After Jamal reached out, I went back to take another car that needed smogged. Tom was very nice and helped me out after I explained the situation. He verified that Jamal reached out to me and kindly offered to reimburse me for the first smog. I just wanted the coupon honored and have the free retest just in case. They waived the smog fee on my second car as courtesy. It passed and I paid the $8.25 for the certificate fee. They also honored the free retest on my first smog. Shame on you guys! Trying to take advantage of women. I went in waited 30 min to even speak to someone about an oil change. My first red flag was after asking what it cost for a tire rotation I was told "like $25 dollars" I said oh wow i thought your menu said $15. Then he said oh is it $15? When they finally started to process my request for an oil change in the computer l showed my synthetic blend coupon for it for $24. Mind you the other tech already said ok. But this guy proceeded to tell me I need just synthetic not synthetic blend that it would be $45 and different from the coupon. Do you think I'm stupid? I've gotten at least 10 oil changes in this car from big o. Only came here because of the coupon. I took their SYNTHETIC BLEND coupon over to them and they confirmed that is in fact what I need and that they were just trying to come up on me. First off, this station is STAR certified. I'm not sure why they don't mention it in their online presence, or make it more clear of it's there somewhere. I needed a STAR certified station for my older vehicle. The gentleman at the counter was friendly, aquired my information quickly and was straight forward about the pricing. They gave me an accurate estimate of the wait since there were several people in front of me, so I left and took a walk instead of waiting in the room. The waiting area was clean and they had a TV playing something that seemed interesting. When they were done they called me and I paid. They car showed no signs that anyone had even been in it, although they of course had to drive it into the shop to do the check. All around great service and experience. My oldest vehicle needed a smog check. So after waiting until the 11th hour on the last day, I thumbed through the "Penny Saver" and later ended up at Smog Tech with my coupon in hand. After presenting my documents to the employee behind the counter, I was quickly told I needed to take my car into a "Star" smog center which, Smog Tech is not. So, back to the Penny Saver again, I saw a All Pro Smog coupon in the book and yes, they were a "Star" smog center. After arriving at All Pro Smog, I again presented my vehicle documents along with the coupon. But before I and the employee got too far into conversation, I was told the coupon didn't apply to "Star" checks. It was only valid for the regular, two or five year checks. That information is not mentioned in their coupon and from what I understood from the employee that helped me, It's a common occurrence at their shop. After filling out a short form and handing over my car keys, I sat behind three other customers to await my cars fate. Will it pass? or fail and cost me an arm & leg to fix? After a wait of approximately 30 minutes, my car was done and yes, it passed without a glitch or hitch. The total cost for my special "Star" smog check ended up costing me $51 dollars. The last mention is, I went to get my smog check on a Monday afternoon. I was told without hesitation by the employee who helped me that, "I came at a good time." He said on a Saturday afternoon, the wait time for a smog check can run around four hours, and that was an approximate time. If your do for a smog and your looking through a coupon book, be sure your vehicles not due for a "Star" check. Next, make sure you read the fine print of that coupon. read more

TAKE CAUTION regarding this All Pro Smog $30 fo $62 Yelp deal. I purchased it right before taking my car in for a smog test this last Friday. They couldn't test my car because their computer was having an issue connecting to my car and the tech didn't know why. Also he pointed out a repair that he didn't believe was done correctly to an air hose near the engine. I said okay I'll get that fixed so my car can be re-tested but the tech told me that I couldn't (even though this establishment advertises free re-test) because this was a "one time yelp thing". Funny, he didn't mention this detail when I was checking-in nor did I see this clause in the yelp terms & conditions afterwards :/ So basically if you buy what sounds to be like a good Yelp Deal you won't get the full service benefits because purchased a smog at a discount through yelp. If you do take advantage of the deal you better be sure your car will pass. read more

Called up to get a smog on my daughters car. They said come down when ever you feel like it. So I came down right after I hung up the phone. There were to cars in front of my daughter car. We decided to go walking and grab some lunch. By the time we came back they had just finished her smog. The car passed and we were on our way. No appointment needed. Extremely happy. Clean and pleasant looking shop many chairs for customers to sit when waiting. Nice tv to watch while your waiting and cool AC. Staff was very respectful and knowledgeable. Came in today to get some new tires & was helped by the manager Patrick. Patrick was very attentive & was able to help me find the right tires for my needs. Patrick was very knowledgeable with the different types of tires that they offered & was able to answer all of my questions. I was able to walk in (they offer appointments and walk ins are welcomed), and the wait time was about 60 minutes. Found this shop on yelp.. and with the great reviews and coupon!! Called and made an appointment for later in the day (schedule was pretty wide open) and the guy who helped me was super nice and friendly. This shop right here is a small shop hidden in the back corner of the lot. Very well kept/clean with a bunch of Tracy Press awards on the wall. (I shd have taken some photos but my phone was dying). I walked in 5 mins before appt time and was slightly confused because it was my first time there. I didn't know where to go or who to talk to, I just saw a bunch of people sitting. Finally someone was nice enough to tell me, just wait over there and they will come help you. So I did and a few seconds later someone came in from the garage to help me. Friendly guy told me to complete paper- I told him i had an appt at 4. It was 3:56. He told my keys and went back into the garage. When I got there there was a waiting room full of people and I wasn't sure if they would get to my car during the scheduled time. Once 4:05 rolled around I kept looking around to see if they were working on my car but didn't see it and just figured they were super busy. Finally 4:10 rolls around and I see them backing my car out of the garage (it was in another space I couldn't see from the window) and parking it outside. They left the car there for a quick minute and finally came inside and told me my car was done. Yay!!! They are super easy and quick and very friendly. Glad I made an appt.
