure we were taken care of and left us able to relax with a sound roof (for the second time). My wife loves the way the roof looks, and neighbors are always asking us for our roofer's contact information. With all of the requirements and issues with our project, choosing any roofer other than All Pro would have been an enormous mistake. Not to mention that theirs was the least expensive of four roofing quotes we received and that they made several trips to the house to answer questions and show samples before we even signed. This company's customer service is genuine. They take care of you without taking shortcuts because they sincerely want you to be happy with the work. After the recent rains I became aware that I needed a new roof. The facts are that I needed a complete tear off and reroof of my 60 year old house in Los Alamitos. I solicited three five-star Yelp rated Roofers. All three could have done the job well. All Pro won the competition based on cost and schedule. They committed to a May start and on April 30th, I got a call from Adam. He said the job would take 3-5 days and All Pro was finished in four. I work full time, so Adam had the courtesy to call me 2-3 times per day with information and updates, so that I knew what to expect when I came home. The workmanship that went into the roof is outstanding and has completely improved the overall appearance of the house. Simply stated, don't bother calling anyone else. Period. Jim and his crew are a pure class act. We just had our entire roof redone the past three days. Actually, 2.5 days. Everything was timed and executed so perfectly, it was hard to believe there was a crew on our roof. I don't think the main crew ever took a break or a restroom stop. Every day, the entire area was cleaned and policed beautifully. If the crew said they would be here at 8am, the first shingle was being nailed down at 8am sharp!! Jim, you should be very proud of the business you have built. I just wish every contractor I deal or dealt with could take customer service lessons from you!! They are fantastic! I have to say that I have had some horrible experiences with contractors in the past, with them being sneaky, changing the price on me, and pushy with selling their services. However, our house desperately needed a reroof especially with a new leak, therefore I contacted All Pro Roofing because they had great reviews on Yelp. And I have to say, the experience was the difference between day and night! Jim was prompt in returning my phone calls, scheduled a measuring of the roof, and gave me several different estimates based on the different types and styles of roofs. They never rushed me into a decision, and gave me ample time to think things over. Finally, when I selected a roof and skylights, they gave me a final estimate and also disclosed to me any additional costs that I might encounter because of wood that needs to be replaced because of rotting or termite damage. Luckily, the roof tiles were available at the warehouse, so they were able to start the following week and finished everything in four days. This is not your rip the old off, slap a new one on, grab the check and run. The owner and crew are very professional and pay attention to detail at every step of the process. At the end of every day they cleaned the area. Even though it was delayed by one day due to a forecast of rain they finished it one day ahead of the estimated completion date. All Pro Roofing installed three turbine vents on our roof a few months ago and we were very satisfied with the quality of their work. Jim made sure every thing was perfectly clear on the phone before we made the deal to get the work done. On the day of the job I was glad to see that the turbines (which they picked up) were of good quality, and after I spoke to Jim in person they began working immediately. Jim even made sure we moved the car out of the garage so it wasn't scratched by anything since they were installing a turbine above the garage. A windy, stormy day came along and took off a bunch of our roof shingles exposing us to the elements. We chose Jim out of 5 bidders for a HERO loan roof (prior to a solar panel install). Some dog-and-pony shows were 3x higher, some were lower. All Pro came in slightly higher than the low-ballers. He's just a great guy with decades of experience and a great crew. He walked us through the process, answered all of our question, and addressed all of our concerns. Also, he is HERO approved and knows that system. He also knew at which point in the roof install to have the solar people come in and place the panel mounts. If you do the roof first and leave it to the solar installers they will sometimes do a hack job on your new shingles. We had a great outcome. The roof looks great and we know that if anything goes wrong or need to add something that we can count on All Pro. Highly recommend. read more

A good solid 4.5 stars, but I feel generous, so I am rounding up. All Pro Roofing did a great job replacing our roof - they showed up on time, worked hard every day and finished early! Amazing - contractors that actually get the job done ahead of schedule! They were super nice as well. And the price was the lowest of all the quotes I got (and I got several). They lose a star because they were supposed to replace all the dry rot on the roof and after they were done, my husband found a big patch of dry rot right in plain view. They get half a star back for coming back and replacing the dry rot for free. And there were some plants that got trampled in the process. Plus we are still finding pieces of roofing around the house (even though it has been several months), but I guess that is to be expected. Overall, one of the best experiences working with contractors and I would recommend them to anyone! read more

Eric from All Pro came out to estimate repairing my roof which had a leak and needed new lap boards and roofing on top. Went on the roof and checked everything out as I asked to see if there are any other problems. Said he'd get back to me with an estimate. Really, why not give me an estimate on the site? But Ok. A week later, nothing. Two, then three weeks pass. I give them the benefit of the doubt thinking he lost my number. Called and left a message and now four days go by and still no response. Don't waist your time with these guys. They don't follow through. read more

I called All Pro for an estimate on a complete tear off and reroof of my house. Jim took the details, Matt came out and measured and within 48 hours I had a call with a firm price estimate. The other contractors I called were nowhere near as responsive, so I decided on All Pro for the job. Jim came by early evening to fit our schedule, explained the process and we signed the contract. That was Thursday and the teAr off crew were here first thing Monday morning. I was impressed by how fast they worked and the clean up was amazing, no mess anywhere. By late afternoon the rough fit of sheathing was complete and by Thursday noon the new roof was finished and looking excellent. No damage to stucco, rain gutters or plants around the house and the yard was CLEAN!!!!!!! Jim and Matt kept us in the loop, visited and checked as work progressed and were knowledgable and very professional throughout. I highly recommend All Pro for any roofing needs you have. read more

They originally installed a new roof with a 7 year labor warranty and 30 year warrantied tiles in 2002. A few weeks ago the vent spinners on the roof came off during a windy couple of days. We covered them temporarily to avoid the current rain issues. Now we have a roof leak and I reached out to them. They blew me off and said the labor warranty ran out (I knew this) and that the manufacturer is now out of business (so much for advertising warrantied products) so they passed me off on a roofing supplier to find some one to do repairs on their roof. They didn't offer to come out and at least look at it....I would have paid them to help us from incurring further damage, but they "aren't taking on new repairs". I assume that to mean that I am not the only person with failing roofs that they installed. Before I would have recommended them....now I recommend you avoid them and their lack of professionalism and service. read more
