Messaged the shop a few days before I came to Austin and the owner, Jon, was super cool and helpful with the questions I had. I walked in on Sunday afternoon and told them what I wanted and asked them for a quote. I came back a few hours later to get my piece done. There was a bit of a wait but the people getting tattooed were in and out of there in no time. Frank took on my project and he was amazing from start to finish. He asked me if my tattoo design looked good, if I wanted it bigger or smaller, if the placement was ok, etc. I wanted it a bit bigger and the placement to be moved a little bit but he had no issue with making those changes. He really wanted to make sure that my tattoo was exactly how I wanted it to be. I'm not gonna lie, when Frank started tattooing me, my foot was super twitchy cause I was nervous but he politely told me to relax and I did. (Sorry Frank! lol) The actual tattooing process went great. His hand wasn't "heavy" so getting the tattoo was bearable for me. Overall, I had a great experience at All Saints. Best tattoo experience yet- my 7&8th pieces. Carlos is an Angel and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I sent him a message in IG with the artwork I wanted and he was ready with size options upon my arrival. He was enthusiastic, patient, and caring throughout our 2hour session and clearly cares deeply about his work. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. His line work was clean and precise and his perfectionism pays off!! Symmetry is hard but we got it just right. I had waited over a year to get these cats and I could not be more pleased that he is the artist I came to find. This is probably my second yelp review I've ever left but he deserves the kudos! So much love for these people after spending the day together. Between my first and second design he offered me candy and water and was very patient with me. I cannot rave enough about All Saints and their staff. I was wanting a coverup tattoo and I read great reviews so I reached out to the owner Jon. He was super accommodating and let me know if a coverup was even possible. He recommended Frank Ball so I reached out to him and he responded pretty quick. Went a day early (in from Houston), showed him what he was working with and what I wanted and he had something drawn up for me in no time. Myself and my husband are hard to please and we are very happy with Frank and his work. Pricing was fair, their customer service was A+ and Frank made me feel really comfortable. Absolutely perfect experience. It's been almost five years since I got my last tattoo, which I got from Chip at True Blue. He did an awesome job, so I looked him up and found All Saints. I'm a teacher, and Spring Break is really my only chance to do these types of things, so my husband and I braved the SXSW crowds in order to go down to All Saints. Chip wasn't working, but after researching the shop and artists, I felt comfortable going to any of them. The guy in front (Gibbs?) was super friendly and accommodating. He was very busy, but paid close attention to us and thanked us profusely for being so patient throughout our hour and a half wait. (Honestly, I thought it was going to take way longer, so we were perfectly content.) He printed out my design, sized it, and brought it out to make suggestions and offer advice on which direction it should face, etc. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. Chris was my artist, and I just loved him. He was funny and amiable, and it turns out we each have a sassy nearly three-year-old daughter. My design is small and simple (a little black tribal-ish bunny representing my daughter's Chinese zodiac) so it only took him about 15 minutes to complete it. He guarantees his work and offered touch-ups, etc. at any point if necessary. It was beautiful from start to finish. I woke up this morning and I'm head over heels in love with my new ink. All saints is a cool little shop on 6th street, (where again there are an obscene amount of shops) I came in, I believe it was on a Saturday/Sunday and they were happy to do a walk in for me on a hand tattoo. I got a pair of dice done by Austin Gervais, who is a really nice guy. Had an interesting conversation with him, and got to know him a little, asked him about the scene in Austin, etc. The work was quite small, but he was able to do it well, and a month or so out now, I am very happy with the results. I was a walk-in appointment on a sunny Saturday afternoon on Easter weekend. I called ahead and asked if they were taking walk-ins and they very kindly told me they were and to come on down. I was greeted nicely by the owner I believe and showed them the script I had prepared that I wanted done. They took payment, I signed a paper, and within 15 mintues got a beautiful tattoo from JD, who was extremely considerate with me as far the pain of the tattoo was concerned. He started on the most painful area first and worked his way up. We were in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. I'm so glad I choose this shop. I'm from out of town and always wanted a tattoo on Austin's famous sixth street. If you're in the tattoo mood, give this shop a try. But no, this cutie name Gibbs was just chillin' outside and helped us out with pricing before we even stepped a foot in the door. As a follow up, the tattoo healed poorly and required getting it redone within a few months of getting it. The new shop had several artists look at it and they said it was not "punched in enough." It was also asymmetrical and linework was shaky. As a result, the entire piece had to be redone slightly larger in order to tattoo over and fill in spaces so it was what I'd actually asked for at the beginning. This meant that I paid twice for the same work. While All Saints was full of super nice people and the place was clean, I wouldn't go back there. I'd rather go elsewhere and get it done right the first time than to pay double and go through the healing process twice. read more

I got my tattoo done 8/11/19. This was my first tattoo I was really nervous and excited. I requested a very simple small design.It was very quick and the shop was clean. Once I got home I noticed that my letters we not as neat as I wanted them to be. They are different sizes and uneven. I literally cried when I took off the covering. I paid $ 100 dollars. They do good jobs with large portraits but for smaller simple tattoos Proceed with caution. Everyone was really nice I just am very sad that I have this permanent tattoo with low quality.
