The team was in and out in less than a day, with very minimal modifications made (just a few access holes cut out), and were very professional in their work. My house was built in the 1950's and the insulation in the attic must have been the original. It was barely there. This company came in and did an assessment that was both thorough and quick. I was walked through everything that was recommended and was sent a quote via e-mail. The company does give you a discount if you sign the estimate within 10 days. I knew this project was desperately needed, so I signed immediately since the price was great. I have had several companies come into my home a few years ago with quotes that were significantly higher than what I was quoted by Sustainergy in October 2021. On install day, there were 2 workers who came in and worked very quickly to get the job done. They asked permission before completing a lot of the tasks (like opening a window, etc.). Very appreciative of the service! Both worked at my two separate attic entrances quite effectively and about half way through mentioned that my bathroom ventilation was damaged. They were able to call in and add it to my invoice and repair it right away! Loved that! They had protective barriers laid out to protect the floors. However, there was a bit of a dust layer left over on all my furniture after they left (to be expected), but it cleaned up easily with the vacuum and soap/water. As of December 13, 2021, over a month since the install - my house has definitely retained the heat and my furnace does not run nearly as much! My November bill was $60 less than it was last year! Thank you and hope they can help you further in this matter." Not sure what me filing the complaint has to do with anything since I only did that since they didn't respond. I went from being told refund was "in process" on March 4th to you didn't let us resolve the issue before filing with the BBB on June 8th and by the way we're being sold good luck. Clearly they never had any intentions of honoring the 25% money back guarantee that I have in writing or resolving any issues that I had. Not sure what my next move will be.

Before he started we chatted briefly about what my goals were and why I was interested in the audit. We came up with three goals and went from there. He tested the air quality of my home and did a blower door test. We found some surprising areas that was losing heat and were inefficient. He was helpful in ideas for quick home fixes to making a list of problem areas to focus on. I was pleased with the whole experience. I wouldn't have realized energy audits were a thing until I spoke with a co-worker who recently had one conducted. I am glad I got one done on my home. We hired this company last year to insulate our home. They did a full attic tune up, installed…read moretheir polyshield everywhere, and did a number of non-insulation things to cut our bills, like lowering the temp on our water-heater, which wasn't appreciated. I'm seeing what a waste of money it was now because our house is still leaking heat, creating huge icicles all over and water damns that are leaking through the walls, the we're still the first on the street to have all the snow melted off our roof. It's exactly what I was seeing last year that led me to hire them. I feel like we were hoodwinked.

We've been service members plan since the middle of September and noticed our heating and cooling…read morewas inefficient. Electric bills were sky high and KWH usage was outrageous for our 1188 square foot home. We had Accurate out to service our unit as soon as we bought our home. Everything 'checked out.' We called them back out this past February because throughout the winter our shampoo bottles were freezing up in the shower and our thermostat was set to 66 but the heat gun we had purchased read a few rooms in the home to be as low as 54 degrees. Accurate came back out (same technician) and said all he could find was a dirty furnace filter. I found this hard to believe since it had been changed in the last 30 days. We called Eco out for a second opinion. He found our refrigerant to be under 2.5 lbs remaining, a failed TX valve and a coil that needed replaced. Being service members of Accurate's, we decided to call them back to our home to repair. The manager denied this being overlooked by his tech and still charged us $1258. The unit is only 3 years old so parts were under warranty but he still charged us for the refrigerant and the labor. This is absolute fraud and I'm ashamed that businesses continue operating when they display this much disregard for their customers. Not only has Accurate caused discomfort for my family for the longevity we have lived in this home, but they've also allowed us to pay electric bills as high as $600 per month, wasted our time, betrayed our trust in HVAC companies, and probably shaved years of life off our unit. The only true amenity we had when purchasing our home in Frankfort was this HVAC unit because it was so new. Now that our unit is repaired, my husband and I will be doing our due diligence in finding a company we can TRUST and we will be doing business elsewhere

I have also had Accurate install a Generac Generator and a Split Duct system. All 3 experiences were Great. The only reason I'm leaving a 4 rating is because this project I decide to finance using their finance option. Everything associated with the financing claimed 5.99% interest and 5 year terms. This was just not true. I have a credit score in the excellent range and after I applied and took a hard inquiry hit on my credit report the % rate was 11.7 and the term was 84 months, so a bit of deceptive lending going on, on the bank's part. I would assume Accurate doesn't control the bank but needs to inquire from the bank why these deceptive practices are going on. Again back to Accurate's team I mentioned, top notch operators. Skill set of the technicians absolutely spoke for itself. Journeyman quality work. Good job!!
