DO NOT USE! Their technician came out and quoted me $400 to find and fix a problem. I didn't realize they were gouging me and taking advantage of me. The technician found a gas leak and then said he could fix it for $2200. When I told him no way, he then said he would see if he could give me a better price and would send a quote the next day. I told him I was going to get several quotes and i never heard from him again. Whipple came out and fixed it for $160 - the whole thing. i called and asked for a partial refund and also sent a message - never heard a word. They are dishonest and they lie. read more

We hired Allpro to come check our gas fireplace and get it running for us , the tech did an awesome job but the mistake we made was we paid the for their membership so we could get free checks on our other appliances, The first man that came to check our furnace Told us we had a dangerously high reading of Carbon Monoxide, then he gatherd his things and quickly left , telling us his sales man would be here to sale us a new one, When he got here he gave us a quote for $12,000 and seemed quite pushy, I said no, I wanted to contact our Homeowners insurance first and see if they could fix it, I did , and they sent someone over within the next hour and they tested the Carbon Monoxide, it read 0% he even showed us his readings. Can you give less than a 1 star?? Really bad experience. Had a repairman come out to look at our dishwasher that wouldn't drain. He spent a little bit of time tinkering with it and then determined that it was the drain pump (a pretty quick and easy fix). But, to fix it, he was going to charge us a little over $500 dollars. My wife and I opted against it, so we paid him the $125 service charge and bid him farwell. Heck, we could essentially get a brand new dishwasher for less than that. Plus, since a drain pump is such an easy fix, I just opted to do it myself. I went and bought the part (Sidenote, bought it for $68 and All Pro was gonna charge me $170 for the same part), came home and replaced it in 30 minutes. I guess All Pro charges $400 bucks an hour for labor, since he was gonna charge me $200 for labor which took 30 minutes of work. And guess what?!? After I replaced it, it still didn't work. It apparently wasn't the drain pump. Well, I thought, everyone makes mistakes. I'll just go into All Pro tomorrow, explain the situation, and surely they'll send him back out to try and find the real problem. They told me there was no way to know if I had actually fixed it correctly, and that if we wanted him to come back out, it'd be like starting all over, and they'd have to charge us another $125 service charge. What the hell?!? So, I'm gonna pay another $125 to roll the dice on this guy who didn't have a clue the first time?? And then, to tie a nice little bow on the incompetence of this whole ordeal, I had an amazing guy come out today to take a look at the problem, discovered that it was simply that our drain hose was clogged, he cleaned it out, and the problem was fixed. It took him 20 minutes and $90 bucks to fix a problem that was going to cost us $508 bucks with All Pro, and it still wouldn't have been fixed, since they diagnosed it wrong to begin with. So, the service charge and actual repair of our dishwasher cost less than just the service charge alone from All Pro. Not to mention, the guy today told me the drain pump was obviously never even the problem so I wasted $68 bucks on a drain pump that never needed to be replaced in the first place. And when I called All Pro today to explain it all to see if they'd be willing to do something for me, to make up for the poor business and customer care, there was nothing at all. No offer of anything. So, yeah, there is no shot I will ever be using this company again, and neither should you. And, my wife is in the home renovations and interior design space, and works with a TON of home owners, and guess who we will NOT be recommending that they use. Just bad business. Period. read more

Again at 2:30 told me he was running late and need to change the time again. Cancelled services altogether as I couldn't waste more time waiting for someone to arrive. Came out after ordering parts for to fix a gas oven after an initial diagnostic visit, oven failed to work after the "fix", company claimed that they are awaiting parts from the manufacturer, many weeks later still waiting for a parts and no working oven. My furnace stopped working in mid-December 2025. I contacted a repair center that advertised as a local repair shop, but it was not. They sent a technician's name, Gery D. He examined the furnace and stated that the control board is faulty, the replacement cost is .$2700, and, better yet, they can replace the furnace for $10,000. I refused these outrageous prices and told the technician I would get a second opinion. Later that day, a supervisor named Jeff called me at home with the same sales pitch. My subsequent search revealed that the failure was due to a transformer costing $25. This technician is either incompetent or the whole shop is dishonest. read more

My parents furnace stopped working. I called All Pro because they were Gephardt approved. First I am going to notify Gephardt to remove his approval. When I looked at it the only problem I saw was that the bearings on the induction motor were shot. The technician came out and said that the whole furnace and AC unit needed to be replaced because the AC coolant was leaking and they is what gummed up the motor. He also saw rust in the air intake chamber and said see because of the leak. He was full of garbage. The rust was from a water softener drain tube that wasn't over the floor drain so it caused water to pool and rust in there. Another Honest tech came out from another place and agreed with me it was just the induction motor. My cost went from 15k to 800 dollars. Such a dishonest company. read more

I hired All Pro to clear a blocked washing machine drain pipe. Shortly afterward, a leak developed in the line that poured water into the room below. The laundry room floor and washer pan were completely dry, and I had never experienced a leak before, so the problem clearly started after their work. When I called the company, they insisted their equipment could not have caused any damage and refused to help--other than suggesting I hire a restoration company at my own expense to repair the flooring, drywall, and other damage. Potential customers should know that if something goes wrong, All Pro will not take responsibility or fix the issues they create. read more

I wish I would have read some of these reviews before hiring All Pro. I would have seen that they are Scammers and Con Artists. I had a Horrible experience with All Pro. I literally feel ripped off, and they keep blowing me off and claiming they are a stand-up company. They sold me on Synthetic Swamp Cooler Pads based upon instilling fear into me and my wife about our current pads being unhealthy. They charged almost $1,900 for the pads and installation. They ended up installing the same pads we already had, not the pads we agreed upon. And it doesn't stop there, they added in a Float and Valve which I had installed a brand new one less than a year ago. It was working completely fine, and they replaced it with the exact same brand and model and charged me $495. The technician deceptively added the float and valve into the work agreement. They did not send me a receipt after I paid them. I had to call them 4 days later to get them to send the receipt; this is when I learned about the Float and Valve being added into the bill. I have asked them to put in the Pads that we agreed on and to give me back my Float and Valve and refund the $495, but they refuse to do anything. I can't believe companies like All Pro can survive treating customers the way they do. read more

The technician replaced my Viking ignitors for a small fortune (I needed it done by holiday so just did it) and when he left the oven was not working. He noticed the gfi was tripped so told me to call an electrician. The electrician replaced the gfi as per Josh's recommendation- the stove still did not work and the gfi was still tripped. The electrician said Josh needed to examine his ignitors and likely a small tweak would resolve the gfi issue- further said if Josh had unplugged the stove he would have known to do this. Josh came back, did this and oven worked. I asked Bindy to refund my electrician fees. Back and forth for 3 weeks with every excuse and today she tells me I got a new gfi and they will not refund the electrician fees. Do not use. Overcharge and manipulative. read more

IF I COULD GIVE THIS REVIEW 0 stars I would. They dont deserve any stars. I am a active yelper that generally does not give harsh reviews. However, this company is ridiculous and a joke. We had some dishwasher troubles which the improperly diagnosed initially. Two months later and 6 visits later our dishwasher is STILL not fixed. When they originally wrongly diagnosed our problem, they came and realized the real problem, but then had to get a new part. So they "discounted" us the part price -- however they charged us the appropriate amount, the discount was just the actual price for the cost of the part. Now our dishwasher rack is broken - which they refuse to fix unless we pay 117$- when we researched the cost of the rack replacement it is 30$ on amazon and 50$ through the company. To make matters worse - this rack was broken after the technician came during his visits to our house. Lastly, the unprofessionalism is what was really terrible. 1. The technician came to our house and was on his cellphone the entire time making a social call. My husband got to hear about how "he missed his girlfriend" and how" excited he was to get off work." This technician left a tool at our house and was very unprofessionally texting my husband about it, then didnt come and pick up the tool until 3-4 days later. He seemed very inexperienced. When my husband and I tried to rectify this situation with the company we never got calls back. I asked to speak to the manager and was told it would be several days till the manager comes in. Overall, very unhappy customer and would gladly speak to this company about how they can make improvements. Transaction date: 12/24/2024 Had them come out to look at our water heater. They stated we needed a new water heater and charged us $5,900 and stated the price was so high due to it being Christmas eve and a holiday. We paid the amount and they installed a new water heater. They left our house without making sure that the water heater worked. It did not. They told us to let it dry and try again in a few hours. We did so and it still did not work. They couldn't come out on 12/25/2024 as warehouse was closed. They came out 12/26/2024 and replaced a part. They manually lit the pilot light and left again without making sure the pilot light would come on itself. Water heater started working around 8PM 12/26/2024. Water heater worked 12/27/2024 and went out again before 12/28/2024. We had no hot water 12/28/2024. They were not able to come out and replace the entire water heater until 12/30/2024. We asked the company to refund only SOME of the money as we did not get what we paid for. We paid for a working water heater on 12/24/2024 and paid holiday prices to get the heater on 12/24/2024. We did not get a working water heater until 12/30/2024. We have been in contact with the business asking for a partial refund and they have refused to give us a partial refund. Had the water heater worked 12/24/2024 and had no problems, we would have been fine paying the outrageous price. However, it did not work and we didn't get a working heater until 6 days later. We only wanted a partial refund. They refuse. It took over 2 weeks to get a manager to get in touch with us, just to have them tell us "no" to a partial refund. Several days of work were missed for us due to this experience. Business states issue were manufacturer issues and they did nothing wrong. But plumber left w/out checking pilot light worked. It should be the business who takes the loss and makes their customers whole. Not the customer losing out. We paid for hot water on 12/24 and didn't get what was promised. read more

Please do not make the same mistake we did. Read the reviews and don't ever hire All Pro. They are unethical. Just ask them for an itemized estimate, they'll refuse. Why? Because they want to hide from you the fact that they are charging insane prices and not telling you the cost of the parts makes it impossible for you to assess that. In my case the guy who came out was super nice and it turned out that the heater element was dead and needed replacement. I asked "how long with that take because we're leaving later", his answer "oh about 20min". Great, how much will it cost? He calls his boss who relays back "$520". WHAT??? So the part is $400??? "How much is the part??", "Sorry I'm NOT ALLOWED by my company to tell you that". WHAT WHAT? What is the part and/or part number?", "I'm not allowed to tell you that. So I go downstairs and look at the open dryer, ask him to point to the part which he does. I find it, OEM from whirlpool for $80 and aftermarket on Amazon for $35. So I call the boss and she has the gall to tell me it is for my own safety. She was very very defensive before the conversation even got heated so I know she knows very well this is a scam. Other reviews have cited bad work, I didn't have that experience and the guy who came out was fantastic. The issue I had was with grossly unethical business practices by the owners who basically are ripping people off. Unfortunately we had family coming into town and basically had no choice and paid them. DON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE. Every other analogous business will tell you the hours vs the parts/materials because that's how ethical people do business together, through transparency that allows for mutual understanding and accountability. I must confess that I did not have the time to review ratings before ordering services this last Saturday morning as we were desperate to get a response to the apparent issue with our A/C not holding cool temperatures - I was interested in a tune-up and got the normal runaround from several companies including our regular go-to, all too busy to make a commitment. So in fairness to All Pro I received an early window and half an hour later their technician Jacob Q turned up. Despite lack of original information from myself, after a walk through and some testing he produced a thorough diagnostic (as requested) of the existing situation for our 2 separate systems and what was needed to fix the shortfalls, and explained all to me in terms I could understand. Special filters I had but not installed yet, thanks to his preparedness for the weekend the necessary parts were in stock in his truck so he was able to get us back on our feet without much delay for which I was personally very grateful. I have no hesitation based on this performance physically with the difficult access conditions and financially with the adjustment discounts offered to recommend All Pro for HVAC work, and in view of Jacob's knowledge shown in the other household problem areas, generally. TERRIBLE!! They said if I don't pay for any repairs it is a waste of the technicians time! I had them come out to help me figure out what was going on with my dryer. I have studied my dryer and all its components, fuses, wires, etc. I have had the E64 code and replaced the heating element. It was good for 2 months and then stopped heating up. Everything still works but no heat. I purchased all the fuses/thermostat limiters that would need to be replaced. I have already cleaned the dryer and the vent, checked the continuity in everything, replaced a fuse along with the heating element itself; the element was $39 and the thermal fuse was $20. I contacted these All pros for some advice or assistance with my replacements. The call was $80 and I was quoted $539.92 for the high limit thermostat fuse, the exhaust thermal limiter and the thermister to be replaced. I asked if it was the wiring and not the fuses and was assured it was the fuses based off the diagnostic tool her had. I purchased these fuses on Amazon for $40 and replaced them in 30 minutes myself. So, I called today to see if this same technician could come out and discuss replacing the wires to the fuses or help me figure out what I have missed. The person that I was speaking with out me on hold to look up my info. When she came back on the line she asked if I was going to pay for any repairs or just the call out fee because if I wasn't going to pay to get anything fixed it's a waste of the technicians time. WHAT!? What kind of customer service is that!!? I told her never mind that I will find actual professionals to help me. read more

My vintage Wedgewood stove didn't survive the cross-state move by U-Haul (negative stars for U-Haul services). It took me quite a while just to get the big old gas stove installed in the kitchen, by friends, because no appliance service I could find was willing to do it for me. When it was time to light the pilot lights, again, I could find no one to do it. Even Questar couldn't be bothered to help. I finally lit them myself, and had burners, no oven or broiler. Over and over, I was told, "Sorry, we don't work on those." Strange - when I first bought it, not only were the pilots lit, but a part was fixed, by a regular ol' HVAC guy, with no particular experience with Wedgewood stoves. I'm detecting a dwindling knowledge base or a lack of pride of craft in the appliance business. As I began once again to search for an appliance service that might help, I found All Pro, and was hesitant to call because of the bad reviews here. As it turned out, calling them was a very good decision. I was grateful just to find a business willing to take a look. My repair technician was Gary. I can vouch for his dedication and care. Gary took the extra mile to examine the appliance in detail and explain everything. He fixed the oven and the broiler, improved the burners, and cleaned out some of the mechanisms. The griddle is not quite back, but since I never used it, that's okay with me. The cost of the repair was roughly half the price (or less) of buying a similar oven, or even a smaller, newer oven that would function as well as mine. It was well worth it. I have been burned in the hundreds of dollars by new, cheaply made appliances. Somehow, their cost continues to rise, yet the quality goes down. When you buy something good, like a well-made car or appliance, you can keep it for a long time - as long as there are folks willing to help you repair it. Thanks, All Pro! read more

I recently had my dishwasher valve go out flooding my basement. My technician Gary came out with a co-worker. They also noticed my disposal was dripping, requiring replacement. They could not figure out how to simply shut off the water at the valve going to the dishwasher. Instead they shut off the water to the entire house for two days before they could return with the new part and disposal replacement. Are you kidding? When Gary finally came back he reported he didn't have a cut off for the water to the fridge, which he didn't notice was spraying everythere in my already water damaged kitchen area. The fridge was sitting by my backdoor out of the nook so it was obvious it wasn't connected. Duh. He and his new co-worker then begin a frantic search for a shutoff valve, again, this time to the fridge. I finally called the disaster recovery Rep who was as dumbfounded as I was telling me to have them just put the fridge back and connect it. He said he would return in the evening to make sure everything was hooked up okay. I will definitely be calling ownership to see how they can make this right with me and help others avoid such incompetence. These guys should have been paying me for being without water for 2 days then spraying more water throughout my kitchen with turning the water back on with the fridge disconnected. Serious comedy of errors. UPDATE: The Manager called me back the following Monday (3/12/17) to tell me I should have called them if I had a problem with my water being shutoff. He said it was on me and it's common sense for most people. Yes, insulting. I told him I didn't think I had a choice, not knowing what I really needed was a Plumber. Very dishonest lots of bait and switch. Said it $24 dollars to diagnose but then charged a $30 trip fee as well repair quote was over $500 for a dryer that is $600 new. Dont have these guys come out it is a waste of time and money. Just want to update you on this experience they call me yesterday and still tried to convince me to have them fix my dryer. I asked what the break down was between parts and labor was and they refused to tell me claiming they did not know. I did the job my self to bay the part was 35$ including shipping labor took me 40 minutes. So if we break that down it was 465$ for labor or a rate of 620 an hour. I asked for a call back from a manager I was told that someone would call me back as one would expect that someone would call you back someday but no it was the next day which but it further out of warranty. Our refrigerator quit cooling so we called them to come down , At first the appliance guy went over all my appliances , took forever trying to tell me everything wrong with them so they could fix them , I just wanted my refrigerator fixed that's all!! He kept beating around the bush wasting my time about giving me a quote ( took over 2 hours ), then finally gave me a really high quote $1300 just to replace the generator in my old refrigerator, what a joke , I can buy a brand new fridge at that price so I declined their service ! The visit was supposed to be $24.95 as advertised in their ad , but told me it was going to be almost $60 for the charge, I wasnt going to pay that extra charge that they were trying to get out of me, it said only $24.95 and that's all I was going to pay cause I didnt use their service (misleading scam right there )it's not my fault that noone does repairs with them because their prices are so high and RIDICULOUS!! (Another company charged $650 for the same thing and was excellent!) They tried to fix a problem with my fridge and blew all of the boards and switch. It still cooled food before they started but now does not work at all. Some of the boards they ruined are not replaceable because of the age and they refuse to make it right. This was a Theramador so very expensive to replace. The technician screwed up and did not check to make sure power was off and did not unplug appliance or use a meter to determine if the power was off. He blew the new board he was putting in along with a switch and a control board. Then he called his office and the guy that answered told him he was stupid for not checking the power and they decided together to lie and say the new board was bad out of the box and get it under warranty. I was standing right by him and heard both sides of the conversation. Then he put my old one back in and finished off that one so it no longer worked at all. My fridge cannot be fixed now and I had to buy a new one. Not happy. They should have just told me they were not smart enough to fix expensive appliances. read more

I should have done a better job in my homework and checked yelp to see their reviews before scheduling an appointment with these crooks, shame on me. I would not endorse, recommend or use their services ever again! To start my experience i called to set an appointment to have my oven fixed before Thanksgiving. I explained to the call taker that I thought I knew what the issue was and went into great detail explaining it to her including the make and model. "My high thermostat fuse kept going out and that i would need a new control panel probably, please bring these parts and get my oven up and running before Thanksgiving dinner." She explained to me that maybe i was wrong and they would do a full diagnostic check when they came out and their vans were fully stocked with 1000's of parts and there would be a trip charge of 59.99 which was fully refunded in the price of the repair. I set the appointment for the day before Thanksgiving with assurance that the tech would bring the necessary parts with him. The tech showed up on time (which is the only thing that was done correctly). I explained to him what the issue was and he attempted to go to work. He started tugging on my built in oven as if he wanted to pull it out of the wall. I asked him if he knew what he was doing and he replied "I have never worked on ones of these type of ovens before. I showed him how to open the top to expose the interior of the unit. He looked so confused. I had to show him how to dis-assemble the range in order to get to the ovens components. He assured me that he knew how to diagnose the main control board and all the other parts now that he was inside of the unit. His diagnoses matched what i assumed the problem was, a bad main board and a bad high thermostat fuse. Perfect, please replace them. He went to his truck and returned 20 minutes later and explained to me that he didn't have either part and couldn't do the repair until Friday after Thanksgiving. I explained to him that i knew what the issue was and explained it to his dispatch people and assured me that he would bring the correct parts with him. He explained that they didn't make him aware of the issue and wasn't sent out with the parts. OK whats the next step? He said that he could leave the oven dis-assembled and return Friday to preform the repair. This was unacceptable with family coming over for the holiday dinner the next day and the company was not living up to the agreement that was made and please assemble my oven, i explained to him. He seamed a bit put off by this and appeared to reassemble my oven reluctantly. I was quite upset at the entire circumstance at this point. It took him another hour to reassemble the oven and then presented me with a $60 bill and 2 quotes, 1 for the high thermostat of $250 and the 2nd for the new control panel of $525. Talk about sticker shock! I refused to pay for the service call and about fell over of a heart attack with quotes. He left. I did a search on the parts on Sears.com and found that both parts together was below $200, so that a $500 mark up for installation? BEWARE!!! Inexperienced techs, poor business practices and NO communication. The ignitor went out on my gas oven so I call All Pro to come and fix it. They sent out 2 young kids to replace the ignitor. They said it was fixed but I could still smell gas so I called them to come look at it again. Once again they sent out a young kid who sat in front of my oven and just watched it and said it was working normal. I'm sorry, but if you can smell gas the oven in NOT working normal! He said there was nothing he could do and left. They sent out a third tech who said the ignitor had been installed wrong and then he fried the circuit board on my oven. Now I have no oven or stove! The tech told my husband it would be 3-5 days to get the part. It has been oven 3 weeks and we have had no communication with them other than them telling us they will not give us our money back. I didn't have an oven for Thanksgiving and I don't trust their tech to know what they are doing. At this point I'm just going to have to buy a new stove. I can't get a manager or owner to return my calls. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else! read more

They quoted me $515.00 to repair my 18 month old dryer. The heating element was bad.Thinking that was the truth I bought a new dryer for $490.00. Then I checked and I found the part in stock in SLC for 125.00. When I questioned them about the excessive amount they said that was their mark up. What a rip off. Gephart approved. Short story: All Pro's unwritten policy is to withhold critical information as a way to force you into allowing them to repair your appliance. Long story: I had an All Pro repair technician come out to diagnose an issue with my refrigerator running hot. He was polite and prompt, and seemed knowledgeable about the issue. However, at the end of the visit, he refused to give me the part number for the broken fan motor. His excuse was, "that would be me teaching you how to do my job." When I called in to ask about it, I was told it is company policy, but that it's not in any of the contract paperwork or on their website. I believe when you pay for a diagnosis (keep in mind it was not a free estimate; there's a big difference), you should receive all the information you need to decide whether to have the issue repaired or not. That's what I'm paying for, same as if I took my car to a mechanic and paid for a diagnostic. I called another local repair shop to compare, and was told that along with a paid diagnosis I would receive a list of any part numbers required, so clearly All Pro is not just following industry convention. I hope to receive a call back from them and to resolve the issue. If that happens, I'll amend this review. read more
